You may remember my plans to travel around Australia with a few mates, you may also remember the plan where I ditch my mates and go around Europe with two sheilas. Scrap'em both cos I got a better one. I'm not sure what you call it in the States or UK, but after our final year at school, we celebrate schoolies. Schoolies is a week for us school leaves to get drunk and wake up next to someone you don't even remember talking to. Traditionally, the place to go is the Gold Coast. But me and the mates thought 'bugger that, let's be different' I personally didn't want to go their anyway. New plan, we go to an Island. We semi-planned it today at school, because in all seriousness, we need to make bookings etc. We're going to a place called 'Hamilton Island' I have no idea where that is, all I know is that we're going there by plane and it'll set me back $700 'Just to be safe' quoting my mate Gaz there. So, we have (I'm sure they wont mind me using their names): * Gary * Ryan * Ryan's mate... I forget his name * Ryan's GF, Maddie * and myself. Though there may be room for a 'mysterious 6th person' quoting Gaz again. So, if any of you guys *coughIndicough* want to tag along, we have room for one more I really want to know what you guys, so Indi and Tom, did after school for a celebration. So yeah, that's the plan.

Cool, I'm not sure if I'll be going to schoolies next year (I'm in year 11 this year). But if I can go with my mates, I will. The island thing sounds cool, just don't think about LOST while on the plane there .

Sounds like fun, I don't think I could get enough money to go anywhere anytime soon.
After graduation my friends and I didn't do anything too crazy. We went to a park, hung out, and played music until they kicked everyone out. Then we went and got ice cream. Then almost everyone went home. We went to one of my friend's houses and tried to find something to do and ended up having a water balloon fight in his backyard. Then we left him behind. We decided to just drive around in the countryside after that, and eventually ended up on Delong road, which, we discovered after driving for about a half an hour, wasn't named after some French guy, it really was "de long road." (None of us know French, we thought it sounded French. XD ) We didn't actually get lost, I just got home a little later than I thought I would. That was about it. It was only a few hours, and it was cheap, random fun, but we still had a good time. We did eventually go on a trip, but that was later, and I'll save that for another post.

Lucky Coconut, he gets to go everywhere. I've never left the country. I haven't even been farther west than Indiana. I've only been to the ocean twice, once when I was nine or ten, and once last year. I want to go somewhere! Somewhere new. I just don't know how I would get anywhere on what little money I have.
Anyways, I didn't do anything for a senior prank, but I remember someone throwing water balloons in the hall after lunch in the last week of school. That was about it. Why do I keep mentioning water balloons?

I've never left the country either. I've been across Australia to see my dad, but that's the furthest I've ever been. But yeah, I've saved almost every pay check I got since I started work, I purchased my sweet-ass TV and now a holiday and hopefully after that a car. I'm not broke yet

Our pranks were fantastic; I remember them today. It involved paint. Lucky Coconut, he gets to go everywhere. Yes, whilst I recognise that, to be fair, we did save up for a hell of a long time.

I actually had a good amount of money fresh out of high school. Then I got a car, a computer, a road trip with my friends, and the rest went toward tuition and textbooks. Now I have about $14.58 When ever my family tries to save up for something, some big disaster happens. Like the one of the cars stops working, or someone knocks a big hole in the bathroom wall, or someone breaks their arm and has to go to the hospital. It's like fate has decided no one in our family will ever have any money saved up for anything fun.

It may help that I don't live with my parents, and so don't need to worry about losing my money to them.

Of course I don't have to pay rent, or buy my own food.

Of course I don't have to pay rent, or buy my own food. Heh, true. Those costs aren't too bad for me, though; my two flatmates and I split the costs, and it's not so bad.
