Chandler stood tall and waited for the officer to return with Russell, while waiting, he answered Cassy's question. "We're recruiting ex-Spartans for a mission. Most are here on Sangheilios, and one in particular is here at this base, Russell."
He continued to look forward and responded to her suggestion of what else they could do with their time, "f**k, the rebels."
***
"Sir!" the officer called out to Russell from down the hall, "There's a Spartan team on the landing pad wanting to speak with you!"

Justin stared solemnly at the drab olive paint of the Vulture's wall. He had been studying that certain square foot of metal for the past three hours. The jade-eyed Spartan simply stared at the wall, as if his gaze would make it bend, detonate, or burst into flame. The male Spartan narrowed his eyes, focusing on that one certain speck of paintless metal on it. The lack of order inherent in that seriously bugged him... and Justin continued staring. After several more minutes of this, Justin finally pulled his gaze from the panel of metal plating, and turned to look out of the Vulture. Chandler was still conversing with the two officers, fully armed with deadly paperwork, outside of the Vulture. Justin inhaled slowly, and leaned back. The brown-eyed Spartan pulled one of his machetes out, and began to examine it. As he did so, he started whistling an old tune- he couldn't remember the words, but he remembered that the original artist was a bizzare blonde who had been rumored to be a hermaphrodite about 500 years back, when she was popular. After several more minutes, Justin stopped and exhaled exhaustedly. How much longer would this take? He felt like shit, just waiting around, staring at walls....

(OoC: Moving on.)
After waiting a few minutes, Russell finally appeared out of the base and stood before Chandler. He explained the situation bluntly and then gave Russell a few seconds to take it in. He then gestured for Russell to get in the Vulture, and then turned and assumed he'd follow.
The Vulture then took off from the UNSC base, en-route to its final destination: the Capital Building where several more Spartans and ODST's were being detained. Continently, the Elites that arrested them were on Chandlers list. While the Vulture continued to roar through the Sangheilian sky, Chandler hoped that at heart these Humans and Elites were still soldiers, and not criminals and lawyers.
***
"... I don't think they'll get angry," said Anau, as he leaned in to Zarra's ear as the elevator climbed up the Capital Building towards the garden floor, "If they find us, I don't think they'll get angry," He leaned back and looked behind him; there was a window. He watched as they slowly rose above the city, soon to be entering the clouds. "I remember the last time we were here, they announced the Arbiter. Do you remember?"
***
The Vulture arrived at the tallest building in the city, unannouced. This is where Chandler would find Katar. The Vulture chose one of the landing pads and set itself down. Chandler left the craft and started towards a door leading into the building, passing a pair of Elite security guards rushing over to the craft. "Spartans, get out and stretch your legs, I'll radio when it's time to leave," he said over a comm, "Someone take care of those Elites,"
"Democratically." he quickly added.

Darman shook his head, grogilly clearing the side-effects of sleep. He glanced down the loading ramp, and squinted at the light pouring through it. He stood to leave, but thought better of it when he noticed the security guards rushing to examine the ship. He remained seated, deciding to wait for the rest of the squad to exit. Never could be too careful...

Cassy sighed quietly and lowered her Asssault Rifle. "Chandler, this is stupid." she said to him as she stepped back into the vulture to join Darman. "Wanna help me keep this bird warm?"

Justin rolled off the crate, grinning as Chandler told them to exit. The brown-eyed SPARTAN replied, "Aye aye, cap'n." The pearly armored SPARTAN clomped over to the large bay exit of the Vulture, and hopped out. The Sangheili approaching were Minors... usually not the brightest bulbs in the box. Average is the most common, after all. So the jade-eyed SPARTAN took off his helmet and sauntered over to the huge aliens rushing over. Justin took off his helmet and bowed floridly. The look of utter confusion on the Elite's faces was truly priceless. Justin followed the saucy bow by saying, "We are honored to be permitted to land on this crime-infested, refugee-swamped, truly lovely world!" He grinned, and continued. "You two want anything to drink? I smuggled some rum onboard in a storage crate..."

Otto remained on in the cockpit like he did when they went to retrieve Elias...incase they needed to make a fast get away against criminals as he had heard they were dangerous and heavily armed here. He prayed for the poor sucker who had to deal with them (OOC Katar ). Since he had a break and it was a reasonable hour on Edenn he decided to give the family a talk. He put his helmet back on and sealed the cockpit door it would not drown all the sound out but it would still give Otto the feeling of privacy. (OOC Katar is at the Police Headquaters just making sure you remember that....unless the Police HQ is the tallest but if your at the Capital Building you can find out where he is by his Secratary where he is )

Justin walked over to the Vulture again, and opened the crate he had been sitting on, but didn't look inside. The jade-eyed SPARTAN looked at the Elites as he did so, smiling at them. He couldn't find the contraband rum he had smuggled on, though, and continued to fish around for it. "Just a sec..." he murmured.
((OOC/ Have the two in the crate be drinking it, and just hand him the half-drained, open bottle. =D))

"How could I forget," Zarra laughed, "You tried to nominate me, I'm glad now that it never would have worked." She sighed and nuzzled Anau's shoulder, "That was also one of the first few times you kissed me."

(OoC: Oh snap. That's all right, Specs, we'll pick up Anau and Zarra while we're here and then head to the Police HQ. Meanwhile, let's have a good'ol Spartan-Elite arguent.)
Chandler wasn't wasting any time, he wanted to take the fight to the Rifters now. But no, he's running errands for Sanderson. Again.
He took two flights of stairs, one elevator and interrogated three Elites before finally standing at the door to the office of Katar. He took in a breath and stepped inside; it had been five years, but hopefully Katar remembered him.
"Big place," he murmured, looking down to the end of the hallway like office, his eyes drawn to the large and empty desk. Chandler looked to his left and eyed a secretary, standing from his desk and looking like he was about to explode with rage, "Where is he?"
***
"Hm, that's right," Anau grinned, wrapping his arms around Zarra and leaning in for a kiss, when suddenly the elevator stopped and the doors opened to reveal two very aged councillors, looking inside curiously. Anau's eyes widened, and he quickly put his lips back to normal and parted from Zarra. He cough awkwardly and took Zarra's hand, "We're visiting, someone,"
One Councillor frowned at the couple, yet the other gave the pair an understanding smile.
Anau then led Zarra out of the lift, "Good day," and entered the gardens.

Zaku growled to Katar, "Councilor, may I please kill him now? This... thing is a blight to all in the galaxy. You have seen what it can do- what it has done!" The golden-armored Zealot let his plasma rifle's battery charge slowly. "Well, Councilor? May I kill him, or should I take him outside, so as not to stain the carpets?"
