Echo pressed his back to the wall and peered around the corner and saw a Rifter running towards them. He ducked back as its beam weapons singed the bulkhead beside him. He grabbed the flare gun hanging from his hip and fired it down the hallway. He heard the Rifter yelp in surprise. He polarized his visor and rolled from his cover, firing his pistol into the blinding light. He waited for the flash to fade, then nodded with satisfaction as the Rifter crumpled to the ground.

(OoC: Alrighty, these Rifters shall be the survivors of boarding party. I apologise for the inactivity)
As the Elite lay dead and floating in the center of the hallway, Anau propelled himself from the wall and tackled the body. He drew his Plasma Rifle and took the dead Elites one. Using the corpse as cover, he pushed away from the wall and floated towards the Rifters, unleashing a barrage of plasma on them. One took several blows the chest and retreated around its corner, Anau then changed targets and fired on the other. By this time, Anau's shields were failing and the Elites corpse had been ripped to shreds. He pushed away the body and grabbed onto the corner of the hall and swung himself around it. He grabbed a Rifter by the throat and turned to face the other surviving one. It fired a few beam like shots from its rifle, piercing the Rifters suit and killing it. Anau then took up the dead Rifters rifle and fired a shot, well, attempted to. The weapon did not work in his hand. He dropped the weapon and looked up at the Rifter that had charged his rifle and took aim.

Zarra pushed off of the wall and collided with the Elite, shoving him out of the way just in time. The beam hit her in the back, but it didn't get through both her shields and armor to harm her. Zarra turned quickly, took aim again, and returned fire, bringing down the second enemy. She sighed as her shields retuned, and gave the other Elite a pat on the shoulder with an approving nod, "Impressive."

Anau huffed and nodded, his way of thanking her for the compliment and for saving his life. The ship then made a violent rumble and light began to shine through every hole in the ship. Purple light. Anau proceeded up the hall the Rifters came from and peered outside a large hole in the Human ships hull. All he could see was a large purple wall. Anau grasped the edge of the hole and floated outside of the ship. He realised they were now inside the Super Station. As the Tug ship reversed out of the hanger, massive doors shut after it and an alarm rang out; "Prepare for gravity restoration," Anau cursed and immediatly pulled himself back into the ship before a high pitched hiss screeched through the ship. Followed by the return of gravity. Anau crashed onto the floor and rolled into the wall. "Ow," he muttered. It would be a few minutes before oxygen filled the hanger, but soon they should get answers from the Humans.

Zarra sat where she had fallen and watched the injured Elite who leaned against the wall, immobile again, nearby, trying not to look at the body of their fallen companion. She turned her eyes toward the floor after a moment and sighed. It had been a simple mission, and all she had managed to accomplish was getting lost and getting at least one of her men killed.
The air in the ship began to return slowly, and was still very thin, but seemed to carry a few sounds. Zarra looked up suddenly, unless she was imagining it, there were weapons firing nearby. She stood and hurried toward the sound, "The others are close, come on," she pointed toward the injured Elite, "Help him, and come on." She hurried down the next hall, then checked around the corner for more enemies, but apparently the Rifters were few in numbers. She waved for her group to follow, and turned down the next hall, following the sound.
As the gunfire grew closer the air in Zarra's helmet grew uncomfortably stuffy, but it still wasn't safe to remove it. Her main tank was running extremely low, and she was tempted to switch to her reserve tank manually insted of waiting for it to switch automaticly. She paused a moment to catch her breath and stumbled dizzily to one of the walls and leaned against it. "I don't seem to be able to switch tanks," she mumbled, with a laugh, after fiddling with the tanks' controls for a few minutes. The valve connecting the reserve tank to her helmet must have been damaged in the fall or when she was hit by the beam of the Rifter's weapon. She shook her head, trying to stay focused, "It shouldn't matter though, the air should be back soon." She tried to take another step and dropped to one knee. "I think I can last that long," she mumbled to herself, "Just a couple minutes."

"keep pressing we are almost there" said Otto as he unleashed the last of his clip into a Rifter. They were almost there the hanger was a turn away where the hallway from the otherside of the ship met this one. All they had to do was clear the last of these borders and turn and they were home free. For all they knew they were humanites last hope. One desperate plee for the Elites assistence...and Otto just knew who to contact. He knew this elite had a reputation for hating humans but he knew this elite would never back down from a fight and he had politcal power. He shock his head at the thought of trusting the poential fate of humanity into the hands of a human hating elite but it was the only contact in the Council or even remotely near the Council he had.

Zarra leaned against the wall a moment longer and tried to walk again, this time making it to the next corner. She wasn't sure how much of the ships rocking was real and how much was only in her mind as she peered around the turn. Her eyes widened. "Door!" she gasped, and took off at a clumsy run. She reached the sealed door but didn't have the strength to open it, insted she fell to the floor, kneeling infront of it and waited for the two minors to catch up.

"Za- Major!" Anau yelled, leaving the minor to lean against a wall and running over to her. "Breath slowly," he said, kneeling down beside her and looking for a way to connect his reserve tank to hers. By this time, the minor had limped his way over to the door and began assessing the door. Anau left Zarra for a moment and joined the minor. They both began tugging, pulling and attempting to slide the door open. Finally after figuring out the Human manual controls, the door slid open and the minor limped inside. He then turned around and picked up Zarra by her arm and pulled her into the airlock. The minor shut the door when they entered and with a quick hiss, oxygen was restored to the small room.

Zarra fumbled with her helmet, finally managing to tear it off. "Gods!" she gasped, panting heavily. She glanced up at the worried Minors, then turned her eyes toward the floor, embarrassed. She was supposed to be leading them not creating more problems. "Thank you," she said weakly, looking up at them again, "I really have no more experience than you when it comes to space combat, I apologize for that."

"Don't apologise," the minor began, "You did as well as any of us would, right?" he asked, looking up at Anau. Anau looked at him and quickly nodded at Zarra, then turning to look at the second door.

Zarra smiled and nodded, but didn't really feel any better. This wasn't the time or place to feel sorry for herself, and she doubted the Minors would want to hear her worries. She stood and went to the door. "Carefully," she warned. The gunfire on the other side didn't sound too close, but it still wouldn't be a good idea to rush out into an area where there might be enemies... or startled humans that might forget they were on the same side.

From a door behind the Rifters (OoC: Otto's Hall), a short, thin, aged man walked into the hall, wearing a blood-spattered lab coat and insulated gloves. In his hands, he held two broken wires, still connected to the power-source in the other room, at arm's length. He touched the ends of the wires to each of the Rifters in front of him; after muscle spasms, each fell to the floor, dead. "Veräterischen Narren, ich spucke auf die Gräter." (Traitorous fools, I spit on your graves)

"danke schon...los gehts" said Otto to the odd man using these wires as weapons. (Thank you lets go). Otto rounded the corner and saw the Major and her Minor Elites at the hanger doors. "glad to see that you made it" said Otto to the Elites.

The Elites that had been with the humans cheered as they saw their lost companions emerge through the door. A few rushed over to help the injured Minor walk. Zarra bowed her head respectfully to the human leader, "Pleased to finally meet you." A few of the Minors looked back into the airlock watching for one more. "Where's Yanr?" asked one, interruping her. Zarra sighed, "He was killed by the Rifters that abushed us on the way, but he was avenged." The dead Elite's friends hung their heads and wandered back to the rest of the group. "I would like to hurry and get off this ship," said Zarra turning back to the human leader, "Are your men ready to leave?"
