"So what is it?" Anau asked humbly, oblivious to the seriousness of her condition, "A cold?" he chuckled.
Lachlan smiled and kneeled down to Rakka's height, "You and me both," he said, "Nice to meet you Rakka, my name is Lachlan."

Lyra(she sprinted in after the her tirade) Shuddered and checked her pistols again. Out of ammo. She swore explosively under her breather and shoved them back into her belt. No pipe. No pistols. Lots of Flood. What a great day they were having.

((OOC/ Just a heads-up, Oru, Alex tossed Lyra into the Grav Lift on the last page, so she's been in safety for about a full page. xD))
Rakka attempted to repeat the Nice Demon's name, but his vocal cords and mouth weren't exactly the best conduit. "Lock.. lack.. loke-lan? Lokelan!! Greetings greetings greetings Lokelan!!"
The Unggoy remembered he had seen a human greeting before... the humans had grasped hands and shaken up and down. A curious gesture, certainly, but Rakka wanted to be polite and respectful. The little green-armored creature seized one of Lachlan's hands with both of his and began swinging his arms up and down emphatically. "Lokelan! Are you my friend?"

((OOC Grunts are on average 5-6 just thought I would throw that information out there....they only look tiny to use because Spartan's are freaking huge plus the average )) Otto went into the control room and saw the terminal was locked and only the technican could use but thankfully as CO of this ship he could override it easily. " Welcome Commander Strauss is Technical Officer Steve Wallance sick today " asked the computer in a mechanized voice. " You could say that" said Otto back. " I am sorry to hear that " Otto paused and looked to see what cyropods contained noninfected Spartans and proceeded to start the unfreezing process. While they slowly unfrooze used the terminal to open the Cyro-Armory. " unlock all the lockers please " said Otto. " but you only unfrooze 5 Spartan-III's " said the computer "...some of them did not make it " said Otto. He brought out the 5 Spartan III's locker contents and placed them all on a table he moved from the control room. " feel free to help yourselves to anything in the other lockers....I know you elites don't usually like to use human weapons but your swords can't last forever " *** Katar walked into the human storage facility and decided to not be rude and pick up a Flamethrower and one of the silly oversized fuel tanks that they required to have for prolonged use. " at least the humans had weapons to burn the bodies " said Katar as he walked back out to the main cyro area and burned the bodies of the killed Spartan forms. ((OOC Oh the computer does not have an AI its more like the narrator things computers today have but more advanced. ))

"Sure mate, I'll be your friend," Lachlan laughed, letting his arm hang loose so Rakka didn't break it. "You just made nice with a Grunt," Kelly observed, "Sad," "Shut up," Lachlan muttered.

Zarra shook her head without looking at Anau, her eyes were fixed on some indefinate point in the air in front of her as her mind raced. "Anau..." she started to speak, then stopped. Should she tell him now? In this horrible place? It would just be more for him to worry about. Then again, he was already worried about her, if she didn't tell him, he might imagine something much worse.

Anau took off his helmet and approached Zarra. He dropped both his Rifle and headgear onto the floor and stood in front of her, trying and failing to hide his worried expression. Something was wrong, terribly wrong, he knew it. "What is it?"

(Well, she's on the ship and that's what counts right?) Lyra caught sight of Rakka. 'He's so cute!' She though smiling at the grunt who was enthusiastically shaking hands with a Spartan. Lyra wove to her feet and moved over to the door wondering how many of the Flood were outside.

Zarra finally looked at Anau and smiled slightly. “Here, sit with me,” she said, offering him a seat next to her. She waited for him to sit down before she spoke again. “It’s not bad really. In fact I would be thrilled if this was happening at any other time.” She let out a small laugh, “I am thrilled, but… I’m rambling, I’m sorry.” She looked at the floor and shook her head, smiling again. “What I’m trying to say is I’m fine, I’m more than fine.” Her smile grew and she leaned against him, resting her head against his chest, then she spoke very softly, “I’m pregnant.”

Anau's immediate response was silence. He was speechless; he couldn't believe it, his wife was carrying his son or daughter, he was going to be a father. Him, Anau Nadum, a father. He looked down at Zarra resting on his chest and smiled. This was... this was amazing. “You’re pregnant,” he stated in shock, looking down her body to her stomach. “I can’t believe it!” He cheered quietly, attempting to contain his joy and wrapping his arms around her, “You’re going to be a mother, and I’m going to be a father! We’re going to be a family, this is extraordinary!” He made no effort to contain his joy that time. He lifted her head up to his and gave her a long wholehearted kiss and then rested his head against hers, “...this explains a lot.” he laughed.

Darman sat in his corner. After several minutes of staring blankly at an undefined point on the ceiling, he unclipped an MRE from his belt.
Pork Ribs/Boneless/in BBQ X10@2R
It seemed today was his lucky day. While the legions of the reanimated plotted his downfall, he was content to sit back, pop open the tin, and get something to eat. He paused between bites, suddenly realizing the situation. Even if the team patrolling the corridors was able to find a way to destroy this ship, how would they make it back to the Phantom? There were dozens of the things clinging to the hull, attempting to find a way to bypass the shield. And there was no way to clear them. He stood, leaving his meal half-eaten. "Pilot, is there any way we can depressurize the hangar?"

Zarra snuggled closer to Anau, still smiling. She was overjoyed, but terrified at the same time. She had never been responsible for something so precious and so fragile, and in a war zone of all places, she wasn't prepared for it at all. "I just wish I had known a little earlier," she sighed, "Then I wouldn't have left home and gone running out here where I could get shot at, or worse. I'll risk my own life if I have to, but not our child's."
