After discussing it with Apollo, I decided to bring this up.
I think there should be a restriction on Elite Majors and whatnot, seeing as they have almost identical combat abilities to SPARTAN's and greater numbers.

We shouldn't have too many restictions. That would drive people away. No one wants to be limited to only having Elite Minors or marines. (We usually have a handful of NPC minors and/or marines in any given scenario, they just usualy don't get mentioned unless they do something important or get killed in a notable way. ) It is true Elites with the rank of Major or higher are just about as powerful as Spartans, but I'm more concerned with trying to stay in canon, not limiting anyone's character's strength or authority. (While there were only a few hundered Spartans there are thousands, maybe billions, of Elites. So having 20 or so Elites in one place would not be as odd as the same number of Spartans ending up in the same area.) There should, however, pobably be a limit on higher ranks like Zealots and Councilors. We ended up with a mess earlier when we had four or five high ranking characters in the same place without any clear distintion of who was in charge. To be fair, we could say that each member is allowed one Spartan character, but to have any more than that they need to ask. (So someone who wants a powerful character, but isn't a fan of Elites can still have fun.) And for the Elites, if you want to have a character ranked higher than, say, an Ultra permission is also needed. How does that sound?

It's a good move, a move that makes sense. Don't be questioning our moving. Our moving us undeniable. I don't bow down to anyone I'll question you and anyone all I want. I do what I do. Besides, I KNOW for a fact it's because of ME. That's why I moved them all to a single page, just so no one will give me any problems or frustration. 1: I'm a Communist, and we don't believe in questioning the state. I don't find myself inclining towards sympathy to your position. 2: It's not because of you, as we stated. Please don't keep up that shit... 3: And per Indy somewhat, but I'm not sure if we want complete dicks with SPARTANs. If it's someone's first SPARTAN, Indy, feel free to unreservedly pass it through upon request, however it might be good to make sure you've still got backup veto power.

There's no way every member is having a SPARTAN, IMO, it would be ridiculous. I honestly think Tom should be the only member with a SPARTAN, seeing as his is the new Master Chief. A couple here and there is ok, as long as they have some damn good profile history and whatnot.

Although I agree, we'd have some pretty pissed off members.

That's ridiculous to suggest I should be the only one with a SPARTAN.

SPARTANs are fun, yes, and so people will want to RP them. That's part of the attraction of a Halo Role Play. I'm not very important/special, and so I shouldn't be alone in my having one.

I only meant because your character is the Master Chief, not because of who you are, lol.

A couple here and there is ok, as long as they have some damn good profile history and whatnot. Yeah. For new members, we might want to start a seperate Halo roleplay, like, say, RvB style in the OoU section? That way, everyone can have a SPARTAN, but only the good ones/ones that were here beforehand can be used in the main RP. And, as per other people, yeah. Every member gets at least one SPARTAN free off, but as per me, only really good ones get to be used in the RP. That's how I see it. That's ridiculous to suggest I should be the only one with a SPARTAN. I agree with that one. Really, there was only one SPARTAN in the Halo trilogy, but now you get control of a few teams of SPARTANs in Halo Wars and we know there are dozens more. Although everyone except John, the guys in the Dyson Sphere, and Maria are very much dead. Only some are MIA. Besides, we should give people an equal chance. More restrictions should be placed if a user suddenly places an influx of SPARTANs. And I'm not talking about the users on here right now, I'm talking about any users that might join this board in the future. That's how I see it.

I agree that people should only have one Spartan and like you or someone said before here..you should have an admin approve if you can have a Spartan and possibly if your acting like a total a$$ with your Spartan remove it after you recieve a warning or two (so you have time to make a new charcter) and also I have decided to not use black team or rather my one Spartan after "budget cuts" on black team as well I have decided that I am only using some ODSTs I will make and their tanks but I am makeing a Spartan III which leaves me to another point that if people want a new Spartan they should make Spartan III as they can be "mass produced" and seeing how I have a Councilor Elite do you think I should still keep him or do you think I can't handle.

Don't worry about characters you've already created Specs. Just from this point on, you have to ask.
