The emptiness of space never seized to send Razo's mind wondering about what could really be out there... obviously the human SPARTAN proved that theory to be correct when he incinerated a large reason of space in what seemed to very long ago. The closing days of the Covenant were passed and the Elites had finally claimed their birthright as free warriors, the freedom they new experienced crossed Razo's mind on a daily basis, having lived through the final years of the Covenant, Razo knew all too well it had been necessary.
He remembered the incident quite well, it had been unforgettable, watching all the countless years of service to the Covenant and especially the Prophets just die in the few words spoken by the Prophet of Truth. The brutes... vile, deceptive creatures, had taken their place by the Prophets side, leaving the Elites with nothing but betrayal... their downfall, had also been necessary.
While Razo had no dispute working along side those of which his species had fought for oh so long, others did not agree with himself and the many others who believed as Razo did, this he knew first hand. However, all Sangheili knew it was necessary to make the alliance between their once enemies... the Elites were alone, the humans needed assistance... it was a scenario that greatly benefited both Mankind and Sangheili alike.
Razo turned from the large, shielded opening on the bridge of the Vengeance and thus dismissed his thoughts. The several Elite's patrolling the deck all had a purpose here, one which contriubuted to running the massive Star Cruiser that had been named the Vengeance upon Razo's assuming of the command. He made his way through the bridge and stopped beside the door, watching as it opened to reveal a tall, battle hardened Elite that he had known since childhood. Razo outstretched his arm and clasped his own against the others in a respecfull greeting.
"Welcome, brother. It has been too long."

"Indeed brother, much to long." replied Anpe, releasing his grip on Razo's hand, so relieved and at the same time delighted to finally see Razo.
Anpe could not believe that Sanghelios was still here, still in one piece. He thought for sure it had been destroyed. He still remembers the day he heard about the possibility of his homeland being wiped from the universe, it still makes his spine quiver and bring a tear to his eye.
He scanned the perimeter, taking in the atmosphere, looking at the weary, yet somehow comforting faces of all the elites surrounding him. It already felt like he was at home.
He turned to face Razo. " So... when are we leaving??"

"Indeed brother, much to long."
Razo nodded in respect, turning and walking back down the bridge with Anpe at his side immediately afterward.
"So... when are we leaving??"
Razo came to a halt as they approached the shielded opening once again.
"Immediately." Razo simply stated, watching as the lights of the stars around him disappeared from sight.

"Immediately." Anpe nodded in acknowledgment as he stared down towards the stars that soon vanished before his eyes.
He looked up and smiled to himself, every time he boards this ship, he feels is as one of the highest honours. He has seen very long, tiring and devoted hours of battle, and to be here on the ship means he has earnt a rest.
He followed his brother Razo deeper into the ship, both setting down next to each other on chairs. They both looked into each others eyes, knowing it was going to be a long voyage back to their homeland.
And at that moment, Anpe realized what was really happening, it was really happening. He was finally heading back to his homeland Sanghelios, although he didn't believe it. The recurring memories of the planet he grew up on, the memories of the place he was bred and raised from birth, he would never forget.
Staring out into the uninhabited space, where nothing but stars shone brightly, Anpe contemplated the future. He wondered whether it will be the same in a couple of years, allied with the 'pigs' they call humans. Anpe despised them, loathed them, hated everything about them, but loved his race and his culture too much to betray them. Anpe hated everything about the humans that he now must call his 'allies', but he somewhat respected them and is growing much more tolerant towards them, due to the fact that they have helped the elites fight the off the scum that had betrayed them.
Anpe looked to the right of him, noticing that Razo had become lost in his thoughts, so he stood up and walked towards the window. He stared out of the window, looking towards his home planet Sanghelios, which had just become visible. He was almost home.

Razo rose from his seat that overlooked the bridge as it lowered slowly to the ground and made his way over to Anpe's side.
The damage that had been inflicted on their homeworld by the Brutes was apparent even from space. All Elites sought solitude on their homeworld, when the Brutes had attacked it, the Sangheili had fought relentlessly to purge the beasts from their world. Since then, Sangheilos had been under indefinite repair, as had the ships that had fought the Covenant fleets that had taken orbit. But those times were past, the present was at hand... it was all that mattered.
Razo made his way off the bridge, knowing Anpe would follow when he was ready. He made his way through the ship to the Hangar where a Phantom was preparing for launch, it's dark metallic armour was glimmering brightly from the purple light radiating from the shield defending the hangar. Razo made his way to the ship and entered the gravity lift that had been stationed beneath it, the familiar feeling of floating upward into the cold air inside the ship was nothing new. He moved to the front of the ship and took his seat at the front of the small craft, Elites and grunts all showing their respect for his rank as he was seated. He was finally going home.

Anpe saw Razo leave out the corner of his eye, he did not want to take his eyes away from Sanghelios, even though there was alot of damage to the surface and the planet, Anpe still thought it was a magnificent sight, truly breath-taking.
After a few minutes of examining the damage inflicted upon Sanghelios, Anpe turned and walked towards the hangar and finally boarding the ship. He walked up through the ship towards the front were Razo was seated, passing many grunt and elites alike. He looked down at Razo, smiled, and nodded. They both have been waiting for this moment for a long time.
And this moment had finally come.

Razo remained still as the ship rose from its position and sped out of the hangar, passing through the illuminating purple shield and began its decent through the atmosphere.
The Phantom came to a slow stop above a landing platform on the planet, the gravity lift in the centre of the craft lit up and the Elites and grunts alike began filing out of the ship, followed by Razo and Anpe.
The sheer sight of the metropolis around them filled Razo with joy, after all the damage that had been caused by the Brutes, the city remained untouched.
Razo made his way from the landing area being followed by Anpe, the meeting would commence in the coming days, what it was to be about was unknown.

Special Operations Commander Erno Cudul desended from the phantoms with the others. So this was Sanghelios..he had never seen it before as he was raised on High Charity..maby he lived here when he was younger but no he did not remember this wonderful place. He paused he had no idea where to go or what to do. "damn" muttered Erno to himself looking around for a map or something he could not simply ask somebody where to go or he would be shamed. He sat down on a bench and put his head down in thought of what his next move would be.
