((OoC: For the record, I am reading them. But it's the Elite's so it's not like I know what I'm doing when they come around. I've been staying in the Pelican so I could avoid the Elite's altogether until I know 100% what the hell is going on. So far as I know, Zarra's leg is broken or something, we got evaced to the Radiant Jewel, and something's going on with Otto.))
((SPARTAN))
Mitch sat up again. "I didn't say anything. I just asked if she had a name and she dove into my service record." Mitch and putting his hands up in defense to his response.

(OOC Just letting you know I have not used Otto in this thread just Katar my elite councilor who wants to know information about The Rifters so he knows what the hell his people are fighting and dieing against and so he can gain more military support against them if they are a significant threat; nothing odd is going on with the elites they are just honor guards in the hanger to ensure no fights break out between the two races...which I can demonstrate below with Elias on how fight instigators will be dealt with so the honor guards are not there to hurt you or anything just to prevent fights from happening on any elites that are still hanging out in the hanger (Humans were not the only ones saved from New Jeresalem)
What I can see is odd if the extra security Katar is putting on his room as fishy but well he is an overprotective person but he does have justification a) they are dealing with potentally highly classified information and b) if I am not mistaken (which I may be) that the Rifters are Forerunners and if an elite happened to overhear and spread such move the elites would go back to their Covenant ties as well there is PROOF that the Forerunners/God's exist and want humanity wiped out.) ***
(OOC I will post later as I have to go to church)

((OoC: For the record, I am reading them. Something's going on with Otto.)). (OOC Just letting you know I have not used Otto in this thread XD *** Chandler moved around the room to be familiar of his surroundings, he then moved back in front of the Elite and stood at attention. "From what we can tell, these Rifters are Forerunner. They emerged out of no where offering us peace and protection when the Rebels launched an attack on Earth. They gained our trust, and during a meeting with the Supreme Commanders of the UNSC, they stole a smart AI, and infected it with a virus. As soon as the AI returned to Earth and linked itself up with the core, the virus spread. Everything went offline. Then they came," Chandler then went on to tell the Elite Councillor what had happened to Earth, the fate it suffered. "Sir, we are facing a foe with a plan, and I believe part of that plan is wiping out Humanity," Chandler continued standing for a moment and then took a seat, folding his legs, "Now Councillor... take off your pants." (OoC: XD You can ignore that last bit )

(Ooc Oh snap Danny)
Katar listened to the humans words and clenched his manibles tighter together when he heard he was fighting Forerunners. "you are aware I was raised on the belief that the Forerunners were God's and that we started the war because The Prophets told us the Forerunner wanted you eliminated" said Katar. He began pacing around thinking unsure what he believed anymore it appeared that his system of beliefs were flawed after the war was over but now it appeared the humans were wrong about the elites beliefs. " Spartan if you will be excused for a moment I have some things to think over....surely you understand that this may be difficult for my people if the word is out that The Rifters are The Forerunner..and that some certain Councilors....the older...more experienced and battle hardened were raised and still keep the beliefs that they were raised on" said Katar. "Don't think I am telling you know Spartan because I just need to think about this news is all it is shocking that the Forerunner still exist although they seem dishonorable" said Katar recalling how they tricked the humans dishonorably if they really wanted them eliminated they should of helped those rebels. Quite a predicament was on Katar's consiousness help the "Gods" albeit they were dishonorable ones or help the humans their allies who had helped them when the elites were torn by a civil war against the brutes.

Chandler was suddenly stricken with fear. What he had said could very well cause some 'Forerunner worshipping' Elites to rebel. His trust in the Elites led him to believe they could handle this information, but then his trust have been betrayed before. He wont make the same mistake Humanity made. Chandler saluted and left the room. As soon as the door shut behind him, he ran back to the hanger.
He returned to the Councillors room a few minutes later with two ODSTs by his side and an Assault Rifle in his hands. He waited outside for the Elite to finish 'thinking over things'.

"I am afraid the Councilor is still deep in thought" said an honourguard at the door to the Spartan and his two new additions...Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. " They will have to stay outside and no weapons are permited in the Councilors quaters except a sword" said the honorguard as signed repeating the line had to repeat over and over again on guard duty. "If you don't want to wait here you can back to the hanger and I will fetch you when he is done" *** Katar grabbed his container of stimulants for when the pressure of politcal life got too high and he needed to relax so he could continue his work and keep his sanity and health. "I thought Shipmisstress Inwa told you to stop using those" said an honorguard. " This time is an emergency" "I suppose it is" murmered the guard saying no more. Katar injected the stimulant into his arm and felt relaxed. He began pacing around the room running through both sides of the argument in his head. "Uncle what would you have done in my situation" said Katar to himself thinking back to his childhood under the rough, warrior building but also military officer training. "Of course you would of sided with the Rifters you don't know any better" said Katar to himself again. Katar sighed he could not make up his mind on this issue that would detirmine not only the fate of the humans but the fate of the Sangheli would he dare risk a portion of Sangheli society spilting away just to save the humans or would he condem the humans to death he dared ally with after what his kind had done to them and how hard they had fought against each other to stop the Brutes and expose the lies of The Great Journey. "Send the Spartan back in here" said Katar. "who have made a decison" asked the honorguard. "no trying to get an argument in support for his side" said Katar. "very well" said the guard and he opened the door. "The Councilor wishes to speak with you Spartan" said the honorguard. (OOC Isn't the tension killing you? . I would have just picked a side but I am as confused as Katar is...not that I hate humanity but if I was Katar the Rifter option is just so tempting...its the "wrong" thing to do but it is the easy thing to do)

Chandler pushed aside the Honourguard and he and his ODSTs barged into the room, "Listen here, split-lip," he said as he entered. "I know what's going through your head," the ODSTs moved around the room and aimed their weapons at the guards, "these Rifters are not Gods, they have killed your kind and they will continue to do so unless we do something about it," Chandler said, stepping in front of Katar, his face just centimetres from his. "We are allies now, and I, a Spartan trained to kill your kind on site, have learned to accept it. Now it's your turn," Chandler took a step back and raised his Assault Rifle to his hip, "Don't make me do it." The ODSTs cocked their rifles and prepared for the worse. If this Councillor rebelled, then maybe Chandler could put him down before any other Elites got the same idea.

" How dare this human dare and kill me when I am trying to decided whether to help him in or not...just for this I could decide to damn his entire race" thought Katar who let out a growl before regaining his composure. "surely since you claim to understand my position understand that I am at a crossroads between my honor and my beliefs" said Katar. "if you would kindly leave my quaters I will give you an answer but if you desire to resort to violence then you will have to duel me" said Katar who took his sword out but held his finger over the safety if he fully drew it he would have to spill this Spartans blood.

The two ODSTs lowered their weapons and left the room in sync as if Chandler had told them to do so telepathically. "I trust you'll make the decision that will benefit us all," Chandler said as he lowered his rifle, turned and left the Councillor in peace.

Zaku finally exhaled.... the ship was safe. But something just didn't feel right. The Sangheili zealot strode off the bridge. He walked down to hallway, to his quarters. The hulking Ship Master had to get out of sight from his crew members... he didn't want them to see his legs tremble slightly when he wobbled around. Once inside, the golden-armored Zealoto inhaled deeply, held it, then exhaled. The exhalation came out as an unintentional hiss, and he continued the deep breathing. Calm himself. The Ship Master paused. He walked over to the rather gaudily grandiose desk in his spacious cabin, and sat down at it. The zealot pulled up Katar's hololine. There must be an error with Zaku's, though- the Zealot cursed when the holographic display informed him that though he could see into the Councilor's quarters, the inhabitant could not see him.
Zaku began to growl to the Councilor through the line, but then froze. His ice blue eyes bulged dangerously. The holographic display was showing total blasphemy- the SPARTAN, and several ODSTs with guns drawn on the Councilor. Zaku was about to roar into the communications when the group of humans left the room. The hulking, golden-armored Zealot cut the line instead. He slowly turned his chair around. His blood pressure was rising.... How DARE those humans draw weapons upon a Sangheili High Councilor in his own quarters! The Elites had just now put their lives at risk to save the lives of hundreds- nay, thousands- of humans, and they had the audacity to threaten the life of Katar?!
The Zealot leapt up from his chair like a typhoon bursting from a narrow gorge. Roaring and bellowing, he grabbed everything within his arms' considerable reach and flung what he could about, smashing electronics to the floor, hurling a comm at the wall.... Finally, the Zealot slowly calmed. The battle rage began to fade. However, the hulking Elite was still coldly assessing what to do. If he did what he wanted to, he could have Honor Guards, and even a few Mgalekgolo down there in about two minutes... But no. That would be like admitting he was as low as the Jiralhanae. And he would never do that.
Instead, Ship Master Zaku 'Vudem would wait. He would see if Katar made a diplomatic solution. And if the Councilor couldn't, then he would try. After all, that is what a civilized race would do. He didn't need cronies with weaponry to negotiate. Zaku slowly sat back down at his desk. Yes... for now, he would jsut observe. If worst came to worst, he might be forced to deal with these humans himsel- no! He wouldn't lower himself to their thuggish, backstabbing standards. Diplomacy would do.
He supposed.

Katar replayed everything that the Spartan told him, all of the beliefs that were beaten into him by his Uncle who trained him as a child both in religion but also in honor. He had reached a decision. These Rifters were dishonorable creatures that dared call themselves Forerunner...the Gods he knew were not cowards and swines who turned on their allies like brutes. The Spartan must of been mistaken these creatures were not Forerunners...they were abominations that dared claim they were God's. They had stolen from the God's and for that they must be eliminated. He opened the door. "Spartan I have come to a decision come but leave your men behind there will be no need for violence" said Katar.

" I will help you eradicate these false God's from our galaxy" said Katar. "Gathering support will not be difficult as we will have the prohumans on our side but also the conservatives as like myself they will want these heretics eliminated...you can inform your people that we will be offering our full support against the Rifters and we will stop are nothing till this threat is eliminated" said Katar. He paused for a moment. "Now begone...but remember this if you EVER thearten me again you will face my wrath" growled Katar. He immediatly pulled out a holopad and started to write his report and speech to the council. These fleet was just volenteers and a small expeditionary force soon the full wrath of the Sangheli would be upon the Rifters.

Yura smiled. "Of course sir, my name is Yura'ee Isharum. Im a seraph pilot serving under the fourth fleet of prevailing justice. One thing you should know is that Im colorblind, I dont think its a huge handicap, just remember, even if i cant see color, i can tell the difference between shades of grey". Yura lowered his voice. "Rather poetic if you think about it."
