Targa blocked as the human swung again, 'Predictable'. It's style appeared to be basic, but it was not ignorant with the blade at least. This could be fun if the human turned out to be a capable opponent. He circled slowly, seeming to look for an opening, then rushed in suddenly, making three quick strikes, then lept back out of range of imediate retaliation. Now expecting the human's counter attack, he moved his sword to position it defensively infront of his head and chest. He added a graceful florish to the action, and eyed the human between the two tips of the blade, a showy chalenge to the creature. The human had passed his test of it's reaction time, this could be fun indeed.

Lebron studied the elite...clearly he was testing him with those strikes....he had to of been. Now it was Lebron's turn to test the elite.
Lebron circle the elite studying the elites stance and watching him follow him.
Lebron delivered a quick strike that was blocked by the Sangheili. Lebron kept delivering predictably easy strikes and let the cycle of montenany begin lulling his oppenent into a false sense of confidense before he tossed his sword into his other hand and delivered a strike. Ah the advantages of being ambidextrous.
He stepped back and grinned he bet his oppentent would be amazed...or jealous and wary of his talent.

Targa grunted, mildly impressed. Humans weren't the strongest of warriors, but they could very well be the most cunning. The Spartan fought like a promising young swordsman fresh from the academy: what it lacked in experience, it made up for in inventiveness. If it hadn't made such a show of switching hands, it might have caught Targa off guard, but he saw the trick and was ready. Still it had been some time before he had faced a left handed swordsman, it would be tricky, but it had some advantages... Targa charged, holding the Spartan's sword away with his own while he slashed at it's unprotected right side with the dagger on his left gauntlet. Perhaps a little unfair, but it was a demon after all, he had no pity for it.

Lebron grunted as the elite impacted him and the slashed him with his energy gauntlet. Weird....he thought elites were suppose to fight fair....no matter he was not out of this fight yet. Two could play at this elite games but well his combat knife would do little against his energy gauntlet or shield. Despite how good Lebron might of been he clearly was at a disadvantage in this fight he needed a way to even the odds or get out of here....but how.
"Now see here son you use both hands to swing the axe not one....see you cut through more wood with both hands delivering the force from the axe then just using one hand" Bah but that plan was risky as using both hands would increase the power of the blow but slow the hit and reaction time to a counterattack down so that was out.
He went in for another lefthanded attack and he held against the elites blade doing his best to overpower it. He quickly grabbed his combat knife from his armor and stabbed with all the strength he could manage in his free right hand into the elite making its way through the shield and armor and into the side of the elite. Lebron make it clear if the elite wanted to fight dirty Lebreon would return the favor plus they were even the elite got to his side and now Lebreon got to its side.

Ream had found her demon, they had played cat and mouse while the Ultra and the other demon danced with each other. Finally she had one in her grasp, literally.
Jack found himself half hanging outside a window again. He had ran out of ammo and wasn't much of a fight without his gun. The Elite got him. He was pulled back inside and then taken to the next window, one not broken. The Elite smashed Jack through the glass, pulled him back in and the began repeatedly smashing his head on the windowsill. The Elite laughed each times Jacks head hit the windows frame, over and over again. Each time Jack could hear his helmet cracking and could feel himself slipping out of conciousness.
Ram laughed victoriously, lifting up the demons head and smashing it down one last time. After activating her dagger, she lifted the demon to her level and looked through its cracked visor; it was bleeding.
"You are just like the rest."
She lifted her dagger and hovered it in front on the demons visor, ready to pierce through the crack. She smiled and pulled her arm back, but her attention suddenly focused elsewhere. A large grey object began to approach from the Corvettes rear. She looked over the demons shoulder and watch on as a Human Frigate stalked its prey, and fired.
A single MAC round struck the Corvette from behind, passing through the entire craft. Ream watched on, terrified, as the MAC round exploded out the front of the Corvette and continued over the ONI building. She looked back at the Corvette. The ship began to fall to the ground, flaming out the MAC rounds entry and exit wounds with its engines roaring in pain. Before the craft could hit the ground its slipspace drive destabilised, leaking its radioactive and flammable bi-product into its engine core.
The resulting explosion was... something new. Half of the Corvette exploded while the other half disappeared into slipspace. The two shockwaves struck the ONI building with great force, throwing Ream and Jack away from the window and into the wall. The building continued to shake as the Frigate passed at low altitude over ONI: Delta Site, dropping orbital drop shock troopers into the courtyard and into the building itself.
The Elites inside were now entirely cut off, and Ream knew it. She quickly considered her options and decided to kill the demon and flee. With her dagger still drawn, she turned to face it. But alas it had slipped away again. Ream screamed a curse and smashed her fist into the floor and stood; that demon had to die!
***
The building shook from the Corvettes explosion, sending everyone inside the conference room to the floor or up against the wall. Anau pushed himself up and looked outside as pieces of the Corvette rained down on the site. His squad had inflicted a lot of damage, but had accomplished nothing. The information they had come to take was destroyed and the demons they had attempted to kill all still lived. He had failed.
