Bly turned around. "Right then." he replied. Mitch was suprised. "What? Why? The Remnant Aren't even out of the Aurora System!" He asked. Bly sighed. "Actually, most of the Remnant is pulling back and settling on Guardian. Others are leaving through slipspace. We can only assume that they're going to Earth."

Matchsticks continued running towards the Pelican. Suddenly everyone stopped fighting and appeared to be getting back into combat mode. "Sorry that I am not Superman after suriving that explosive but I could use a little help here" yelled Matchsticks. Before he had to stop and place Eagle Eyes on the ground so he could rest for a moment and catch his breath.

((Okay, someon lock this bee-otch up. Aurora V is done.))
"Alright! Alright! Alright! We're goin' back to the Normandy! Round Everyone and everything up!" Commander Bly yelled to everyone, wave his hand in the air in a circle as he put his helmet back on and walked into a Troop variant Pelican.
"You heard the man everyone! Take everything that isn't bolted to the ground!" Mitch added as he followed.
In under an hour, The Aurora V skyline was filled with various frigates and cruisers. All headed to one main spot. Earth. The Rifters were preparing an attack. The Aurora V UNSC forces took everything they needed or felt they needed. Wraith's, Shade Turrets, Plasma Rifles, you name it, they took it with them.
As all of the UNSC forces in system clustered together, they all spinned up their FTL drives and abandoned the Aurora System. ______________________________________________________

14 HOURS AFTER DROP
ABOARD UNSC MESSENGER CLASS CRUISER, NORMANDY
END OF MISSION
Mitch approached Bly on the Bridge of the Messenger Class Crusier, Normandy. "Sir. I apologize for my actions toward Alex." he apologized. Bly sighed. "I forgive you. It never happened. But," Bly turned around and glared at Mitch. He began to walk into Mitch and Mitch stepped back, until he hit a wall, "Pull another stunt like that, Sergeant, and you will never see daylight. I will personally make sure that you NEVER leave your prison cell. Are we clear, Sergeant?" "Crystal, Sir." Mitch swallowed. "Now, get out of my sight. Make sure you have a squad ready for yourself." Bly ordered as he went back to his orginial spot at the window. "Sir, what about-" "Mandy? Who knows? I'm not sure what she's doing now. I don't even know what they'll do with her. As far as I know, they'll just transfer her to another Lacewing building." Bly replied. "Sir? I just have one more question?" Mitch asked. "Shoot." "Why are we abondoning Aurora?" Bly sighed, and shook his head. "We're being faced with extinction. It's an undeniable fact that when man is faced with extinction, every alternative is preferable, Mitch. You'll learn this after you've lived through the war."
Mitch nodded and left. He was now a Master Sergeant. Taking Shaw's place for the rest of his military career. He returned to his bunk, and layed down, staring into space. He thought about their destination. What they would do. What would happen. He didn't know.
"So long, Halcyon days..."
