Zarra watched attentively as the fighting continued. A couple of Grunts went down, but didn't try to help. She felt sorry for them, but she was only trained to care for her own species, and she had to be ready if any of the Elites were wounded. As she passed the bodies of the humans the Councilor killed, she quietly reached down and picked up a handgun one of them had been carrying. She disliked handling human weapons, but she hated going through a combat zone unarmed even worse. She would get rid of the accursed thing as soon as she found a plasma pistol, or some other Covenant weapon that was small enough to easy keep hidden.

Oppum struggled to keep pace with the Minor. The Sangheili was insane. But he respected that to a degree, so kept up. He rounded a corner, almost running right into a Human. He quickly pulled up his Spiker as the Marine reached for his Pistol. Oppum was faster, though, and put several spikes into the man's torso. The Human fell to his knees, and fired off three rounds, and died. 'Refumee's shields flickered. He growled in annoyance, then stooped down to pocket the Human's grenades. They were strange, and were unable to stick to targets. They didn't glow when active, which made them much more discreet. He clipped them to his belt, then moved on, keeping an eye out for more hostiles.
(OoC: If any of you are thinking it's odd for an Elite to be wielding Spikers and carrying Frags, it's because he's a mercenary. He uses what he can to get the job done, and has become less picky over such things.)

Katar ripped a weapon from a grunts hands a needler. "put that object of heresey down" growled Katar as he kicked the needler to the medics feet. "your kind are already dishonorable by making warriors shed unneeded blood don't make it worse" said Katar to the medic.

Toku unleashed a warbling battle cry, this time simply firing in random directions, including the air, and screeching and roaring. The cobalt-armored Sangheili didn't bother looking at his Unngoy or the Merc, but instead continued in his wild frenzy of destruction. He poured plasma shots into Marines running around... His unngoy put their weapons on their belts and each took up two of their four plasma grenades, all pitching them past their leader, at a newly-arrived Scorpion Tank. Fourteen plasma grenades landed on it, and detonated- quite an explosion, actually. The tank was obliterated...
The kleptomaniacal Minor Domo cast one glance back at the Councilor, who had snatched the Brute Pack's needler Grunt's weapon, and thrown it to the Medic. This one was rather moody... Toku made a note in his head not to steal anything from him, and went back to his whooping, apparently insane battle frenzy....

(OOC Several explanations a) did not see that part b) Katar has been working with people in active camoflage his entire life so he has a better ability then most to see people camflaged (but he can't see everyone) c) He would notice the missing pistol and the needler didn't have to be near you he just threw it to where he thought you were now )

Zarra jumped, startled by the outburst. Then recovered and picked up the needler. "It's just a stupid piece of metal," she grumbled to herself, tossing the human weapon away. She hurried forward and gave the Needler back to the Grunt before he was forced to charge unarmed, then fell back again. She passed the place she had dropped the human weapon and reached down and picked it up again. This time making sure no one was looking in her direction first. She was now determined to use the weapon, purely out of spite for the Councilor. ((OoC: Don't notice this time. I've sort of got plans for that gun. ))

Toku looked back at the Councilor questioningly. Wasn't the Councilor and his group supposed to actually find the Artifact? Not stand around and berate cloaked Medics... However the cobalt-armored Sangheili turned back to combat, giving whooping cries and screeches to disorient the humans, and well as randomly fling grenades around... This was actually fun.

Katar joined in the battle as he must ensure that non of the these humans have the chance to contaminate The Artifact. "I have recieved a change of orders from The Prophets themselves we all shall advance towards the artifact together as we all deserve the honor of retrieveing the artifact" lied Katar. These were his orders not The Prophets a lie would not hurt and The Prophets would understand and most likely agree with his actions. *** "everyone charge we will not let this city fall" yelled one of those armored humans who was pointing at them with the remaining forces of the city. "my brothers we shall grind this infidels into dust and turn their planet to glass" said Katar as he stood in front of the humans. He let the most animalistic growl he could muster and then charged towards the human that dared give his scum hope confident his men would be right behind him.
