As Carmine followed Bismuth down the ladder, he kept trying to open the UNSC database. "Hey, Bismuth, You know we still haven't been able to get through to HIGHCOM eh?"

((okayz!! Fun!!))
The warthogs, mongeese, and pelicans moved foward, advancing through the ruined military base. Alex looked around, his rocket launcher ready, as he sat in one of the warthogs. The vehicles skidded and swooped down a rugged trail, making their way until they saw a large building.... Pyro asked in the comm, "Hey, what't that?"
The gruff Sergeant replied, "It's the ONI Facility. There are already some Marines in there, and our mission is to either defend it or blow it. The second option is only in case of failure, though. So don't get any ideas, smartass."
Alex didn't let the rough Sergeant faze him. It wasn't his fault the bulky man was feeling pissy. So the vehicle caravan drove right into the now-open garages, and heavy bulkheads closed behind them. The pelicans landed on top, dropping off turrets and heavy weapons, as well as some troops. Marines disperesed throughout the ONI Facility, and Alex hopped out of the Warthog. The young man ran up several staircases, to a secure balcony with two snipers and the Facility's overseer, a young man with dark hair and grey eyes.
"An ODST- good. We'll be needing you." The overseer handed Pyro a pair of binoculars, and Alex used them. In the distance, approaching them, was the worst thing he knew of. Wraiths. Lots of them. And a virtual fleet of Ghosts, as well as hordes of Unngoy, many Jackals, and a ridiculous amount of Brutes. As well as a lot of Phantoms to take part in the assault.... Then, Alex froze, before releasing a strem of the foulest expletives known.
One of the Snipers asked, "What is it? What'd ya see?"
Alex swallowed hard, and handed the binoculars back to the Facility Overseer.
"Scarab. Even without it, we're up to our ears in shit..."

((This is my first post by the way. If I did something wrong, let me know.))
Fox finally wakes up from unconsciousness inside the pod. "Ah...dammit. Mitch come in...Mitch are you there? This Cpl. Fox, is anyone there?" *silence* "Shit." He kicks the pod door out and jumps onto the ground. An endless skyline of buildings smoking in the distance as Fox figures out his bearings. "Where the hell am I?" *He checks the map.* "Carbon Canyon? Aw that's just perfect." Realizing a long hike is in his future, he grabs his Battle Rifle and explosives, and hikes it down the canyon.

A beacon lit up in Fox's HUD. "At least I'm not alone out here." He heads towards the signal.

Mandy let out a squeal at the troopers sudden arrival and luckily the security guard was able to keep his calm. "Trooper, the streets are being flooded with Covenant, we have a small Lacewing security force on this planet bu it's not much... where's the rest of your squad?"
***
"Oh, hello," Atlas chuckled as he found Carries pod covered in debris. He took one last look for any Covenant and began clearing debris. As he was removing concrete from the pod, the sound of something on wheels rolled behind him. He reached over and grabbed his assault rifle and spun around. A hospital bed had rolled into the center of the hallway. "What's taking you so long?" Carrie coughed. "Shh," Atlas immediatly replied. "If you're human, show your face. If your not, show it so I can rub my boot on it," he yelled, aiming his rifle down the hall. He slowly began moving forward when he suddenly saw a flash of purple. "Not human!" he called, kneeling down and wrapping his finger around the trigger. For a moment it was silent, then suddenly a large, floating purple alien revealed itself and darted behind the hospital bed. "Woah!" Atlas yelled with surprise, falling backwards but quickly correcting himself and bringing his rifle back up to his shoulder, but it was too late. The alien wrapped one of it's many tentacles around Atlas's rifle and tossed it away. Atlas crawled backwards while trying to draw his handgun when suddenly there was a loud bang and half of the alien splattered over Atlas. He jumped to his feet, drew his handgun and put two shots in its head. "What the hell was that?" he yelled. "Atlas, what's going on?" Carrie asked, helplessly trapped in her pod. He was quick to aim his handgun at the stranger that had blown the creature away. A few humans, dressed in a sort of green armour revealed themselves, one reloading his shotgun. "Militia?" Atlas asked. "Lacewing. UNSC?" one asked. "Yeah," Atlas nodded, "Thanks for the assist," "Don't mention it," he replied. "So what was that?" Atlas asked, returning his handgun to his holster and picking up his assault rifle. "An Engineer, never seen one?" he asked as his men began to spread out around the hall. "No," Atlas replied, returning to Carries pod and prying it open. "They're supposed to be friendly," the soldier continued, looking over his shoulder at one of his men. "Friendly, huh?" Atlas said, putting his hand out so Carrie could take it. "How many of you are there?" the soldier asked. "Dunno, we scattered in the AA fire, this hospital was our LZ. As far as I know, we're the only two that made it here," Atlas replied. "Do you have a radio,? I need to contact my CO," The soldier went quiet and looked around at his squad. "Yeah, we got a radio. So you're the only to UNSC soldiers here?" "Yeah..." Atlas said suspiciously. "Why?" "I'll take you to our personnel carrier out front, it has a radio."

"Yeah, i was wondering why that is Carmine.." Vince said, reaching the end of the ladder. Jumping down, he landed on the ground, checking for any covenant.

"Where are the civilians?" Carrie asked, walking along side the soldier. "Anywhere but here," he replied. "But this is a hospital, there's no doctors, nurses, no patients, no one," Carrie said. "We evacuated the patients and staff when the Covenant began entering the city," the soldier continued. "But the Covenant only just attacked, how did you empty an entire hospital?" she asked again, starting to get on the soldiers nerv. "Professionalism, ma'am. We're prepared for anything," the soldier replied, looking over at one of his men who smirked. As the group was slowly making their way out of the hospital, the sound of a large commotion came from a few floors above them. "What's that?" Atlas asked, keeping his assault rifle ready. "That? Probably just one of my teams mopping up what's left of the Covenant," the soldier replied. "You empty a hospital of all it's patients, let it be taken by the Covenant, and now you're taking it back?" Carrie asked, raising an eyebrow. "Orders are orders," the soldier sighed, pushing open the main doors and walking outside. Carrie followed the soldier as Atlas took one last look inside the hospital. He noticed several shell casings on the ground and Human blood stains. "What'd you do with all the bodies?" Atlas yelled. "What?" the soldier asked from outside. "I came in here and found no Covenant bodies, what'd do with them?" "Trooper, I don't have time to answer all your stupid questions. You've got your mission and I've got mine. I'm taking time from mine so you can use our radio, do you want to use it or not? Because I'm having second thoughts on letting you use it," A soldier came from behind Atlas and shoved him out of the hospital and then stood guard at its doors.

After an hour of walking, Fox finally comes upon the source of the signal. A soldier on duty stops him. "Cpl. Johnathan Fox, Archangel Squad. I need to see your CO." Fox politely demands. "Yes sir, he's right over there." the guard replies. Fox thanks the guard and heads toward the CO. He finds him, and salutes. "Sir, Cpl. Fox of Archangel Squad. I seemed to have been separated from my unit."

Mitch sighed and de-polarized his visor. "Scattered. Dead. I dunno. I told everyone to scatter when AA fire hit us. Stupid ass move." Mitch thought for a second, "Wait, if Lacewings' here, does that mean the Quartz of Cambridge are too?"
----------------------------------------
Carmine hopped down and looked down to the streets below. "Hey! I see a Mongoose! When we get down we should take that to the hospital."
((There's Carmine's and Bismuth's objective))

"it seems everyone has been scattered today...nice to meet your Coperal I am Gunnery Sergeant James Nickelson and well your new CO" said Matchsticks. "your just in time we are about to clear an LZ for our armor" said Matchsticks as he tossed the butt on the ground and stamped it out. He put his helmet up. "you can take a quick break I am waiting for everyone to get here" said Matchsticks as he offered the trooper his rock.

"Ok, lets get going down through the rest of this building, watch out for any covenant hiding around inside" Vince said, moving off down the building, his pistol at the ready.
Pausing at the entrance doors to the building, Vince motion Carmine to stop. Noting where the mongoose was, Vince whispered to Carmine, " I can see some covenant soldiers over past the mongoose. Some brutes as far as i can tell"
