There's got to be some sort of requirement for word limit, or we'd have a tiny profile.
I'm more in favour of 25 which, having filled out the form, isn't really that much, no?

I think it should be 25 without the form as I don't think that's to hard because really is 25 words that much.

I just don't think how many you use should be important as long as you get all the necessary information across.

You can't get a necessary history across without basic information, imo. Technically, with no limit, you could ignore a biography completely. Arguably, the history's the most important section of a profile.

Well, the way I create characters is completely different. I never start out with a biography, and it's never my focus. I just add it in later to make the character more interesting. Personality is what I start with. If I'm going to put alot of work into a character, I have to write with the character for months before I get much more than name, age, species, etc. and a basic personality. For example: I created my best character, Zarra around mid to late 2007, I had the character's personality completely put together and was able to write well using her as a main character toward the start of 2008, I began roleplaying with her in April, and I didn't even start thinking of a history until the summer of that year. I didn't put together a real biography for her until January of this year. And Zarra was already interesting enough and had a well developed personality long before that. So really, to me at least, the biography is just some details that make a character more a little more believeable. Not that important.

So personality can equal 25 words too...

A personality section could be way over 25 words for me. That will work then. Personality or biography, what ever is prefered by the character's creator. This should stop bugging me now.

Hehe, alright. Seems good enough. I'll leave this open for a while, in case marine/jared or whoever posted wants to add on to this.
