Jack leaped to his feet when Elias decapitated the Brute. The idiot Spartan just really pissed off a pack of Brutes that had them completely surrounded. "Stand down!" He yelled, not at anyone in particular. The HAZOP Spartan pointed his Rifle at the restless Brutes as he made his way over to Elias and the other two female Spartans. "What the hell was that?" he asked, containing his rage, "We just made peace with these apes, and you go f**k it up!" He then turned his attention to the women. "And you two, you are not twelve f**king years old! You are Spartans, pull yourselves together!"

((OOC I AM FIRING MY BITCH-SLAP! and people seem to fail to realize Lyra is not a Spartan))
" Shut the f**k up asshole " growled Bella before she fired a bitch slap at his helmet. She winced....shit hitting a metal helmet with your bare hand hurt....even if you were a Spartan. Hopefully that got her main point across she could re-armor up to prove it again.
" Yes we all are aware what Elias here did was stupid but honestly deep down inside aren't you glad he killed that brute now please kindly get the hell out of here I am working on a patient and I would prefer not to have them be pissed off again and do something that idiotic again and hurt his leg even more "

"What the hell is this?" Jack questioned, "What happened to the Spartans? We were few and strong; respected and feared. Now we're everywhere, and we're pathetic." Jack turned to leave, "If these Brutes want to rip you apart, I won't stop them."
The Covenant grew restless over their fallen brother. The Brutes stomped and barked, acting like dogs desperate to be let off their chain. Anau stood up and looked about, "I think we're in trouble..."
A Brute Captain approached the group, Brute Shot in hand and backed by several minors, "We demand blood! Payment in return of our fallen pack brother!" "Give us the Spartan!" one minor cried. The pack roared and began closing in on the group.
"Oh you've done it now," Jack groaned, realising that Elias was still Human, and so he should be defended, "No, your Brute attacked first," "Lies!" Accused the Captain, "Your female broke lines and struck the minor! She even admitted it!" "Doesn't matter," Jack replied, "I'm sure they're both very sorry anyway," "Haha!" Laughed the Captain, stepping forward towards Elias, "You are mine!"
"Enough!"
A strong female voice yelled from the shadows. A voice all too familiar to the Brutes. They stopped, and the Captain immediately backed away from the group with the minors. A Sangheili, clad in dark Ascetic armour emerged from the darkness. She strode through the group and stood in front of the pack leader. "Now, now, these people are our friends," "One killed our pack brother!" "Indeed?" "His murder was pointless, we demand justice!" "That does seem fair," the Elite pondered, "But, no." "NO!?" "No." The Elite stared down the Brute, which glared straight back, but growled defeated and turned away. The pack backed off and the hangar returned to normal.
The Elite turned and faced the newcomers. Anau, still standing, nodded and sat back beside Zarra, "She wasn't on the Phantom." The Elite slowly nodded back and addressed the group, "I apologise, I'm sure you've all dealt with Brutes before, you know they can be temperamental. Please, if you can, refrain from stirring them up again; I have a reputation to uphold."

The Hierarch of Obedience simply placed his head in his hands after watching the Jiralhanae's unfortunate demise down below. No matter what he tried, the entire galaxy seemed determined to undermine him at every turn. The youngest Prophet glanced up after several moments to his Lieutenant.
"Morkiggul," he began, addressing the dashingly silver-and-gold armored Mgalekgolo. "We are going down and stopping this before it escalates. We can't let this continue if peace is to be made." The Prophet also noted that he had received a status update from the bridge indicating their arrival time to be withing several minutes. Excellent.
The Hunter, towering over all at 18 feet in height, replied with that odd mix of melodic growls, gurgles, and ultra-bass vibrations no other race could replicate. Obedience, clad in his customary blue robes, turned his purple-silver crowned head to look back down at the hangar below, his jade eyes earnest and anxious. This was a stressful time for all. The pale-skinned, soft alien was highly strained by vectors of diplomacy and conflict, attempting to make a bond between two groups that, on the whole, did not want to be joined. But this was necessary. For the survival of all. And if some fell by the wayside during this... so be it. No matter who it was.
The Second Hierarch guided his indigo Gravity Throne to the grav-lift, drifting into the azure luminescence. His throne streaked down to the surface of the hangar from his upper veranda, and the Prophet of Obedience's Gravity Throne came to a halt two feet from the ground, smoothly gliding into the main hangar level floor. He assumed an expression that was a mixture of understanding, strict punitive action, and saintly forgiveness on his face. It was a complicated expression, but he could hold it for a while. As he glided across the hangar floor as silently as a predatory Nightshade, the religious leader of the Yanme'e and Lekgolo adjusted his mantle. Behind him, six golden-clad Hunters, three bond-pairs of the largest, fastest, most brutal Mgalekgolo that had joined the military aspect of their civilization, slammed down onto the ground with heavy thumps, thuds, and smashes. They clomped forward, surrounding the Second Hierarch as they moved forward. Standing directly beside Obedience, towering head and shoulders over the twelve foot-tall Hunter Elite, was Morkiggul. This monstrously-sized and armored Mgalekgolo Prime wore not an Assault Cannon and shield... instead, attached to both arms were a pair of monstrous Light Plasma Mortars. These weapons were usually mounted on a Revenant... and he bore one of both hands. The group came to a halt about fifteen feet away from the humans. The six Hunters unfolded their formation, making a wide line behind the Prophet who hovered in between the Covenant and the humans by the Phantom. The massive Mgalekgolo Prime standing at his right arm, towering at fully twice the height of a large Sangheili flexed its congregations of serpentine worms, displaying his Light Plasma Mortars... it seemed instinctual, as opposed to personal. Something he did to everyone. Regardless of this standard armament, however, the Hunters' pose seemed... ceremonial. Impressive, but not intended to be threatening.
Obedience made a waving gesture with his right hand. The Hunters did... nothing. Not at first. After several seconds, it struck one of them what the gesture to them intended... that he wanted his honor guards to back off. The Mgalekgolo's arms flopped down limply in shock. Then, the Hierarch's jade gaze flicked irritatedly back at his Hunters, and the six immediately took several loud, clumsy steps back. If they had all started beeping, it wouldn't have seemed out of place. After the Hunters had backed off a suitable distance, the Second Hierarch turned his dull green eyes to settle on the Mgalekgolo Prime, Morkiggul. The silver-and-gold-armored Hunter lowered its head resentfully, and stepped behind the Prophet, and stood as still as... well, something dead. VERY dead.
Obedience smiled, and turned to face the humans, drifting forward. All alone. The second-most-important figure in the New Covenant, moving into the midst of a group of humans and Sangheili, not only alone, but also unarmed. The saintly-looking (if somewhat gaudy) alien spoke out loud, "'Alcolee? Is everything progressing smoo- oh..." he excellently feigned surprise at seeing the headless body of a Jiralhanae Minor, scarlet-umber blood covering the floor around the separated body and cranium.
It's never really mentioned or brought up, but messy deaths involving the opening-up of a body smell horrific. The air had gained a sickeningly sweet stink, ever-so-lightly graced by a sour undertone. The Brute's left foot had a twitching toe, muscle spasms occurring there every few seconds. The Prophet's eyes bulged slightly, and he instinctively slapped his hand to his mouth and nostrils in fully authentic repulsion as a wave of nausea overcame him. The Hierarch wanted to choke something out, but all that came out were clipped, strangled moans. Obedience finally swiveled his Gravity Throne to move closer to the humans' Phantom. He fought down the urge to vomit, barely containing the now-dying wave of nausea. After several moments, the Prophet managed to regain his composure... if to a degree. His face now even paler than usual, the Second Hierarch managed to choke out,- "Capt-Captain Verachius, get that body out of here right this s-second! M-mo-MOVE!"

Zarra clutched Anau's hand tightly and tried to look small and inconspicuous. Hoping to not become involved and that the incident would be over and forgotten soon. The Brutes could do what they wanted to the ill tempered Spartan for all she cared, he was a villain in her mind anyway. She just wanted Anau and herself to get home safely and as soon as possible.

Otto peered his head up noticing a Prophet and group of hunters had arrived and were concentrated around the area where the wounded Elias was....or should be. Something big must of happened. " Honey I have to go....I will call you back when I can...something just happened....and no don't worry it is not life threatening or anything but still important " said Otto cutting the connection on his helmet . He darted over the scene. " excuse me but what just happened over here..." asked Otto stopping before ranting on why can't he have just one moment of peace to talk to his family. *** Hunters....no this was not good....not good at all....and this many of them. ...and so so close. Bella tightened up and her breathing rate in pulse quickened her panic attack just beginning. " out of here....I just have to get out of here....but I can't....there are too many ". A Cold Sweat began to form on her body and her breathing rate increased further. She tried to move but she was frozen in fear...locked staring at these Hunters.....helpless...defenseless. Then the flashback started to the root cause of this fear. She shook her heading trying to make it stop but it was no use.
The walls of the hanger slowly began to fade every moment the Spartan became further and further from reality and closer and closer she was being dragged into her nightmare. She began trembling and shivering the metal floor of the hanger turned into a blanket of snow. Slowly the Spartan descended into her madness and nightmares and fell to the floor with a thud.
Bella had fainted.
((OOC All of these are panic attack symptoms: - hyperventilation - sweating - Trembling and Shaking - She does infact look scared on her face - Feeling faint - Tunnel Vison (her "fading from reality...that goes along with the faintness but still) - Derealization and Depersonalization - Chills - Sense of wanting to escape ))

Lyra looked down at Bella. "I did NOT do that." She pointed at Elias. "However, I did do some of THAT."

Elias returned to consciousness he noticed that medic but well he could care less about her ATM. He then turned his gaze to Lyra's. " You call me the stupid one.....you almost killed me " said Elias. He then eyed all the people around him. " I am in trouble aren't I.....that is ok I have gotten myself out of bigger jams then this one " said Elias with a chuckle.

"Yes, but I didn't. Besides, whatever trouble you are in with the rest of them, it's NOTHING compared to how much trouble you are in with ME. " Lyra glared at him with the intensity of a battleship closing in on it's beleaguered enemy.

" Lyra....you are going to have to bare with me here for a moment ok .....I am not good at appologies or appologies that are sincere but well you are the only person I care about enough to appologise 100% to......as well you mean that much to me....nobody else EVER in my life has ever really cared about me....or made me feel horrible for hurting them...for some reason up until now you were willing to look past the fact that I am a Spartan, dealt with my hotheadedness and arrogance....when I am with you I feel Human....but that doesn't matter I f**ked up bigtime today and you have every right to still be pissed at me or not believe me....Lyra I think...I think I might love you.....and not just for your looks....there everything if off my chest " said Elias.
Again he did not blame her if she never ever wanted to see him again. He understood a person could only take so much and Elias crossed that line today.

Lyra bit her lip. She felt terrible, but he had scared her. He had made her angry and feel unloved. But here he was apologizing and telling her in his own stupid pigheaded way that he loved her. Her head drooped. "I'm still unhappy with you....."She paused for a very long time. "and there are some unforgivable things that you've done." She raised her head and looked him straight in the eyes, "But that doesn't change the fact that I love you and that you are literally all I have now."

He paused taking that all in she was still unhappy with him, that was understandable, she was mad/ashamed of him for his past....and well he had not even told her everything, understandable...hell he was probably the most hated human on Sangheilos...alot of blood he spilled there....it secretly bothered him every night but that was not his fault that was Grim's.....in fact Grim made him seem like a bad guy on The Ring....truely Otto and Lyra were the only two people who probably still liked Elias...so yeah he got it...he would work on it but well he did not want to become someone he was not. However despite all of his flaws she still loved him and that was all Elias needed to know. Maybe he just needed to go back to those 4 years off when he was just playing hockey and he had nothing to do with war.
" Hey it is me and you against the world Lyra....all we have is eachother and hey your pretty cute when your mad with me " said Elias with a grin.

(OoC: Goddamnit... that's another thread missed. Oh well... may as well join in late, better than not joining in at all. I hate myself and my non-paying-attention-to-RPs sometimes.)
Russ had seen the entire event. Being barricaded in the hangar, guarded by Brutes, kind of sucked, especially when it was frigging BRUTES. The same kind of aliens that had mercilessly murdered a squad on Reach, while he watched. It took all of his collective strength to not raise his rifle and bust a hole through all of their damned heads, so it was no real surprise that he simply smiled when the Brutes died. He also smiled when the damn Prophet came in and almost puked his damn guts out.
But then he saw a SPARTAN fall. His mind instantaneously went into full overdrive as he rushed towards him or her, picking the man or woman up and setting her against a crate, before checking vital signs. Jacobs appeared on his shoulder. "Vitals say she's fine, but she's got elevated heart rate. I'd place a good bet that if she goes into REM she'll have a nightmare."
Satisfied with what he did, Russ returned to the crate he sat on, and unloaded, then loaded his MBR55HB SR prototype for the fifth time in a row. It was really boring here... but judging from that SPARTAN wearing Mark V who yelled at them, he assumed it probably wouldn't be a good idea for a vendetta to be settled here.
So, he returned to his usual work. Jacobs kept an eye on the fallen SPARTAN's vital signs from across the room, and would alert Russ to anything bad happening. So far, so good.
(OoC: Sorry guys... I'll take a bigger part in this now. I never really did take part in Reach except for one post: don't think I was meant to RP there. Oh well... 'least I posted here.)

Lyra smiled and threw her arms about Elias's neck. "Idiot. I love you."
