Otto stashed his gear in an overhead compartment including his swords they just got in the way when he was flying. Once his gear was properly stored he took his seat in the pilots chair and waited for the green to go and the Vulture to be unclamped.
(OOC Lol another question type thing but aren't we gonna have to dock with a ship because I don't think Vultures have slipspace drives...just saying...lol this sounds so stupid but well I just want this cleared up)

(OoC: Rather than a gate, they could have slipspace pods you clamp onto your ship. I believe the freighters in Contact Harvest operated in a similar way.)

(OOC I have not read the book but I guess that could work and is more realistic so we will use your pods or a thing that the Vulture "plugs into" that serves as the slipspace drive)

At last, the safehouse. As usual, JC checked to make sure the door's lock wasn't tampered with. From his mind, Kilo assured him, "Scans don't show any traces of human sweat besides yours."
Passing through the doorway, JC surveyed the room, his vision switching to the HUD display as he scanned the room. There wasn't much in the room in the first place: a coffee table, a kitchen, five pistols on the wall, a door to a closet, another to a bathroom, a trunk for supplies, and a radio. Very minimalist, but for a safehouse for a kid on the run, it was better then what most would have. Adding to the five pistols on the wall, JC unloaded his weapon and hung it on the wall, making six. He opened the trunk, dropping the ammo into the box, next to rations and spare clothing. He turned to the coffee table, emptying his pockets. Keycards, a fake ID, additional ammo.
"Were we seen on the way here?" JC asked Kilo as the virtual projection of her appeared on the coffee table. He went into the bathroom to get a towel to pat the sweat off of him.
"No. Something would've came up on the radio," she called out.
JC fingered the back of his neck, feeling the scarred skin from when he removed the transmitter that Techstream was using to track him. He sighed and washed his face, wetting his scalp. Techstream had his head shaved, but since he escaped, it was something he was so used to, it would've been odd to him if it wasn't.
Returning to the main room, he sat in front of Kilo, turning the radio on, listening to the police scanner. "Now that we have the damage from removing the transmitter fixed, what's our next course of action?"
"We have to find a way to get off of this rock. If you want to hide a tree, you put it in a forest- For a person, you put him in a city. For the last remaining humans, it's Eden, Sanghellios, or Tortuga. Eden's obviously not an option, but on Sanghellios there are gang wars rising and the government would be too preoccupied with finding you. Tortuga's known as the 'crap hole' of the universe, but it's also an good place to hide from Techstream."
"Wouldn't Techstream immediately think of looking in Tortuga, due to the nature of people there?"
"Miners, gamblers, and such? Sure, but it'd be very difficult for them."
JC leaned back to cross his arms as he thought about it. Chatter on the scanner was very minimal as time passed. Kilo had her legs crossed and her eyes closed, allowing JC to think peacefully.
"Let's go to Sanghellios."
"Well, we'll have to find someone who'll smuggle us to Sanghellios."
"Where do you suggest we find someone who will?"
"Maybe a lower level bar?"

Chandler sat himself down in the co-pilots seat and began entering codes into the control panel.
"Good day," chimed a female voice, "Do you require assistance? Reminder: crafts are not allowed to leave this station without Blue authorisation,"
"Ki, it's Chandler," he responded, "I have authorisation Black,"
"Please wait," Ki replied as she attempted to processes the information, "Do not deactivate the console,"
Chandler sighed and turned to Otto, "That's Ki, Cortana's sister... she's a little slow," he sighed again, "You can really fly one of these things, Otto?" he asked, attempting to pass the time.
She really was slow, Ki went into production when the Master Chief and Cortana went MIA, but after the Rifter virus attacked the UNSC data base, her files became corrupted before they were extracted for safety. It took five years to bring her online, as well as the new and improved UNSC data base.

" Don't worry if I can drive a Frigate then I can drive this thing " said Otto. He pressed the slipspace pod lock botton and a three slipspace pods lowered from the ceiling onto the Vulture. Getting this thing through slipspace would be the toughest part of the journey even with the pods and the size of the Vulture the ride would be very bumpy...plus he had never done it before because when he was in service this type of thing was never even heard of mere talk of attempting it was crazy..but this was not the first "small" craft into it and this type of travel was not uncommon these days. " Rommel calculate the safest vector to Sanghelios". Rommel was the dumb AI built to run the ships basic systems while the crew went into cyro sleep. Otto had read about these slipspace pods in the newspaper or at least what the UNSC allowed to be published. These pods were not reuseable as they drained all their fuel so that slipspace trips would only be a day or two.
"here you are sir" said the AI. Numbers scrolled across the screen and Otto input them into the navigation system.
" We should be ready to go in about 5-10 minutes" said Otto as he looked at the charge of the slipspace engines.

(OoC: Mitch, we're all in the hangar, aboard a Vulture preparing to leave for Sanghelios. Excluding Cains character, JC, who is on the run from Techstream, so organisation Just get on the Vulture.) "That's reasonable," Chandler nodded, "By that time, Ki should understand she can open the hanger doors."

"Are you sure this is safe?" Kilo asked JC, who was crouched into a crate aboard the Vulture. The holsters on his belt holding his two favorite SOCOM pistols (the only ones he took from the safehouse) thudded against the side of the crate as he tried to find a comfortable position.
"Of course not. With all these soldiers? It's the fastest way out of here," he whispered. JC had a sleeveless shirt on now, but even so, he could still feel shivers from the cold steel of the crate. "Do you even know what they're doing on Sanghellios?"
"Seems to be some sort of black ops mission. There's not much in the database about it. This flight has black authorization," she muttered. Even if Kilo was inside of JC's head, he could tell she gave a slight shrug. Something about being biofitted with an AI gave a one-ness with another being... even if it was artificial.
"Well crap," JC sighed. As long as they didn't get involved, Kilo and JC could get away safely... Then again, they didn't know where exactly they would be landing or even how they would get off the frigate.

Justin leaned forward, and turned his head to the right, peering into the cockpit. This was taking a while. Why? Probably beauracracy. The Hayabusa-armored SPARTAN decided that the bench was too boring for right now, so he walked the three steps to the rather conspicuous crate, and proceeded to sit on it, and drew his katana again. Might as well make sure it was perfect. After all, it was hard to get throug titanium-armored enemies...

The noise from JC and Kilo's talking and fidgeting awoke something in a nearby crate. Scratching and birdlike squawking come from within. They sound angry.
(OoC: Because Remnants died, I deleted my posts from there and have moved my character inside the Vulture.)
