So I was thinking this morning, for nearly three years now some of us have been staring at the same website layout. We are a pretty unique group of people, and I think we deserve our own unique layout. With that thought came this one: We need our own site.
I'm not talking about moving to another proboards site, or some other free provider, I'm talking about our OWN site, our own domain name. (projectrp.com for example)
Who would be up for this?

As long as we can do everything there like we can here, I guess I'm up for it.

That would be cool. It would cost money though, wouldn't it? And we would need someone with a technical background if something went wrong; we wouldn't have Proboards' support with technical issues.

specs, leave this to me. @777, and more! @indi, two mates of mine (Jay and Ryan) run a web hosting business. I'll do it through them and take care of the costs myself. I believe they offer 24/7 tech support, and I believe Jay can design a custom layout for a small fee. @mitch, this site will be used as reference and an archive, it's not going down the sink.

Some sort of mini-wiki would be good, too. Like a search bar that you can find the profiles for everyone's characters with.

Well that sounds like a pretty good idea. It'll be nice to have the help of people you know. Will we be able to transfer everything from this site to the new site, or will we be pretty much starting over?

Alright I will leave you too it Danny. 777 as we speak I am working on a wiki for us See on this Wiki we can have all of the sites history and RP timelines without the hassle of going through them and you can make your character profiles cooler

Will we be able to transfer everything from this site to the new site, or will we be pretty much starting over? Not sure about that one. It might have to be done manually if you really want to do that.

While we were playing I was talking to one of the hosting guys on msn, he said we probably wont be able to copy over all the data from this site, but everything else is a go ahead. So seeing as though we're starting from scratch, he put me onto a program to use and I'm going to get him to sorta coach me, so it's going to be a while before this site is up.
In the meantime, we need domain names. Everyone start pitching ideas!

^ We can back all of our data onto the Wiki I am making So yeah I need someone who is skilled in Wiki to help me and Indi or Danny to get me all of RP info from TLC. Should we just keep Project RP?
