I decided it bring this issue ok because if you have not heard that a couple from Flordia cloned their dead dog for $155,000 dollars because this was the wining bid in an auction for it.
First of all do you consider cloning animals to be morale and secound of all do you consider cloning humans to be morale? Your job will be to win me over to your side (if we even have sides..but you never now which is why I am putting it here instead of general). At the end I will give you my 2 cents as well right now I don't really feel like it because well I can't think straight when I am hungry.

If I had the power, I would create a Grand Army of the Rep- Danny's.
And I don't see anything wrong with cloning.

Not everyone believes in a God. You don't have to believe in a God. I'm Christian - I believe in a God and I have no problem with it. It's not like you're making new life; you're just replicating an old one.

Well people though we shouldn't have the power to do things like going to space. As long as people don't go about it like they think they're God, and nobody is harmed by it, I have no problem with cloneing.

Yes I agree it is morale however I believe it should have some restrictions such as each person who wishes to be cloned must have taken a mental sanity test or some kind of exam to prove they are not insane because well we don't want two Adolf Hitlers in the world. Also a criminal back ground check so lets say the head of the mob doesn't make a clone of himself so once he dies he will be "reborn". Techincally it doesn't count as creating new life now that I think about it as you are simply taking a persons genetic material and placing it in an zygote or something like this. Hmm clone armies I don't know about it effective but in the wrong hands well I guess it could be "clone" vs "clone" as well now that I see it the clone is still a normal human being just geneticaly and possibly mentaly related to the other person or if not biologicaly if the family adopts the clone...though this depends as what you define as a human. Though as of now cloning would not be that effective as clones have a high rate of mortality so well sorry right now unless you are super rich cloning yourself so you can be "reborn" is to expenisve as you would keep having to buy more clones.

Wouldn't it be sweet to have a clone of yourself? Especially playing a game, if you're playin co-op, instead of suggesting "Get a bigger gun," "Find some cover," "Run away so I can respawn!" They'd just do it =P
Aw man, we'd be bffl.... right up until the part we realise we're a bastard and try to kill each other.

To be fair, Specs, evil is a point of view. Most Nazi's would have happily cloned Hitler. Indeed, I believe Joseph Mengel or whatever his name was worked on a cloning plan, although he aimed on cloning Aryans, and not non-Aryans like Hitler.

Yes I agree with that but well we don't need another killing of 6 million people.

Depends if it's in the right cause. If you consider all the terrorist, murderers and paedophiles in the world, there's probably around six million of them, if not more.

I really only believe in Cloning if they don't screw up every few times.
To any that watch the new drama Eleventh Hour which shows on CBS, I believe the first or so episode involved Cloning human beings, though the results were far from even being considered human. I don't give a shit if it only seldom happens: If there's ANY ONE chance that it'll screw up and turn a Clone into a blob of indiscernible gunk, it's nothing short than a mockery of life.

I am firmly against cloning a living breathing being, be it animal or human. Cloning organs is fine but not a full human.
