Note to everyone:Please check the era before posting ships. We need something during the Rise of the Empire Era. Ships from the Old Republic are too old and obsolete, and those from the Rebellion Era had not yet been invented [/b][/i][/quote] Eight years after Revenge of the Sith would put us in the Rebellion era, just an early part of it. I am excluding Rebellion era ships that specifically state that they were released after the time were dealing with, but it might be possible to use some rebellion era ships if we really can't find anything better. Anyways number of passengers apparently just equals the number of passenger cabins. So we could fit more people on board some of these ships, just some of us would have nowhere to sleep.

I thought that the year had been set to 11BBY, Eleven years before the start of the Rebellion Era.

The Rebellion was going on long before the Battle of Yavin. According to the books I was going by the Rebellion era started pretty much immediately after the Revenge of the Sith.

I'm basing all of this on info found on Wookiepedia, which states that the Rebellion Era officially began at 0 BBY
I'd say that our best bet with Mon Calamari would be the Crix.

I think the Ceremonail ship would be our best fit because we could fit to our own needs....and question would you even consider a droid a passenger aboard a ship

I've been thinking about that, and I Think they could be put into cargo if needbe, but generally they would be in the main passenger area, so they would be considered passengers.

I don't know. The cerimonial ship looks hudge, it could be a capital ship for all we know. It also seems very distinctive and important. Noticible. Not the sort of thing that people hiding from the Empire would want.
I think we should have a ship that we actually know something about.

Y'know what I vote for? I found a ship that is unique, somewhat familiar, can fit everyone, and won't attract too much attention- The YT-2000 Light Freighter. It's got good shielding, it comes with guns (that the captain will have illegally upgraded, of course. ), and it fits up to 11 people- that is, eleven beds in the cabins. Seems like the perfect ship to me.

Only problem is that Mon Calamari are very opposed to that kind of thing however I guess he could of bought the ship and it already it installed and he just went with it because he needed a ship. Or that this is one of your charcters ship and my guy was just hired to fly and "captain" the thing

The Action VI is ugly. I like the Barloz and the Amphibious Interstellar Assault Transport/infantry. And the Deepwater.

The YT has just about everything we need, perhaps if we used an earlier model...
777, Aesthetics are the last thing we need to be worrying about. This RP is text-based anyway!

The YT-2000 and the Deep Water are about the same. I think the Deep Water is the beter fit.

How is it better? The YT-2000 is an easier ship to find on the market, and infinitely more customizable, so that the ship we're on will have personality... And the DeepWater is, when you think about it, much more distinctive, and thus more noticable, when our characters are supposed to be mildly inconspicuous...
