Role Play rules:
Whilst, once again, here at Project RP we aim to ensure you have an ejoyable, fun Role Playing experience without too many limitations, we also have a duty to ensure that we keep a high standard of Role Playing here, so that everyone can enjoy it and get the best from Project RP. Therefore, there are a number of Role Play rules in addition to the Site Wide Rules.
- Please try and keep OOC posting in an RP thread to an absolute minimum; whilst it's obviously needed, the main purpose of this site is to RP, and we have a messaging feature so that OOC messages can be kept to a minimum.
- Whereas obviously profanity, when not used to be offensive to other members, is unavoidable in the OOC boards, please try and keep it out of the Role Play, regardless of who your character is. Although cussing such as 'damn' and 'bloody' are obviously acceptable, please no more than 'shit'.
- Please steer clear of excessive sexual content, gore and other sensitive subjects such as rape. We don't allow paedophila in an RP sense here in any sort of explicit way; please keep it to an absolute minimum.
- Respect should be offered to all members in Role Plays, regardless of their status.
- When making a thread, use (Open) after the title to indicate anyone may join, (ask) to indicate all members wishing to join must ask the creator of the thread, (invite) to indicate that only those invited by the thread creator may join and (Closed) to indicate that no new members may join the thread. Please respect what the thread creator has put.
- We use formal Role Playing here, so please write posts as if you are the character, and as if you're writing it in the style of a novel.
- God modding is not allowed; saying you 'shot him in the head', 'grabbed his blaster off him' or 'stabbed her in the gut' comes under this.
- Mary Sues/Gary Stu's are not allowed on the site. These are heavily god-modded characters, who're far stronger than anyone else and can never be harmed.
- The administrators reserve the right to enforce these and, if needs be, punish those who don't follow them.
