The guard grinned, "Oh this? This is an M.A. Inc. Coyote-01. L Variant." he replied. "Got a good eye for weapons, I gotta say."

Ryder slowly slid back his flight jacket to expose his holster. He carefully withdrew his Luger so as not to alarm the guards. He held it up for examination. "I suppose we're a little... behind in terms of land-based weaponry. We're more focused on aerial combat."

The soldier nodded in agreement, "Ah, I see. Us Sollarians are more mind setted on ground combat. That's why we use Bonecrusher's as our heavy ground units besides some of our MECHs. Hell most of them are our air support alongside our SAM sites."

"Right," Uriel said, clapping her hands together once Ryder had left the room, "Shall we get down to business?"

Uriel quickly wiped the fake smile from her face and answered bluntly, "Look around you, Landon. You are in the White City, a place of light. You have demon blood flowing through you, that makes you demon. Does that answer your question?" she asked. "You're a demon, we do not look kindly at demons."

Landon rolled up his right sleeve. "Oh, you mean because of this?" Landon frowned as he looked back at Uriel. "Do you honestly think I chose to be like this? Do you honestly think I'm happy with it?" Landon walked past Uriel and stared out the window at the city below. "A Demonica type demon can hide their appearance and create their human body to cloak it so not even you and your people could notice it without them telling you. But me? This is a birth defect. It makes me stronger than the rest of the Demonica and Angelo demons, but it puts me at risk of being killed now, I guess." He turned back to Uriel. "Just what were you going to accomplish if your assassination attempt succeeded?"

Uriel frowned and approached Landon by the window, "We hoped Soll'rah would crumble due to the lack of a leader," she confessed, "But... you say you did not ask to be this?" she asked, turning to him and looking into his eyes, "We fear you, Landon, and because of this, I ordered your assassination, personally. I would kill you right now, but..." she sighed, concealing her dagger back under her clothing, "But I pity you. I will not apologise for trying to kill you, but perhaps we can come to an agreement that involves our two nations ignoring each other."

Landon faintly smiled. "Nor will I expect one, Uriel." he said, caressing the side of her face with his right hand. He laughed quietly and held out his right hand, "So, good terms for now?" but before he could get and answer, the lead guard from his escorts barged in. "ICARUS! IT'S BAD!" Landon looked at him, puzzled. "What? What's bad?" "Peak 105! Lieutenant Commander Hawke is in trouble!" Landon, now scared, grabbed the guard by his arm and pulled him closer. "What's wrong?! Tell me!" The guard swallowed and slowed his breathing. "Her team... they found something there. A laboritory. Their communications were severed and now... they're assumed MIA." Landon's eyes widenned and he let go of the guard. He hung his head and he remained idle for a moment. He swallowed and looked back at the guard. "Have Archangel ready. I at least want to find a body at least. I just hope she isn't gone..." he clenched his devil arm's hand and looked at Uriel. "I'm sorry but I'm leaving. See ya soon. Follow me if you want, but it's your call."
Landon stormed out and the guard followed.

Once Landon and his guard had left, Uriel took in a large breath and nearly burst into tears. She got off easy, so very easy. A pair of guards entered, fearing for their rulers life once seeing Landon storm out of the room with his guard, "Uriel!" they both called, seeing her resting against the window sill. "Mistress, wha-" "Somethings wrong," she interrupted, "Pull the Light-Pack out of Soll'rah, get them away from Peak 105, their services are no longer required," "We are... at peace?" one guard asked. "No," she chuckled, "We are... going to leave each other alone," "Madam, did you lie? Does he know we are behind the assassination?" the other asked. "I dared not lie, I spoke the truth," she replied. The two guards looked at each other confused, even they would have striked Uriel down upon hearing the truth. "I saw something, in his eyes..." "The very pits of hell?" one growled. "No," Uriel frowned at him, "Pull the Pack out of Peak 105, though keep them somewhat close... and send Castiel to follow Landon and his guards," "It will be done," they nodded, quickly leaving the room.

It only took Landon a good thirty minutes to rush down to the shoreline where one of his Amphibious assault carriers floated. It only took him another moment to get on board and to his personal MECH, ARCHANGEL[/b]. A man clad in special personalized armour quickly followed Landon. "Landon-" "Talk to me, Jake." Landon responded, hopping into the cockpit of his MECH. Jake looked up at Landon. "Do you want me to tell our forces to invade?" Landon pulled a keyboard in front of him and began to callibrate his armoured weapon. "NO. Tell everyone to pull back to Soll'rah. Full speed!" Jake nodded to Landon. "What's up, man? What's going on?" "I... I dunno. Rue is in danger. I'm leaving now." "Without your armour? Or a destination?" Jake asked. "Airavon, Peak 105. And I don't need one." he replied as he put his arms into the control sockets and his feet in the lower control sockets. His cockpit closed in three pieces. First was the internal piece, which doubled as his entry support and cockpit HUD. Next and finnally were the chest pieces that were on either side. They closed and locked in place as the MECH came to life. It rose slowely and extended it's wings.
Archangel was a beautiful site. While it was roughly between the size of a Reconnassaince MECH and a Standard MECH, the location of the bay was convenient enough that it could be seen from the main capital. It's appearance was truly worthy of it's name. It rose at a steady pace and flew a fast speed over the capital of Avalon and then taking a hard right in the general direction of Soll'rah.

"I don't know what's going on," Uriel answered, "All I know is that Soll'rah is not at war with Avalon," "As for this lab," she pondered, "I'm sending one of my own to investigate, though he's going to need a means of transport. Perhaps you personally could travel with him into Soll'rah in one of your aircraft."
