"I appreciate your offer, but I wont stand by while you smuggle such equipment out of it's designated area," Anau replied angrily, but he soon realised she was only trying to help, and he really did need some kind of terminal. Anau looked over his shoulder and then hers and said; "Alright, the palm device should do nicely. Thank you."

(OoC: I noticed but it was an awkward place for an interruption.)
"It won't be missed; we have plenty of them," said Zarra, "We wander off with them all the time, but as long as we bring them back in one piece we don't get in any trouble." She started back toward the medbay, "It will only take a moment, wait..." There was suddenly a loud boom then the lights flickered out. Zarra let out a startled sound as the sudden darkness filled the hall. "What was that?"

Autumus bared a perverse, sick grin at the human. "Oh, I can make you talk. An excess of anything will make you want to say everything. And by the time I am through with you, you will be begging to be allowed to tell everythi-"
But then a loud rumble and the lights flickered before going out. It was pitch black. The energy barrier on the human's cell, being the only one in here routed to the main system, fizzled out as Autumus staggered backwards and fell over in surprise. The Brute lay dazed for about ten seconds in shock, and the doors to the outside, all open because of the outage, revealed very little light....

Anau activated the extra lights in and on his helmet and armour. "I don't know," he replied curiously, "It shouldn't be of any concern."

"I'll go ahead and get one of the tablets, it won't work as long as the power is off, though," Zarra pointed out, "They run on a battery, but they link up to the computers on the ship to work. The medbay has an emergency generator but it only runs the essential equipment." Zarra wandered into the medbay. She pretended to have left something in her locker. The lights were dim and she could barely see the numbers to enter her code, she then rembered that the lock was electronic and muttered a curse. A few of the younger, female medics were squealing and giggling nerviously, acting like they were afraid of the dark to draw the attention of some of the young warriors.

"shh don't worry I will protect you" said Vien to the medic he had managed to attract. She giggled. "you know I do need a medic aboard my ship" said Vien. "well I don't know I got it pretty good here" said the medic. "I will double your pay" said Vien. "I don't know isn't being a warlord dangerous" asked the medic. "not at all" said Vien. "well alright" said the medic as she grabbed Viens extended hand. "let me just tell my boss I am quiting and grab my stuff" said the medic. "alright I will be waiting honey bear" said Vien with a fake smile.
The medic walked into the locker room. "any luck getting your locker open" asked the medic to Zarra.

"No," Zarra replied, with a sigh, "I suppose I'll have to wait and come back when the power returns to get my things." Zarra slipped one of the tablets into her pocket while no one was looking, then left and found the Commander again in the hall outside. "It can be a little complicated sometimes," she said, showing the warrior the tablet, "but hopefully they will have the power back on by the time I finish explaining it."

Oppum worked his way down the hall. He was about to walk past a viewport, when he suddenly stopped. He did a double take on the scene outside. The Prison World.... it was gone. Replacing it, a massive debris field spun erratically outside. He quickly returned to the medical bay, in shock. Sure, some of the people down there probably deserved it, but the garrison.... He stepped in through the door. "The planet.... it's gone."

(OoC: Diabolical)
Anau took the palm device and tapped the side of it, "Great, thanks for this," He looked down the hall when he remembered he electronically locked his brother inside that room, 'Well, he's been in worse spaces,' he thought. He turned back when he heard someone in the med bay say something about the planet disappearing. He looked over the females shoulder outside a view screen and to his horror it was true. "By the Gods," he said quietly, walking past her over to the window.

"What?" wondered Zarra turning and looking out the window. She gasped and put her hand to her mouth. "Gods," she said in a hushed voice, "What could do that?"

"I knew the station's beam was powerful, but....", Oppum, "...I knew a lot of Sangheili in the garrison stationed there". He was suddenly overtaken with rage. So the Prophets wanted to test their new toy on his friends? He would make them pay....

Ati stumbled in the shockwave, their guns armed. Gijula rumbled, "We all knew noble souls there. We must rejoice that they died with honor, at least more than many get" Meanwhile, Ujoda recited a war poem in their own language.

Anau sank at the thought of his brother still being on the planet. He took in a breath and watched as what was left of the planet floated away. "I want that question answered as well. Along with why."

"Humans wouldn't need a reason," Zarra growled, "Neither would heretics. Though I don't know how either would obtain a weapon that powerful." She looked over at the warrior, trying to read his emotions. "You knew someone down there?" she asked, speaking more gently.
