(If you guys don't mind. I asked and Danny said I can join in. I read over what is going on for the most part.)
Another set of Pelicans land as Delta disembark from it and start to set up. Gunnery Sergeant Jared Black. He looked through his helmet as he loved to be one of the first to be on the ground but he was here now and saw that things were going good in his eyes as we were moving forward.
Waving his hand as the warthogs ordered were unloaded with the extra ammo needed. Soon he jumped into the passanger seat and just pointed forward as the driver guns it.
Going through the massive blown out doors and pass the broken bodies of brutes and a few young men that just met there end too soon. Soon enough as they drove in the gunner opens fire seeing right up a head the wave of brutes just in front of them cutting them down with hall of plasma and the smell of Ozone filling the air.
Propping himself up on the dash with his left leg he fires his Battle Rifle into small pockets of the enemy as he calls out, "Keeps going. We need to give them covering fire!" Soon the warthogs were in covering the others as Jared.
"Someone request some ammo and fire power?" he called over the raido as he keeps his head down and fires right into what the gunners didn't kill.
(Well did I cover the two warthogs and ammo for you Mitch?)

"Now's our chance!" Charlie yelled. She ran closely behind Mitch and fired on the Brutes and Grunts who were now distracted by the Warthogs. She looked up and noticed Brutes and Jackals stood on top of the lift and fired down on the marines from above. "Rush!" she yelled, running in front of Mitch and taking over as point man. She began jogging up a small spiral stair case, which steps were much higher than a normal staircase, that would lead to the lift. The lift came into view and without hesitation, she charged and Jackal and rammed it off the lift into the deadly crossfire below. A Brute turned and Charlie fired several bursts and the beasts neck. It fell, but the other aliens turned to meet her.

Mitch met up with Charlie and noticed three Brutes ready to kill her. Without hesitation, and ran and pulled out his combat knife, jumped, and shoved it into the back of a Brute's head. "See you in hell." he muttered.

"ma'am with due respect we can't hold on out here forever...what the hell is that" said Klaus. "all I can see are grunts sir piece of cake" said an odst. "nevermind but hurry up anyway incase they send a real threat" said Klaus. (ooc how wrong they are...not even 5 Grizzlys can take on an army of grunts...just motivation to keep things moving ...or to have them fall back inside)

Jared didn't notice the trouble that was going on he was having his own. The gunners kept up the volley of fire that kept them from being surrounded. "CORPOREAL KILL THOSE JACKALS! UP HIGH!" He cried out as the Corporeal behind the gun spun around aiming up sending a hell of AA fire ripping right through the flesh and blowing out the shields the Jackles held without much effort.
A shot hits the warthog behind Jared as he pointed where the shot came from and fired killing a Jackal Sniper with the three round burst.
"Ma'am, we'll handle the rest. Your people need to keep going. Aw shi~" Jared spoke over the radio to Charlie but didn't cut off quickly enough as he started to take fire and had to rush behind the warthog to take cover. Yet the gunner wasn't so lucky as he was hit with several shots of hot plasma and fell right in front of the gunny. Without much thought he jumped up mounting the gun and started to take over firing the AA gun.

"God speed troopers!" Charlie replied over an open comm, she quickly pulled herself off the lift floor and ran over to the control panel. She waited for more ODST's to join her and then she punched the panel until the lift began to ascend. They were safe for now. As the lift ascended up the shaft, she walked over to Mitch and helped him off the floor. "Thanks for that."

Mitch grunted as Charlie helped him up. "Anytime, Charlie." he replied. He checked his SMG's and strapped them to his thighs. Then he took his combat knife out of the Brute's naeck and kicked the corpse. "So, ready for what's up top?"

As the Alpha and Beta teams went up the lift. The Gamma and Delta teams kept on taking on heavy fire and kept the covenant busy.
Jared kept up keeping the upper floors overhead clear while the second "Hog" kept the main area clear. Over the short time a brute roared out and started to charge. Going berserk charging right into the hall of firer seemingly unaffected by the bullets ripping into its flesh. The second gunner noticed and stopped firing to set back up but it was too late.
With superhuman strength the Brute flips the first warthog that had Gunny Jared in the back tossing him out across the ground with a bone crashing thud as the hog was on its side and the Brute finally dieing after being filled full of AA fire from the second.
Stunned and dazed Jared looks around as he was checking himself over as he saw the face of a Navel Medic that braved the fire to check up on. He shoved him a side as he just muttered through his cracked helmet, "I'm fine..." He got to a knee and picked up the nearest battle Rifle and joined back into the fight.
'They better hurry...we can't hold this point forever,' he thought as he fired behind the flipped warthog. Yet as he fired the plasma fire stopped suddenly. "This is not good..." He soon added behind his helmet in a mutter as it was a much needed break to see to the wounded and check the dead but this would mean that the other two would be in deep trouble. Maybe.

"Always," Charlie smiled. She returned to the control panel and watched as the lift came close to the top floor. She banged the panel with her rifle and the elevator came to a sudden halt before the floor. "Keep quiet," she whispered. "If anyone has any flash bangs left, toss'em," A few ODST's stepped forward and threw their grenades up and out the shaft. Charlie hit the panel again and the lift continued and arrived at the top floor, moments after the flash bangs detonated. "Off the lift! Move it!" she ordered, he voice echoing through the surprisingly empty room. After waiting for the sound of gun fire, Charlie lowered her rifle and moved into the center of the floor. "No Covenant?" an ODST asked, stepping next to Charlie. "Maybe no bodies home," Charlie replied. The battle raging below echoed up the shaft, but other than that, there was nothing. "Spread out," she ordered. She and the ODST walked up the center of the room while others took up their positions. She arrived at a control panel, very advanced Covenant tech, definitely not Brute technology. The panel rested above the ground before an large glass window, over looking the Brute city. "Storms coming," muttered the ODST. Charlie looked up from the panel and noticed thick black clouds in the distance. "Let's focus on getting this shield down," Charlie replied. "Right," the ODST said. "Yo Swag, get over here," A scrawny ODST came jogging over, his armour barely fitting him. "What are you, twelve?" Charlie asked. "Eighteen, ma'am," Swag replied. "Bullshit," Charlie replied with a laugh. "Slice that panel, we got a shield to disable," the ODST that called him over said. "Not a problem," Swag replied, kneeling down in front of the panel and taking out a bag of tools. "Can you get in?" Charlie asked, kneeling down beside him. "This is high level stuff, but if we're lucky-" he said, beginning to cut through the panel. "The wiring wont be."

Mitch stood beside Charlie, watching Swag mess with the panel. "Ten Credits says he cracks the lock in under five minutes." Mitch said. "I'll take that action." said an ODST named Wyoming. "You're on." Mitch replied. He looked around the dark empty room. "Hey guys. I found a hallway." "Ya, the universe is filled with them. Tell us when you see something wierd. Like a blue whale." replied Wyoming, laughing at Mitch's discovery. "Hey screw you man. I'm gonna go take a look..."

"Mitch, stay here." Charlie ordered. "Marine, shut it," she told Wyoming. "Swag, how's that panel?" "Just about through," Swag grunted. "These tools wont cut through shit, some Elites must have set this up a few years ago, you know, when they were friends." he chuckled. "So what's the plan?" he asked while cutting the square shaped hole in the panel. "Play with the wires until the shield goes down, then blow the panel to hell," Charlies replied. "Nice," Swag replied with a laugh. He tossed aside his slicing tool and began yanking the metal until it broke off. "Eureka," he cheered quietly. "How does it look?" Charlie asked, as Swag peered inside with his flashlight. He took back up his slicing tool and began cutting through various wires. "Well there's your problem," Swag chuckled, slicing away. "And this will bring down this shield?" Charlie asked. "As long as the Elites and Spartans follow through, yeah, this'll about do it," he replied. "Great," Charlie smiled. "Marines, back to the lift, we're about to wrap this up!" she ordered. The soldiers casually began walking back the lift and Charlie turned back to Swag. "Alright, this should do it, this should do it!" Swag began cheering, cutting ferociously through the wires. The lights in the room suddenly dimmed and the sound of once unnoticed electrical equipment hummed slowly to a stop. "What did that do?" Charlie asked, looking curiously around the room. "I think I just killed the power to the tower," Swag replied. "Is that it, are we done?" the ODST asked. Charlie turned and looked at the marines waiting for them by the lift. "Yeah, we're done. Lets set charges to the panel and get the hell out of here," she said, then turning back to Swag, Mitch and a hand full of others. "Alright, lets do this," Swag said, clapping his hands together and reaching into a duffel bag full of explosives. "Do you want a dramatic boom, or a noisy one?" he asked with a smirk. "Can't we have both?" an ODST asked, chuckling. "I don't even want dust left behind, Swag," Charlie said, stepping in front of the window and gazing outside. "Aye, aye," he replied.
A few moments later Swag stood up, holding the detonator in his hand. "Ready to go," Charlie turned and smiled at the kid. "Good job," He smiled under his helmet and nodded respectfully, but then his body language changed, he stood in shock. Charlie turned and looked outside the window. A pair of Banshees had swooped out of the clouds and approached the tower. "They might just be flying by," she said, trying to assure the men. The two Banshees suddenly released their payload, aimed directly for them . "Cover!" Charlie cried, leaping to the floor. The two Banshee bombs struck the glass window, tearing it open and sending glass shards in all directions. Charlie pushed herself up off the floor and assisted another marine. "You still got the detonator?" she asked a disoriented Swag. He looked at his hand clenching the device and nodded rapidly. "Good, lets get back to the lift," Charlie said. Though she wasn't expecting it, she wasn't surprised with the arrival of two Phantoms. They both hovered outside the window, their Plasma cannons and turrets roaring. Charlie immediately turned and ran for the hallway Mitch had discovered. "Go down the lift, that's an order!" Charlie ordered over the radio, dodging plasma fire and leaping into the safety of the hallway. She got a staticy reply until finally a marine spoke up. "The lift wont work!" The power was out, those marines were going to be slaughtered. "Get up here, now!" Charlie ordered over the radio, but got no reply. "Shit, Swag, blow the panel!" Charlie yelled at the small group of surviving marines in the hall. "Swag!" She pushed her way through the group and saw him cower behind the towers control panel. Luckily the Phantoms hadn't noticed him, they were too busy plasma burning the dead on the lift. "Swaggy!" the ODST cried. "We gotta get him out of there!" he yelled, turning to Charlie. She stepped to the corner of the hall and peered around at the Phantoms, a brute arming a plasma canon immediatly noticed and fired on her.
Swag looked down at his chest, the plasma had burnt straight through his armour. He concealed the wound with his hand and looked at the others in the hall. They were trying to figure out what to do. He then looked to the men that had died on the lift. He felt responsible, he had cut the power and trapped them there. He held the detonator up and looked at the group in the hall. He flicked up the safety cap and primed the detonator.
"What the hell is he doing?" the ODST asked. "Bloody hell marine. Go, get to the end of the hall!" Charlie ordered, following the group as they ran. "No Swags, don't do it!" the ODST yelled, reaching out for him desperately from the hall. Charlie looked back and saw him, she immediatly turned from the group and ran back to the ODST. "Come on!" she yelled, wrapping her arm around him and pulling him away from Swag. The charges detonated and the force pushed the ODST and Charlie to the ground. The two Phantoms could be heard leaving the tower, they had failed. "Command, tower three is down," she groaned over the radio. She immediatly cut the comm and climbed to her feet, using the wall for support. "Mitch, now you can take a look."

Mitch ripped a glass shard from his stomach. "What about our exit?" he asked, while his visor polarized so everyone could see his face. He looked around, Wyoming was killed from the explosions force, and they had about 8 or 9 ODSTs left, plus him, he wasen't sure. "Is Lachlan close by? We're gonna need to get the wounded outta here." Mitch didn't wait for an answer, he ventured down the pitchblack hallway with VISR mode on. he ventured alone and made it to a room filled with prison cells. All were empty. Except for one. It carried four of the same species. "Hey! Charlie! Come check this out!"

"Move up," Charlie ordered the remaining marines. She entered the dungeon like room and approached the cell Mitch was inspecting. Four Elites were inside. "Well, this is unexpected."
(OoC: As for our exit, to give the guys at the bottom floor something to do, could you try find something like a 'Emergency power generator' that'll restore power to the tower only, not the shield?)
