" do you have an appointment..probally not seeing as you came here but if you need to talk to him he has something free in about 3 months" said the elite. " Don't get your hopes up though as Katar rarely has time for your kind...seeing all the trouble they are causing him and the Security Council" added the elite. *** " No I will do it myself...I will take care of my mistake" growled Katar. " Commisoneer turn a blind eye to this...you know that I would normally go through will the due process of the law but this...abomination deserves no mercy".
" what are you even talking about" said the Commisoner with a grin and a wink. He tossed the jail keys to Katar and then went back to his paper work like nothing had even happened.
Moments like this made Katar glad he chose one of his old surviving contacts from military school. Of course he had to drag the guy from retirement but he had done it....he could not count on new blood...they were too soft on the humans. " the execution room free " asked Katar.
" No someone lucky fellow has an appointment in there but the doctor should be in shortly " said the Commisoner.
" Then I guess he will have to wait...tell the doctor once he is done he can have a break " said Katar dissapointed that action could not be taken immediatly.

"Three months!?" Chandler yelled, storming forward and slamming his fist down on the secretaries desk, "Katar is going to be apart of an operation that will save your kind, and all kinds from a Rifter dominated universe,"
"If I cannot see him now, you will tell me where he is so I can find him."

" I would love to buddy but you need an appointment to see the Councilor....I don't care if your a Prophet or the head of the UNSC you have to make an appointment to speak to the Councilor no exceptions" "unless you are Police Comissoner Xar, the lovely Misstress Inwa Killam, Anau and Zarra Nadum/Yairum, Shipmaster Zaku Vadum (OOC Sorry if I got it wrong ), The Grunt Pope ((great guy )), a member, even if your a honorary one, of the Yamos clan or the Killam clan, an elite councilor, his cleaning grunt or The Human who came in a ruined space ship to inform us about The Rifters who is here to reclaim the fixed up ship; then you can see the Councilor without an appointment " said the secratary who by the time they finished was out of breath due to the rage and emphasis behind each name.

Chandler stood silently, frowning ferociously behind his visor. He was about ready to draw his rifle and kill this Elite... but then coming all this way would be for nothing. "Fine," he growled, running through the list of people who could get him to Katar. A cleaning Grunt? This was insulting.
Inwa, Zarra, Xar, Zaku or Anau, the only ones that were named, and quite obviously Elites. The Shipmaster Zaku, the Commissioner Xar and Mistress Inwa, sounded too busy to help.
"Who are Zarra and Anau?"

(OOC Otto was on that list just saying but I doubt Chandler knows that Otto had jumped to Sanghelios after the Rifters had attacked You could go get The Grunt Pope as like I said he is a Great Guy) " have a nice day your presense is no longer needed here seeing as you failed to make an appointment ahead of time" said the Secratary with his finger over the Security botton incase this human decided to wait here until Katar returned from The Police Headquaters....or did he go to the Academy...not that he cared as he was transfered from his old desk to this one....Katar had too many appointments and people he allowed in anytime...he even let school children into his office when the schools brought children on field trips to the Capital Building. Plus Katar disliked him and even called him "snobby"....Katar was the snobby one not him as he was just a Secratary.

(OoC: I know, but he wasn't mentioned by name)
Again, Chandler frowned but in addition began glowing red. Being allies with these squids is still something to get used to. "You've made me very angry," he said, somewhat calmly... but also while twitching his head, "Just so you know,"
Chandler gave the Elite a nod and left the office, "Thanks for your... help,"
As soon as Chandler stepped outside, he stopped a passing Elite. He thought to himself, 'Katar is getting old, this job is stressful; he may be in the building relaxing.' "Where do Councillors go to blow off steam?" he asked the Elite.
"Well..." the Elite began, looking over his shoulder, "If you're looking for some dirt on the Councillors, there's a place in the slums where the Sangheili females dance with the Human females. You didn't hear it from me, but a few of the Councillors have 'visited' there,"
Chandler went silent, surprised and utterly speechless, "You've gotta' be shitting me. I meant here, in the building,"
"Oh, more than likely the Gardens, then" the Elite responded, looking embarrassed, "Uh, I haven't ever been to, that place... I heard about it,"
"Right," Chandler nodded, "Just tell me where the Gardens are and I'll forget this discussion ever happened, trust me; you want that."
After receiving directions, Chandler started for the Gardens. He thought about what Cassy said, that this place was once a paradise. He wouldn't know, but he was sure that this place wasn't once what it is now.

"That was unexpected," Zarra giggled nervously, glancing back to watch the two high ranking Elites leave. "And just at the most interesting part of the conversation," she added with a grin, leaning close again.

"Indeed," Anau grinned again, leaning in a giving her a kiss.
The Gardens were a large maze of narrow and winding paths, each one leading through the beautiful native and off-world plants and flowers. Each path eventually leads to it's own small and private piece of serenity. It be a small patch of grass or a bench. Truly a beautiful place that not many Sangheili lay their eyes on... let alone a Human? Through the shrubs Anau spotted a Spartan step off a lift into the Gardens. A Spartan he and Zarra had encountered before.
He took Zarra by the hand and led her to the closest path, "Beautiful here, isn't it? It actually reminds me a little of High Charity."

"High Charity was a beautiful place," said Zarra, "I enjoyed that little walk we had in the gardens there too, back when to me you were just a brave, chivalrous, and very handsome warrior that had rescued me once or twice." She smiled, then looked around, "I still like these gardens better though. It's brighter and the plants are more alive here; real sunlight is something High Charity never had."

"I remember that," Anau chuckled, "And that's true about the sunlight, I think if I spent any more time on that station my skin would go pale,"
***
Chandler stepped out of the lift and was... shocked. The light shun through the windows, giving everything in this room a golden and soft feeling. Chandler had never seen something so elegant, and calm. He had to experience this properly.
He took off his helmet and began strolling down one of the paths, absolutely awestruck.

Once the conversation with his family concluded he looked at the time. " how long did it take to get an elite councilor....did Chandler not make an appointment" thought Otto. He turned the Vulture up and locked up the controls no hoodlem or really anyone should be flying this thing. " hey I am going to check on Chandler be right back" called Otto as he exited the Phantom. He walked inside and wandered a bit until he found Katar's office and his secratary. The office looked empty...maybe he took Chandler for a stroll to talk or the office was not secure enough. " hey where is the Councilor" asked Otto. *** "excuse me human but who are you?" asked the elite.
" Commander Otto von Strauss of the UNSC Navy " said Otto.
" did you by chance use to command a ship called the Ba-var-ia some kind of stealth ship...or a ship that tried to be stealthy"
" yes...why?" asked Otto.
" We rebuilt her for you....the least we could do for you warning us about The Rifters we might of been lured into a trap like you guys were....but your going to need to see the Councilor....he is at The Police Headquaters if you can find your friend that I sent away you can meet with him"
" any idea where he went?"
" no idea"
" can you ask anyother desk or make an all call for him?"
" nope "
" why not ?"
" I don't feel like it now go away"
" it would only take a secound "
" I am sorry but I am having a hard time understanding you and I am on break now sorry"
"well thanks for your help"
Otto sighed and walked away this elite was being difficult he was shocked Chandler had killed this elite but his frustration and shock went away as the feeling of joy overcame him that The Bavaria was ok. He would make sure they both made it through this war and they both got a permenant retirement.
He grabbed a seat that was against a glass wall that showed the gardens and began pondering where Chandler would have went since he was denyed meeting with Katar...who was not here.

Chandler wandered the gardens, gazing up at the rays of light shining through a tree canopy above him. He simply could not comprehend this feeling of peace.
'What kind of name is Chandler, anyway?' '...What kind of name is Grace?
He looked down from the light and rubbed his forehead, this place was... weird. Chandler rounded a corner, his eyes on his feet, and suddenly bumped into a pair of Elites. He looked up and prepared to apologise when one spoke.
"You," the male growled cautiously. Probably an Elite that Chandler failed to kill, so he immediately placed on his helmet and reached over his shoulder, grasping the grip of his rifle. The male then responded by bulking up, and moving in front of the female. Real intimidating...
"I'm just passing through," Chandler explained, "Not looking for trouble,"
"As are we," the male replied, "But our run ins with you have been nothing but trouble," he pointed.
"Look, if I took a shot at you-"
"You stopped me from saving her from a crazed Human with a gun," explained the Elite with a frown and clenched fist.
"Oh right, the Pilot. You gotta' admit, his motives weren't exactly questionable,"
The Elite bared his teeth and flexed his muscles in response, "Weren't questionable? He had a gun to Zarra's head for something I did years ago!"
"It was only about one year at the time," Chandler replied calmly. Zarra. "Her name is Zarra?" he asked, looking at the female partner.
"It is," the Elite responded curiously,"Why?"
"And you're Anau?"
The Elite nodded.
"I've been looking for you two," Chandler smiled, depolarising his visor, "I'm sure you remember the Rifters."
The next few minutes involved the U.N.S.C. Spartan explaining the situation to two seemingly retired Sanghelian combatants.
"It's going to be big, and we need you there; you two specifically,"
Anau took in the Humans words and looked to Zarra, judged her facial expression, and then looked to the Spartan, "How will we be involved?"
"Revealed at a later date. I need you two to come with me to Eden, where everything will be explained in greater detail,"
Anau nodded and looked back to his wife, "What do you think?"

Zarra thought for a moment. "This sounds important," she finally said, "I want to know what's happening at least." She looked to Anau, waiting to see what he thought.

Just as Katar was about to deliver the finishing blow on Elias he was interupted by a comn transmisson. " what I am in the middle of something important" growled Katar at his secratary.
" The human Commander came...the one who's ship we restored and I told him to see you about it...but I figured I would tell you so you could call the shipyard and tell them that the human has come back so they can send him his ship " said the secratary.
" fine " said Katar before he ended the conversation. Katar exited and sealed the execution room door...turning it into another cell. Once it was securly locked with a sheild door and a phyical lock he returned to his office to make a phone call.
Katar went to his desk and grabbed the phone and called the shipyard. " yes he is here....get that grunt crew together...and the pilot ready....and have the ship ready to launch so the human can leave quickly ".

"I'd like to know as well," Anau said, going through his head.
"Perhaps just one last fight?" he asked her with a grin.
