Zarra wandered ahead as they moved toward the hangar. She stayed quiet as she walked, until they reached a closed door. The control panel was smashed, and the door wouldn't open. She looked around for a way to force it open, and found a large hole torn in the wall nearby. It wasn't quite large enough for Zarra to fit through in her armor, but she was able to get a good look at the next room. It was dark and she could see the unconscious forms of several Elites on the other side. She turned back to Anau and the minor. The minor had already gotten out a grenade, but Zarra shook her head, "We can't blow the door open, but I think I can fit through and try the panel on the other side." She sat down and removed some of her armor then tried to climb through again. This time she made it through with only a little difficulty, and made her way to the panel. She tried it a few times but the door still wouldn't open. She went back, "The other panel isn't working either, I think it's jammed shut."

"Looks like we're blasting our way through," Anau said, taking a few steps back. "Do it," The minor moved to the door and placed down the grenade, he activated it and quickly darted back to Zarra and Anau. After the grenande had detonated, Anau and the minor investigated what was left of the door. "Good, let's move on,"

Zarra hurried into the room and made sure none of the unconscious elites had been harmed by the blast. "They're fine. I would have liked if I had been given time to move them a safer distace away, though," said Zarra, a little irritated. "I don't have any supplies to treat them, and there are too many to move. We can send someone back for them later, they aren't in any danger." She stood again and followed Anau and the minor through the next few doors until the reached the hangar. It was damaged like the rest of the ship; a couple of Elites were putting out a fire and two docked Phantoms had been smashed into each other to form one large mass of wreckage, but it was less desolate than the dark, empty halls. Sangheili and Unggoy hurried around, trying to assess the damage, moving wreckage, carring off the injured, and what ever else needed to be done. The activity was reminiscent of a hive of creatures called ants. Zarra had once stopped to observe the tiny creatures, after she had inadvertently trodden upon their home. Only to find, miniutes later, that they were of the variety that had a very painful bite. Thus was the appearance of the hangar.
(OoC: Behold! An epic simile! XD Not that my simile was incredably epic, that's just the literary term for when an author drags a simile on for sometimes an entire paragraph or two.)

(OoC: Specs, this is a carrier, right? those things are so huge you can fit a UNSC Frigate inside it. How the hell did you get down again? xD)
"Surely there is something flyable left in this hanger," Anau sighed, looking around. "I'll go check the vehicle clamps," the minor said, running off. "Good, and get someone to tend to the unconscious elites we found," Anau replied. "Yes sir," the minor yelled back.

"It talks!" Charlie said, surprised and excited. She lowered her rifle and crouched next to Matt. "Hi, how are you?" she asked it.
(OoC: Ok, so if the Elites Carrier crashed where our ODST troops spent the night, then they're pretty close to the forest and if I remember correctly, Mira was on her way or close to the forest. If you haven't already thought about it Indi, Mira could hook up with the elites, if you want, you got that option, hook up with us in the forest or the elite buddys)

Russell continued to look at it, cataloguing it for his Encyclopedia Bestiarium. "Well, alright then. My job is done here, I'm gonna catch some sleep before we go in any further."

Zarra found some medical suplies and a mirror, then sat down to get a better look at the gash. The area around the gash was badly bruised and it hurt to clean it. "Well it doesn't look too bad," she sighed. She then chuckled, "I think it's a new record for me: hit over the head three times in one day. That can't be good for me." She put a small bandage over the wound, "I hope that will work." (OoC: I'll try to think of something for Mira. I almost forgot about her. )

(Ooc I was rushing to have the Elites join the action..we crashed a good distence away from the campsite so the shockwaves wouldn't affect the campsite...your right the hanger is big so I am backing Katar and Inwa so now we can have the ship be a safe distence and consider the size of the hanger)
Katar walked from the Wraith he had been inspecting to see the newcomers that had walked into the hanger. "have you heard word of the others" said Katar who then felt Inwa begining to wake up so he placed her on the floor. "glad you could join us Shipmisstress" said Katar with a grin. "well its not my fault I ran into your headress" said Inwa bitterly. "its not that hard" said Katar. "yeah whatever" said Inwa as she rose from the ground.
*** "you and you with me" said the Ultra who pointed to two Minors. "Major your in charge here we are going to try to find the others" said the Ultra. "of course sir" said the Major. "come let us go" said the Ultra as he ran towards the forest that was striaght ahead. Several more Elites joined the campsite who had escaped the crash.

(OoC: The size of the hanger is friggin huge! I've seen concept art of multiple Frigates in the Shadow of Intents hanger)
Anau couldn't help but laugh and turned away. "I'm sure that will work fine," As he cleared his throat, the minor that had ran off to find something flyable called him over. "I'll be back," Anau said, running off the minor. When Anau joined him, he noticed three phantoms, all locked in tightly to their clamps. "Excellent," Anau said happily.

Watching Anau and the other Elite with interest, Zarra hopped down from the place where she had been sitting, then winced, putting her hand to her head for a moment. She recovered from the suddon jarring, and hurried over to other two. "So, do we have a way out of this wreck?" she asked.

"Looks like it, we just need a pilot," the minor replied. "And a way to release the Phantoms," Anau added. "I think the power is out throughout the ship, we may need to cut them from their clamps," "I'll find some tools and men to assist," the minor said, walking towards a group of elites gathered by some rubble. "Good," Anau said happily. "Now, Inwa, I know you may need time to recover, but we are going to need a plan, we must get word to Sangheilios that there is a new threat in this galaxy,"
(OoC: I knew that...)

"Excuse me if you were about to speak Ship Mistress," said Zarra, "But, wasn't this planet one of the ones we were monitoring. They've undoubtedly had all communication down here blocked since the humans arrived, but we were still getting a signal from the sensors when we left. I don't know anything about communications, but we might be able to use them somehow."
