The Council assembled called by High Councilor Katar on what he called an Emergency Situation and if they did not act today then lives were at stake. "thank you for assembling brothers on such short notice and I assure you in a moment the answer on why I have I called you here. "are you ready" asked Katar over the to Otto. "yeah just give me a moment" said Otto. "He will be in just a moment" said Katar.

"You tell us to hurry then you delay, Katar," growled Councilor 'Ruaal Aureum, "This had better be as important as you say."

Zarra stood by. Watching the meeting nervously, and hoping she and her squad wouldn't have to be called on to speak.

"Politics bore me," a female said from behind Anau, who stood on a varander over looking the city from the Councils building, "What about you?" Anau turned away from his view and looked over his shoulder and eyed the female, she was wearing some kind of robe, silk being the primary fabric and pink being the colour, "I always found politics entertaining," he replied. "Is that so?" she chuckled, stepping out onto the varander, "Then why aren't you in there? Councilor Katar deemed it an emergency situation," "I know," Anau replied, "I just need to be out here right now," The female stepped over to Anau and leaned against the railing beside him. She then looked up and down at his Special Operations armour and sighed, "That doesn't really answer my question," "It's not exactly your business," Anau said, attempting to get the female off the topic. "Hmm," she hummed curiously, "You're trying to avoid someone, other than me of course," she chuckled. "Like I said, it's none of your business," he repeated, trying to remain calm. He had spent enough time thinking about it, he wasnt going to start talking about it.

Councilor Reik Peenh placed his head in his hand and sighed, he thought about telling Katar off, but Councilor Ruaal said what he was thinking.

Councilor Toku 'Vereem sat in his seat. The other Councilors seemed suitably irritated with this, as was 'Vereem. The pearly-armored Sangheili noticed that it was Katar who had walked in, and nodded in greeting. The fellow Councilor had been his friend in the War Academy.
Toku turned his head so that the left side of his face showed- as did the extensive scarring on that side. Four long scars covered the side of his hardened face, and his steel-grey eyes watched his old friend intently. Councilor 'Vereem's armor was somewhat more intricately decorated than his fellow Councilors, and his crest had a slightly more fan-like, ornate appearance. Silver and gold markings covered his armor, and Forerunner Glyphs coated his armguards. Off of his crest hung numerous ornaments, and his beautifully made Energy Sword sat at his waist. The Councilor's energy sword was also different from those of his fellow Councilors- it was basically a pair of Plasma Swords, each facing the opposite direction of the other, and bonded together with a metal grip. Toku was a master of his prototype double-sided blade, and it certainly looked intimidating enough.
Councilor Toku waited for 'Aureum to finish speaking, and then he himself spoke.
"Councilor Katar. I admire your dedication to whatever you are about to show us, but I concur with Councilor 'Aureum in this matter- in fact, I believe all of us do. I certainly hope that your top-priority message is as important as you claim."
The ornately-helmeted Councilor sat back more in his seat, having leaned foward when speaking to his former comrade. Concilor 'Vereem left his elbows on his Gravity Throne, but put his fingers together in front of his face in a show of skepticism. He glanced at the Councilor to his left, Reik Peenh, and rolled his flint-colored irises. The Council was skeptical for the moment.
---------------------
Zaku 'Vudem stood still, off to the left of the Councilors. The huge podium that had the seven Sangheili upon it was adorned with the seven gravity thrones, and the golden-armored Zealot stood, watching, along with three fellow Ship Masters, two Ground Masters, and the Commander of Special Operations. This military group watched in their metal armor, and viewed the assembly. 'Vudem automatically trusted Katar, as the old man had rarely been wrong before.
One of the Ground Masters growled to a Ship Master, "The old fool dragged us here to wait?"
In response, Zaku turned his head and growled, "Hold your tongue, Ground Master. Councilor Katar would never waste the Council's time with something unimportant."

((OoC: Yes. )) "This is serious, Field Master, we have been attacked," Zarra hissed toward the impatient Zealot. Though from her section below, he might not have been able to hear. "The ships of our allies were torn to pieces. A saw this myself."

(OOC ^ What she said)
Otto pushed the door open to the courtroom. He walked slowly to the stand clad in his armor. They had allowed him to keep his sword on due to the cermonial nature of the Sangheli sword. He cleared his throat. "oh wise members of The Council I am afraid I have come here on grim news" started Otto. " you may be wondering what a Spartan is doing here and why UNSC ships..or rather UNSC ship hulls are doing in your orbit" "The reason for this on *insert date of Rifter Attack here* the UNSC space command was attacked by an Alien species known as The Rifters. This was no ordinary it attack they attacked Earth and managed to get our defence mainframe offline. I was in the space battle and we were doing sort of well at first but then we kept losing more and more ships....so I ordered us to jump here to inform you of what happened and also to plead for your assistence in taking out this threat"

The Senior Airman stood at attention beside the Commander. He shifted awkwardly in the presence of what he assumed to be the top-brass of the Sangheili. They hadn't allowed weapons, but he had his pistol concealed under his pant-leg in an ankle holster. The Commander began his speech, and Echo waited to hear the Councilors' response.

Toku was.. stunned by this news. Sure, the humans had never struck him as anything special, but... this was certainly not expected. The usually stern, flinty-eyed councilor's steel-grey eyes swelled, until they looked unnaturally large. He was... dumbstruck, to say the least.
Councilor 'Vatomee interrupted the silence following the SPARTAN's grim report.
"My fellow Councilors," he began- he silently cursed himself for a slight tremble in his first three words, but then his words became firm, if shocked. "I believe that we should send immediate reinforcements to aid our allies. This occurence is horrific, and we must help the UNSC."
--------------
Zaku jerked his head in shock. What were these Rifters? The golden-armored Ship Master blinked several times... This couldn't be good. Not good at all....

"how do we know this human is telling the truth and this is not a trap..how do we know what these "Rifters look like" yelled a Councilor as he rose from his chair and pointed at the Spartan. "why should we be so willing to lose lives to an enmey that has done no harm to us" yelled the Councilor again.

'Ruaal roared in agreement, "We must not delay! Wipe out these fiends that would dare challenge us and our allies!"
* * *
Zarra turned her eyes toward the Councilors' uproarious responses for a moment, then back to the seats behind her. After another moment, she sighed and bowed her head. Among the many faces of the higher ranking Elites, she could not pick out the the one she searched for. She shook her head, trying to clear the emotion from her mind. The human's words appeared to have done enough, but she still might have to speak, and the last thing she needed was to break down infront of nearly all the political and military leaders of Sanghelios.

((OoC: You just waited until I tried to post, didn't you? I barely had two paragraphs, and I don't think you were even here when I logged on. I edited it some, 'Ruaal is just shouting into the chaos now, I guess. I'm going to say Zarra's completely zoned out for the rest of the inconsistancies, 'cause I'm too tired to do any more to it. ))
