The return aboard the Rifter ships to the great floating fortress battle station above the United Nations Space Command's planet of Arcadia was swift and true, the Master Chief being dropped off along with the rest of the United Nations Space Command troops from Emerald Cove. Reunited with Setara once more, Master Chief Matt-081 had enjoyed a reunion with the Artificial Intelligence unit once more. Although only that, Matt had served for quite some time with her, and the two had formed a strong bond. Matt had heard of such things happening, most notably between the fabled Master Chief John-117 and Cortana, before their death. After the initial greeting from Setara, Matt had ensured that Charlie was okay, before leaving her to get herself changed and ready privately. He smiled, to himself; he was missing her already. Setara had asked who the young woman was, and Matt had answered; it was good for him to share such new emotions with Setara, who he knew would understand. Setara, to Matt's slight surprise, hadn't laughed as he'd suspected she would. He wouldn't have minded, anyway. Washed and ready Matt had, once again, donned his red SPARTAN armour for the meeting Supreme Commander of the United Nations Space Command Cassandra Hellenes had called; he was supposed to be seen at such events wearing his proper regalia, and his armour counted as that. The room was a wide, circular basin shaped design, balconies running along the top before ending to leave a gap before the front of the room. Seats were arrayed all around, whilst a large, wooden desk was set up at the front, lecterns built into it. Three of them; two where the Supreme Commander's would permanently sit, Vladislav Arrakeen and Cassandra Hellenes, and one where a speaker, if called to speak, would stand, although they wouldn't occupy the lectern permanently. Often, Matt occupied it, however he, today, stood at the side. A member of the command of Arthulia stood at the speakers lectern, giving his account, before Supreme Commander Hellenes made her speech, regarding what was to be done next. *** Supreme Commander Cassandra Hellenes of the United Nations Space Command had received the reports from Arthulia with annoyance, at first, before the magnitude of what had happened dawned on her. An entire United Nations Space Command world and the death of Commander Throll was no laughing matter! As the deputy of Throll's speech came to an end, Cassandra rose, gravely. "Gentlemen, ladies." She began, her voice echoing around the chamber, her black hair tied back. "The Covenant Remnant have, once again, resurfaced. Arthulia IV came under assault from the Covenant Remnant and, at the expense of our control of the planet and of the lives of Commander Throll and other such brave men, many were able to escape. We, however, must act if we're not to lose more to this new threat. What, ladies and gentlemen, do you believe we should do?"

Creathnach sat with a group of Elite Majors. They listened to the speech and as soon as the Supreme Commander had posed the questioned all in the room jumped up and clouded the room with chatter. The decision among the Elites was near unanimous: Fight back. Some of the more crazed among them, Creathnach included, raised their weapons above their heads and yelled. The humans shrunk back from the Elites in fear, not wanting to be on the wrong end of these bloodthirsty monsters. However, it only took a glare from the Supreme Commander to silence them.
When silence was restored an Elite Major stood up and said, "Supreme Commander, with all due respect, why is this even necessary? The answer is obvious! We must fight! We were unprepared for their first attack, but now we are ready! By tomorrow we could deliver a crushing blow to them!" This got a rousing yell of approval from many Elites, even some humans.

Charlie stood outside the conference room in her much more comfortable black and dark blue recreational uniform. She doesn't particularly like it, but was a nice change from the stuffy O.D.S.T armour. She lent against the wall with her arms crossed, she did have her ear up against the door, but the guards moved her away. She could hear the uproar from the Elites on the other other side, but it killed her not knowing what was going on. While frowning towards the door, a very tall man with short blond hair walked past and flashed his I.D to the guards. They saluted and opened the doors immediately.
Chandler entered the room, hopefully un-noticed and took a seat near the back with few other human observers.

Councilor Katar Yamos sat in the conference room listening to the Supreme Commander of the UNSC. "I agree with the major we must deal with this threat immediatly..they have already made an attack on our homeworld" said Katar as he growled. "not to worry we managed to take care of them and damage was not too severe" said Katar.

In the same way Matt had reunited with Setara, Russel had rejoined Jacobs.
Suddenly, Jacobs, out of nowhere, said "Hey."
Russell turned and grabbed his datachip, placing it in. "Hey. For a second there on EC, thought I'd never see you again." Jacobs was puzzled. "EC?"
After a few minutes, Jacobs knew everything there was to know about Emerald Cove. After he folded, he went to take a bath before patching up and dressing in new clothes. He then donned his armor and went into the conference room.
When the Elites had roused to fight back, Russell then stood up. "Supreme Commander, if I may speak." He then proceeded to say that the only times they were on the offense in the Human-Covenant War were the Halos and the Ark/High Charity. He finished by saying they should travel to Arthulia and cleanse the system of the Remnant so they don't pose a threat. This gained him approval from the Elites as he waited for the Supreme Commander's response.

Cassandra raised one eyebrow at the over-zealous Elite reaction; she wouldn't have expected anything less, however, to be fair. The Brutes and the Elites had a bloody past, however, and the obvious reaction was the one that did occur. "Quiet!" Cassandra called, over the war cries, banging her fist on the wooden lectern until quiet ensued. "I agree, Elites; we do need to fight back, most obviously. This can't go unanswered." The war cries increased in volume again, until Cassandra managed to calm them down once more. "However... Attacking Arthulia directly would lose us men we really can't afford to lose." She said, in response to Russell, the SPARTANs, question. "If we were, however, to launch an assault on Doisac, the Brute homeworld..." Further cheering emerged from the Elites, as Cassandra began almost to bellow in order for her voice to be heard. "Bombing them into submission would force them to retreat from Arthulia, thereby ending the "invasion" now. Their main force is away; we can capitalise. That's my counter argument, SPARTAN."

Russell thought for a second. After a long pause, he finally asked, "When can we get enough forces to travel to Doisac? After all, most efforts are going towards reconstructing our civilization. I just need to know whether we can attack Doisac within the next three months to six months. If not possible within this period, I don't think it would be a viable strategy."

Zarra sighed listening to the discussion, unsure if she was more bored or frustrated. "If you wait that long you will not have a civilization to rebuild," she muttered quietly.

"yes I agree with the Spartan we can not take to long to attack the Covenant Remnants as the longer we take the more time they have to build their own forces...and yes I to want to know when we can attack the vermins homeworld" said Katar as he laughed. He sighed he shouldn't of included his hatred for the brutes in here.

"Shouldn't you be at that conference?" Lachlan asked, pouring himself another drink. Anau let out a chuckle and moved his glass over. "I'll take that as a no?" Lachlan laughed, pouring him another shot. "That's a no," Anau smiled. "Politics are just so..." "Useless?" Lachlan suggested. "I was thinking more towards boring, but yes, politics are useless," Anau laughed. The two then paused and sat awkwardly in the mess hall. "You know, I wasn't too sure I'd ever see you again," Lachlan said, taking a sip. "Did you miss me, human?" Anau laughed, throwing his head back and emptying the glasses contents down his throat. "Steady on," Lachlan laughed. "And no, I didn't, but still," "I would have missed you too, human," Anau smiled, placing his hand on Lachlans shoulder. "Now, serve me another,"

"Three to six months?" Chandler question. "Now look here," he said, standing up. "In three months the Covie bastards could attack us twice, if we're going to retaliate, we can't waste a single second, our attack needs to be now and ten times more brutal then those Remnants could be ready for. We need to let'em know, we won this war for a reason and they should just sit the f**k down and stay down. That's my two cents," he said, then sitting down but to quickly rise up again. "Pardon the colourful language," he added, then sitting down again.

Katar chuckled to himself. "the only reason you won the war is because of that fact that we helped you" thought Katar to himself. "Supreme Commander can you have you forces ready in at least a mounths time we can not delay our attack for to long or like the human said they will attack us most likely kill countless civilians just because we waited to long" asked Katar. *** "shouldn't you be at that meeting you were suppose to go to human" asked Grim. "yeah but its probally boring besides I have better things to do" said Specs. "like what" asked Grim. "well I have to fill out the paper work to get a new ship" said Specs as he continued filling out the form. "so you would rather sit in your room and do paper work then go to a meeting" asked Grim. "yep" said Specs.

Russell listened to them.
After a few minutes, he complied. "Commander, we should marshal forces in a month's time and get them ready to leave. Like everyone is saying," he continued, "if we don't then countless civvies can be killed on another colony world."

"A month?" Zarra grumbled. "This is pointless. Why am I even here?" She sighed. Quietly getting up and leaving. The halls were empty and silent, save for the rumble of talk from the meeting, and distant laughter. She followed the sound of laughter to the mess hall and looked in. "Well, at least it sounds like someone is having a good time," she sighed, "I'm sorry, I hope I'm not interrupting your conversation. I was going insane with boredom at that meeting, and I couldn't think of anything better to do."

Cassandra glared at Katar, making demands of one he'd prior accepted to be his superior when they joined the United Nations Space Command. "In actual fact, ladies and gentlemen..." Cassandra breathed in, before the uproar that would follow her words. "Our ships are ready and prepared for such an attack." A silence of shock ran over the hall. "We, when you've readied yourself, will be ready to set out within the week. Speed is critical to the success of this mission, this we appreciate, and so we were rather speedy in setting up." Cassandra smiled. "And we've done it so we're ready to move within a week." She smiled, disarmingly at Katar. "Not within the month." She placed her hands flat on the lectern and leant forwards, surveying the Elites. "It's time, our Sangheili brothers, for you to prepare yourselves. Shipmasters, mistresses, ready your troops, ready your men! Councillors, commanders, ready your soldiers! Doisac shall burn and the Brutes shall be drawn back to it like moths to a burning flame!" Loud cries of "UNSC oorah!" Greeted Cassandra's words, amidst the applause, as Cassandra smiled and leant back. Doisac would draw the Brutes back to them, yes.

"Oorah!" Chandler cheered, jumping to his feet and raising his fist high into the air. "Oorah!" he cheered once more along with a few marines. "Time to suit up," he said with a smile to the man next to him. He exited the room and was greeted by a woman who he had seen waiting in the same spot when he entered. "Hey, what's going?" she ask him. "We're goin' back to war darlin'!" Chandler replied, then running down the hall. "I'll be in the armoury!" he yelled out as he turned down the corner.
Charlie stood there confused and entered the conference room. People were huddled in small groups discussing what was going to happen next. She pieced together that the U.N.S.C would be attacking something, the Brute home world apparently. She finally made her way through the crowds and saw him to the side of Commander Hellenes. She waved to get his attention and gestured for him to come down.

"You aren't interrupting at all, join us," Anau said happily, moving over to another seat to make room. "Yeah, have a seat," Lachlan said, bringing up another glass. "You're Zarra, right?" he asked. "Good to see you and the giant are still close," Anau sighed and turned to Zarra. "The human and I have came to an agreement, because we both somehow lack the ability to call each other by our given names, we have compiled a list of appropriate, what the human calls, nick names," "Right," Lachlan nodded. "I can call him Elite, giant or basher," he said, adding a growl to the 'er'. "I came up with that," he said proudly. "And I can call him Human, brother or fainter," Anau said with a chuckle. "I still resent that last one," Lachlan sighed. "I think it suites you," Kelly said with a giggle. "Only because it insults me, right?" Lachlan asked. "Right," Kelly replied.
