Sanheilos shone beneath the Radiant Jewel, Ship Master Zaku 'Vudem's personal Assault Carrier. The huge ship hovered over the planet- their scheduled touchdown would be in two hours and forty-three minutes, giving them time to prepare for landing. In the command module, the crew seemed somewhat more relaxed because they were back home again. One of Sangheilos' moons drifted by, and colonies were visible on it....
Zaku swiveled his command chair to see Zarra near the entrance of the command module. He growled in his typically gravelly voice, "'Yairum. I haven't been able to commend you and Anau on your performance during the Tower Siege. Nevertheless, a job well done. We only suffered minimal casualties, but I still have no idea where the Arbiter disappeared to..."
He noticed he was rambling, and immediately closed his quadruple-mandibled mouth. He turned to listen to the Councilor. Personally, Zaku thought that Katar was somewhat old-fashioned, but he kept these insubordinate thoughts to himself. "I come from the surface of Sangheilos," he growled. "'Vudem family territory is rather expansive, as I come from a distinguished family... Of course, the 'Yamos were one of the first families to take land rights on the moons, and thus famed in their own right."

Zarra bowed her head slightly, "Thank you, sir." She waited a few minutes, but the Elites on the bridge were only chatting. 'Oh well, it wasn't important anyway,' she thought as she left. 'Now, there was something else I needed to do... A helmet, that's it. I need a new helmet.' She hurried off down the hall, hoping they still had one that matched the rest of her armor. The last time she had to replace her armor the only set that fit her was a set of blue Minor armor that she had to wear until a set with the correct colors arrived almost a week later. A helmet wasn't one of the parts of a set of armor that had to be specifically tailored to fit her, though, so it shouldn't be too hard to replace.

Anau huffed and lifted up his two new Plasma Rifles. "These are good," he said to the Elite behind the desk. He held one up into the light to inspect it's battery when he noticed the glowing eyes of a Kig-yar in the vent. "A rat!" Anau called, dropping one of his rifles and punching open the vent. He took the creature by the neck and dragged it out, he tossed the creature onto the floor and towered over it. "Argh, what is that stench? What were you doing in that vent?"

Zarra entered the armory, avoiding what was apparently some sort of argument between a Spec-Ops Minor and a Jackal, and marched up to the desk. "I've lost my helmet," she told the Elite behind the desk, "A Brute took it." "Name?" "Zarra 'Yairum." "One moment," said the Elite, leaving the desk and entering a storage room.

Anau looked up from Jackal and looked over his shoulder. It was Zarra, thank the Gods for the helmet. He kneeled down and picked up his other rifle and turned from the Jackal. She would have to find out eventually, but now wasn't right. He attached both of the rifles to his thighs and approached Zarra, this should be interesting. He saluted her, for the first time, and definitely not for the last. He lowered his arm and left the armoury, now began the portion of his life where orders would be shouted at him, not from him.

((OoC: Anau caught him and pulled him out. If there's any particular reason why you don't want him to get caught yet, we could edit the posts, but it would have been nice to know a little earlier, before we added more posts to it. )) Zarra gave the Minor a smile and a nod, then watched him leave. There was something familiar about him. He had apparently recognised her and knew her rank. She shrugged. She had probably met him once during training or a battle, there were alot of Minors. "Here," the Elite behind the counter handed Zarra a helmet. She smiled, it was the right color. "You're at the limit of replacements per year; this will come out of your pay." the Elite told her, "Try to be more careful. Armor isn't cheap." "I know," Zarra grumbled, trying on the helmet. It fit. The only problem was what to do with it now. She couldn't take it back to the room without her mother seeing it. She sighed and sat down, turning the helmet over and over in her hands as she thought.

"yes of course I should of expected that much from one such as yourself" said Katar. "Tell me Shipmaster you are allowed to speak freely here as I certainly won't tell the Council but did you like your life before or after he allied with the humans" asked Katar. "I think you know my answer but that may because most of my life I have been raised by the old ways and all of my glory days occured then...now I am simply waiting for death to find my hideing spot". "Shh Katar you are in enough trouble for your conservative thinking" said Inwa as she smacked Katar. "Please the Councils hounds are elsewhere in the ship...plus if they do hear this then they are intrudeing on my privacy....I could care less if I am exiled to the far reaches of for still holding on to better days...or have them demote me I am tired of doing paperwork and plans that are never used"

The golden-armored Zealot turned his gravity chair to look at the conservative Councilor with an incredulous look. To be perfectly honest, the white-armored Sangheili was the one who was in danger of being branded a traitor. The ambitious Ship Master replied, "Well, that's a tough question. I enjoyed the stability of the Covenant, but the Prophets obviously betrayed us, the Brutes wanted us dead, and really, the Covenant ended up, in my opinion, a hell-hole with the facade of a religious group. I truly have to say that allying with the humans gave me a new set of ideas to combine with the old, and I enjoy the new. However, I really have to say that the new government has a somewhat chaotic political system..."
"However," he continued, "I believe that these new times are preferable to the old."
The golden-armored Ship Master looked out the huge window. Sangheilos crept closer, slowly filling the window. 1 hour, 28 minutes left. The Zealot looked at Katar again, "But please. Don't speak of your conservative views around my second-in-command, the Ultra Woren 'Xeruk. He is an incredible officer, but he is very opposed to the old ways, because his parents both died in the Covenant Civil War."

"fine...I have other matters to attend to...turn me in if you want I honestly don't care...even if I was concerned who are they going to believe one of their fellow Council members or someone else..just as long as my clans honor is not harmed" said Katar as he walked off the bridge. Inwa remained on the bridge and she just stood their standing. "I am sorry for your lost I too have lost a loved one...the one who raised me my brother...and The Councilor has lost many friends and comrades in his years of command how he remains so calm most of the time I will never know...sometimes I hear him reciteing war poetry or The Writ of Union to himself..you should ease drop sometime it is quite amuseing..as long as you don't get caught" said Inwa.

Krot, out of the daze from being grabbed without warning, mumbled something to the effect of, "The latrines are done, [sarcasm]Sir[/sarcasm]."
Daday, hearing Krot's voice, makes her way towards the noise.
