"We will both have our chance," Anau smiled. He looked away from her and suddenly remembered he was on a hostile planet. He sighed and took off towards a group of minors.

Zaku heard the conversation of the other Sangheili on the other side of the gate. These were the Covenant Separatist's Finest? They talked like a band of Grunts.
The gold-armored zealot stepped out from his cover, appearing on the tower-side of the gate. He pointed to a hole in it and growled, "We have made an entrance, and the Minors are most impatient to butcher some Brutes. Popularity as a commander goes down significantly if you deny all that your Elites want."

Razo watched as Anau moved from Zarra and the conversation ended, he had heard parts, not that it was his business, nor did he care.
The Arbiter looked around at the few Minors speaking beside him.
"Be silent." He whispered, lurking in the shadow of a building as they rounded the final corner to behold the glorious image of the tower before them, shooting up into the sky as far as the naked eye could see.
The sudden movement to his left caused Razo to raise his carbine, the gold armour shining in the dimming light of the afternoon sky. The Arbiter lowered his weapon immediately to the sight of the Zealot, watching as he pointed out the entrance they had swiftly created.
Keeping out of sight, Razo signalled for the squad to take cover as he spoke to the Zealot quietly.
"Well done, brother," The Arbiter said, clearly, placing a hand on Zaku's shoulder, "Let us give your troops what they desire."
Razo slowly rose from beside the Zealot and moved into cover beside Anau, facing the rest of the squad silently as he gathered his words.
"I want this done as quickly and clean as possible, we have all discussed the plan, the time has come to set it in motion." Razo paused for a moment, examining the troops, they seemed ready.
"Anau, Zarra, we shall take point." The Arbiter paused once again, pulling his carbine up from beside him and balancing it gracefully in his arms.
"Tonight, Brute flesh will burn."
Razo moved back to Zaku and nodded, following him to the cover of which they had patiently waited behind moments ago.

The Zealot nodded to Razo, and murmured. "Thank you, Arbiter- my Elites made the entrance, though. I believe it was the Minor under cover closest to the Tower."
Zaku listened to the Arbiter when he returned, and growled silently, "Arbiter, Major Yell has made a good point clear to me- he believes that it would be best for us to reach the tower by sneaking through the rubble on the left."

"Yes, Arbiter," Anau acknowledged. Seeing as though the best way to storm the tower was still being debated, he walked back to Zarra and took her away from the others. "I don't agree with the Arbiters decision to put you on point with us, I want you to stay close to me at all times, no running off and getting yourself into trouble," he said, once out of everyone's view.

"I can be careful," said Zarra, looking annoyed, "I've taken point before and nothing happened..." She thought back, trying to come up with an example. "Well, I have done this before. I was trying to be careful back there, believe it or not. I just..." she looked down with a sigh, "I'll try to pay more attention. But I can do this."

Pyrus stood behind the pilots of the Phantom Dropship as they prepared to land and join the other Elites. He didn't wear his usual honour guard armour for this mission. Instead, he wore his Assault armour but kept his normal Combat helmet. "When we touch down, dissappear as fast as you can after we've exited the Phantom." the pilots nodded as a response and continued their descent. Pyrus checked and made sure his energy sword was on, along with his plasma Rifle and Carbine.
His Combat team touched down and he immediatly headed for the Arbiter and ordered his troops to go inside in pairs.

Razo nodded to Zaku and signalled the squad to begin advancing. The time had come.
The Arbiter began moving through the rubble, the shadows cast by what seemed to be the remains of a destroyed building almost completely removing him from sight. The now dark night began consuming Doisac, a few moons beamed light down upon the face of the planet, lighting the scene before the Tower slightly.
It was then, a bolt of plasma smashed into the wall beside Razo, causing him to flee the rubble quickly. The brutes had spotted them.
"Advance!" The Arbiter shouted, lining up a clear shot at a brute not far from the entrance and firing three times, killing it before the massive beast hit the ground.

Zaku lifted a plasma rifle, sending a volley of plasma into a blue-armored Brute Bodyguard's chest. The two turquoise-clad Brute Minors who attacked met the same fate. As the Zealot dashed towards the door, he fell to the ground, gasping. His shields had been taken down, and his armor pierced. A Jackal sniper cackled from a veranda, and aimed its beam rifle at the Elites, firing indiscriminately.
Zaku tossed both plasma rifles at the door, and clawed his way to it. The Ship Master then proceeded to fling a plasma grenade at the jackal, and it quite deliberately landed on the side of the lizard-like alien's neck. It detonated explosively.
Zaku clawed his way to a crate, and hoisted himself up to both feet, picking up his plasma rifles again, and growling in pain and anger.

Pyrus activated his camoflague and activated his energy sword. he jumped at three Brutes. One was slashed across the stomach, the second Brute was impaled in the chest, and the final one was decapitated. "Move out! I want two of you to the Arbiter! Another two to the Zealot! The rest of you come with me!" Pyrus shouted to his squad.

The scene before the entrance to the tower was lit with the licker of plasma fire, battering the ground around the Sangheili squad at an insane rate, some had fallen, but the majority pushed forward in a daring and noble assault. The Arbiter was at the head of the rushing Sangheili, firing his carbine swiftly.
Then, they came.
Razo only counted three, but they were still a thorn in his side. The ghost vehicles sped their way through the city, launching over a barrier of rubble and propelling themselves into the squad. Razo could only watch as an Elite was splattered by one of the incoming Ghost's, purple blood erupted all over the front of the vehicle as the stiff body was hurled across the battlefield. The Arbiter reacted swiftly, pulling one of the five small, blue plasma grenades from his belt, swiping his thumb across the top of the small orb, readying the discharge of the plasma within five seconds after it left Razo's fingertips.
The Arbiter then began sprinting toward the nearest Ghost, moving behind cover as shards of brute spikes smashed around him until eventually, he caught the drivers attention.
The game was on.
Razo stood still as the Ghost began speeding toward him, he had to time this perfectly or he would be killed instantly. Then, suddenly, Razo leapt into the air as the Ghost came close enough to touch.
The Arbiter flipped through the air gracefully, landing on the back of the Ghost behind the driver, who swirled crazily in an attempt to fling its attacker to his death. Razo, however, struck outward with his right hand, sticking the now burning hot plasma grenade to the brutes fur. Razo only had a few seconds before this Ghost was turned into debris. Quickly, Razo pushed himself upwards and dropped off the Ghost, landing with a roll as the Ghost continued speeding forwards. The Arbiter turned his head and watched as the vehicle was absorbed by the blue plasma, incinerating the driver instantly and sending what remained of the Ghost soaring into the air.
One down, two to go.
Razo then focused his attention on the second Ghost, whom had apparently seen the explosion a ways away and began unleashing a barrage of plasma shots on the Arbiter's position. Razo rolled to his left behind some debris from the previous ghost and changed the clip in his carbine quickly, moving to his left shortly after to see the Ghost tear through another Elite, sending the mangled body swiftly to the ground. It was then the ever-growing buzzing noise emitting from what Razo now recognised as the engine of the Ghost reached the Arbiters ears, an insane idea racking through his mind.
The second Ghost began its approach, the sight of Razo moving from his cover unnoticed by the driver, who continued speeding toward the debris.
A death-inducing mistake.
As the second ghost moved close enough to the debris, Razo fired a shot from his carbine directly at the engine enveloped in melted, purple metal, causing it to explode violently, sending a wave of plasma over the second ghost, knocking the driver out of his seat, wailing in pain as its fur began burning severely. Razo watched for a moment as the Brute squirmed on the ground before standing up from his prone position and moving back to the battle.
It seemed the squad had dealt with all but a few Brutes who had retreated inside the Tower and the lone Ghost tearing its way across the battlefield in a feeble attempt to escape. Razo moved a hand to his com-link quickly.
"Zarra, take out that driver."

Zarra aimed her beam rifle and fired at the driver of the final ghost, but even though the Ghost was moving in a straight line, it was hard to compensate for the speed of the vehicle. She hit the Brute in the shoulder, and he spun the Ghost around to face her. She fired a few more times but she had aimed to hastily and they missed. The vehicle rushed toward her and she only had a few moments to react. She jumped, trying to get out of the way but there wasn't enough time to get clear. Insted she grabed the edge of the Ghost's control panel, and swung around to try to use her momentum to kick the Brute out of the seat, like she had seen others do. Insted she hit the Brute in the face with her knee. Enough force to knock the driver senseless, but not enough to remove him from the vehicle. The unconscious Brute fell onto the controls, hitting the boost. Zarra was unable to hang on as the vehicle suddenly accelerated. She hit the ground hard and rolled, ending up face down in the dirt, and feeling like her arm had been yanked out of it's socket. The Ghost smashed into a wall a good distance away, and Zarra sighed with relief.

Verllan'a and Rane' sprinted across the city, their phantom was very late, too late in fact. Rane' suddenly put a hand out in front of Verllan'a. "We should stop, and save our energy for what is to come." "Wise, but we really need to catch up." She replied. "Yes... bu -... Fine." They quickly ran across the streets, gazing around for any clues of been close, blood, weapons, anything. 'Why is it, that we always seem to be late?' Verllan'a thought. 'Oh well.'
"Verllan'a! Look!" Rane' pointed towards a purple object in the distance. "It appears to be a ghost smashed into the wall?" "No! There!" Verllan'a looked a few metres to the left, and what seemed to be was a member of the squad lying on the dirt. She ran faster over to the Elite's position. "It's Zarra.." Rane' quickly said. He crouched on the ground beside her and noticed a broken piece of armour lying beside. "Are you alright?"

"Commander! A Sangheili is down!" someone said over Pyrus's com. "Who?" he asked. "the sniper." the elite replied. "Verywell, I am on my way."

"I'm alright," said Zarra. She got up slowly, and rubbed her shoulder. It was still in the right place, but it hurt. "Sprained," she muttered to herself. "I'm just a little stunned," she said to the others, "I fell of a Ghost and got knocked around a little, that's all." She stood there for a moment longer, still gathering her wits. Then looked toward the fighting. "Come on," finally said, "The battle is continuing with out us." She picked up her beam rifle, but it's battery was drained. She decided to keep an eye out for a carbine, the fighting in the tower would be at close quarters and she needed something more versatile.
