I will have the questions tomorow but I will give you the suggestion:
Well seeing as we had confusion about ranks I would suggest having your charcters rank assigned by an admin if you don't want to then just have someone or an admin must approve your charcter before you can use it.
And all of these will be about ranks and stuff?

It's simple enough already. You already ask for a major character as it is. There's no reason why you should have to ask for an ODST or Elite or something. Just make sure you ask for higher ranking characters. And there's no way we'll have some approval policy or anything. If there's an issue, we'll flag it. Thanks for the suggestion, all the same. What were the questions?

People have usually had their characters for a while and have already picked out a specific rank. They don't want to have their character altered. However you can't show up make a character that is a general or something and expect everyone to do what you say. And you can't create your own army or fleet and go off and have your own adventure- save that for a fan fiction. If you create a high ranking character you will have to fully cooperate with the admins, and you will be expected to sit through all the boring meetings that the high ranking characters have. High ranking human characters usually participate in battles from a distance so don't expect to get too close to the action. (Elite leaders though are expected to fight.)
In short, don't make a high ranking character if you can't follow directions, and can't handle all the responsibilities, (and boring dialogue).

Per Indy.
Ask an Admin if you want a high ranking character.
If you want just a general character, go ahead.
If in doubt, ask.
Any more questions?

Wait one last unrelated to ranks question is the Ancient Rome roleplay going to start if not I suggest moving it to out of universe and creating a new RP based off another game or another historical one

Yes, it is going to start soon.
The second I find someone who wants to be Chieftain of the Barbarians, and they create a profile, we'll start.
That's about the purpose of this thread, then. Lock.
