The battle damaged M831 TT Warthog pulled into the SPARTANbase. Mitch sighed as soldiers armed with AK-74s focused on his head. He stepped out, took off his helmet and tossed it aside and put his hands up. "Please, don't shoot. I am UNSC SPARTAN-IV Mitch-105. Part of the EXECUTIONER project." he was tired, hungry, and needed medical assistance. He had scars all over him.
There were eight soldiers standing behind Charlie. "Did ya hear? They found a SPARTAN. Said he was part of some program. 105." They proceeded to outside.

Russell found a beeping on his motion tracker as he delivered the needed "meds" to Jenny and Otto's room, knocked, and ran off... it was a green beeping... another SPARTAN. He ran towards it to see it was none other than Mitch. He ordered the soldiers to stand down. "Well, I thought I was gonna be the only SPARTAN-II here. And I was right. Welcome to your new temporary "home" Mitch."
(OoC: Welcome back Mitch! We're not fast-forwarding yet, Indy still wants to drive Zarra crazy for a bit longer, I believe.)

((OoC: Well, I'm not exactly driving her crazy anymore, but I'm still in the middle of something, so no fast-forwarding! Wait til the end of the day they're on, like you said, that will give me enough time to finish what I'm doing, and give Mitch, and anyone who's joining late, time to catch up. Why such a rush to fast-forward anyway? We'll be skipping the best part. The fun part of an end of the world story is watching what kind of crazy things the characters do when it finally sinks in that they might have only weeks to live. How they start prioritizing things: putting aside old rivalrys or finally getting revenge, suddenly deciding to be religious or trying to have as much fun as possible no matter who gets hurt, etc. (I get a kick out of psychology) ))

((OoC: No, no, my point is that I would like to avoid skipping around as much as possible. Like 1,2,3,4... not 1,2,15,21. I want to show what happens between the 2nd and the 15th and what happens between the 15th and 21st. Having big gaps in the story of a thread really messes things up for me because it's hard to figure out what my characters have done and how they've changed in the time between.))

(OoC: She has a point. Big gaps in a story line are like vacuums, and if we don't fill those vacuums with the same story, pretty soon we will have an RP that doesn't make any sense!)
Wolfgang Tolman awoke in his bunk. He felt uneasy, so before leaving the room, he checked to make sure nothing was missing from is trunk. He pulled out his MP-40, an heirloom in his family since his grandfather returned home from the Second World War.
Ever since receiving it, Wolfgang has collected WWII era weapons, especially submachine guns. After checking his PPsh-41, Thompson, MAS-38, and Sten Mark I. Everything seemed to be in order, but something seemed wrong. Things had been different ever since those "People" who claimed to be from the future arrived. There seemed to be an air of uneasiness, he couldn't quite put his finger on it... After locking his collection away tight, he grabbed his HK and went to walk off his insomnia.

((OoC: The thing that will most likely make it get out of control is skipping around. Then we'll have people who weren't paying attention and don't know we skipped a few days, people who want to do flashbacks to cover the skipped days (which could confuse more people), people who won't post for a long time cause they can't figure out what their character should be doing, etc. It will be chaos. Just let us figure out something to do that won't really effect the plot while you're gone. We won't let it get out of control.))

"I can't believe you are actually here," said Anau as held her. He pushed her away so he could look at her face once more before hugging her again. "I thought I had lost you,"
Charlie overheard the soldiers behind her and sighed. She stood from the table, kicking her chair about a meter back and scooped up her helmet. As she walked outside, she placed her helmet back on and proceeded towards the gate.

The squads commandder walked up to Mitch and rifle butted him across the face. "Sturdy son of a bitch, he is." he said, taking another puff of his cigarette. Mitch spat out some blood and glared at the commander. "Alright! Take him to the interrogation rooms."

Zarra nodded, "I was truly frightened. I didn't know where you were, or if you were safe. I still don't even know where I am, or what's happening. I just know it's better here than wandering around lost in that city for days." She looked up at him, "When did you get here? Have you been here long? How did you find me?"

Russell walked up to the Commander and ripped the 416 out of his hands. "He is friendly, just a bit more advanced. I see you doing this again, you're out of this damn base, comprendé?"

The Commander ripped his weapon out of Russell's hands and gestured for his squad to back off. "I'm sure," he said, "Back to the Barracks!" he barked, and left Mitch and Russell.
"f**k that hurt!" Mitch said, picking up his helmet and shouldering an Assault Rifle. "Good to see you, man."
