Russell said to Chandler, "Erm, the only way Engineers could cause harm is constantly repairing things. Besides, he repaired Mitch."
He asked the Engineer politely if he could repair his armor.

"Leave it!" Mitch said, grabbing Chandler's gauntlet. "It saved me, fixed my armour, and plus, we might need to get into something," he explained, "So sod off, and leave it alone. Let it go about it's business." He polarized his visor and glared at Chandler for a moment, then went let off.
The Engineer gave a Cheerful cry and began to fix whatever damage Russell's armour had.

"Go." Matt said, ducking his head and sprinting out. Dropping to one knee he strafed a line of Grunts, dropping them, as he dodged around a Brute and sprinted his way onwards. Speed was of the essence here, not necessarily killing all the enemies yet. As an afterthought, he spiked a grenade onto the Brute, who roared once before being blown apart. Matt grinned behind his helmet, before dropping to the ground as a Banshee wheeled down, strafing the ground beneath. "Second run..." Matt breathed, and, as it shot past overhead, he punched it with a fist. His armour absorbed the impact, but the Banshee was barely damaged; merely knocked off course. "And again..." Matt grimaced, and drew a plasma grenade. Leaping to one side to avoid the blasts, he hurled the grenade. It stuck fast to the Banshee's side, slightly below the left wing.
And then exploded in a flash of brilliant blue.
The Banshee literally blew apart at the seams, sending bits of superheated metal in different directions. As a few, small pieces struck Matt, he shielded his visor with an arm. There was a roar from behind him as a Brute that'd been attempting to attack him from behind, was struck, allowing Matt to drop him before running onwards. He was halfway there now, and there were three Brutes on a ridge before him. He had no idea how the others were doing, but he'd seen at least one blown off the side to crash to death below. Matt sidestepped between two Brutes, allowing a SPARTAN behind to distract them as he dropped the third with a blast to the back of the head. There was an opening in a cylindrical shaped building - that was it! A Brute chieftain stood in the center, and Matt swore. "Come over here, Brute." He tried to goad the Brute over. "No? You don't want to?" He sighed.
"Fine, we'll play it your way then."
Matt picked up a Brute shot from the ground, and hurled it at the Brute. The Brute stumbled, and Matt hurled in a plasma grenade. As the Brute clawed at it, Matt threw in a fragmentary grenade, the plasma grenade going off shortly before the fragmentary. When the dust settled, the Brute was dead. "Got it!" Matt cried, leaping inside. Setara appeared on the AI pedestal next to the computer inside, and Matt grinned. "Shall I kill it, Chief?" She asked. "Kill it." He confirmed. There was a hum, and Matt felt the whole building shudder. "That's got it." He smiled. "Now destroy the system." It was the work of a few moments for Setara, and Matt quickly retrieved her and put her in the back of his helmet, before plugging a grenade into the computer and stepping back. A few seconds later, it was destroyed.
"Good work."
Many of the SPARTANs had reached the tower room he was in, and he nodded to them. "Our area of the shield's been shut down. No word from the other two teams yet, but I'm guessing that the Elites are the furthest out. I want you guys to go down and reach them and then, if you can, help them. Half of you find the Elites. Half the ODSTs. See what can be done." Matt shouldered his weapon, and stepped over to the gravity lift. "Meanwhile." He said, nodding to them. "I'm going Prophet hunting." There was a flash as he stepped backwards and was whisked away in a flash of fluorescent blue light, the hum of the lift all around. "Reckon you'll get him, Chief?" Setara asked. "No, but we can damn well try." He heard her ironic sigh from within his helmet, and smiled; it was good to have her back.
"Well, there's nothing like positive thinking."
((OOC: In character, the Prophet escaped. I'm going away, however, so this'd explain why Matt wasn't with the other SPARTANs. Have fun while I'm away.))
