"Accursed demon-spawn!" Zarra snarled, "How dare you taint the sacred language of the Covenant with your blasphemous mouth!"
"Yeah, I think you're going to need a different approach," Diana agreed.

Amy-Lee continued searching frequencies for anything speaking English or at least Human, but all she got was static. She wasn't one to lose hope, though. She kept searching while the others continued to interrogate the Elite.
"Maybe sign language?" Jack said, chuckling proudly once again.
"How do you say 'I'm going to slit your throat, you dirty spilt jawed lizard' with your hands?" Marcas asked, glaring at the creature.
"Marcas, stop it," Martin hushed, "We shouldn't frighten it, say we'll let it go, softly, if it tells us what we want."
"Hey!" Verve suddenly called, "I'm getting something!" Martin immediately rushed over to her, hoping his technical expertise could help. He hooked up his PDA to the radio and began tapping away while Verve slightly twisted knobs to make a voice fade in and out.
"...East... long-... south by-... twenty-two... inbound Heavy..."
"It's a military frequency," Martin confirmed, "No idea who they're talking to."
"Mayday, mayday, mayday! This is Gunnery Sergeant Verve pinned down at ONI Site: Delta, does anyone copy?"
The two waited for a response, but all they got was the exact same message, though slightly more distorted.
"It must be a broadcast," Martin said with a sigh, "I'll try boost it more, give me something to do..."
After a few minutes, Martin was able to make the message replay even clearer. "...Inbound from the south-east. All forces make the pu-...Longswords avai-...FFG-Two Twenty-Two to clear the w-...Cor-... MAC rounds authorised. Saratoga inbound heavy. We'll take care of i-..."
"FFG-222," Verve repeated, "That's a Frigate,"
Martin nodded, "Something big's going down."

Darman glanced around at the rest of the squad. A Frigate? "They're not going to shoot that thing down right over our heads, are they?" he asked with a bit of concern. "MAC rounds....," he shrugged, "Should be interesting, to say the least."

" [listen up my buddies here are about ready to kill you....I will say this again tell us what we want and we will let you go....or continue to resist and well maybe we will carve several marks of shame on you and let you go to your buddies shamed,dishonored, they might kill you themselves....your a medic the most shameful position in the Covenant what with making people bleed dishonorably and all. So are you going to work with me medic, do we have to carve you up, or should we spare you the dishonor of being captured by lowly humans and kill you right now ] " reasoned Lebron having found out using his research that this was a rare find...a medic. He pulled out his combat knife to ensure he was serious.

"We can't even be sure where this is coming from," Martin told Darman.
"We should find a way to talk back to them, that would at least be a st-"
The ceiling suddenly seemed to collapse. An explosion tore a massive hole in the roof, filling the room bellow in a cloud of dust. The explosive devise focused the force of the explosion downward, sending it's shock wave into room creating a shock and awe effect. The Elites began dropping into the room while everyone else was hopefully disorientated.
The explosion forced Jack out of the room and into the hall. He smashed through one of the halls windows, half hanging out of it, completely dazed. After realising half his body was hanging out a window, that he was staring down at the ground below, he pulled himself back inside and collapsed onto the ground.
Anau landed feet first into the room. It was full of dust but he was able to make out a few Human figures. Let the slaughter commence. He lifted his sword and jabbed a Human foot soldier, and then another. More Elites dropped into the room, spreading out in search for a Demon. There were four Elites in total.

Targa heard the explosion and hurried back to the hall. "Come!" he waived to the Elites that had stayed behind, "They have broken through! The humans are now scattered and disorganized!" ((OoC: I can almost hear the voice of that Elite that gives objectives in Invasion saying that line. )) * * * Diana brought an Elite's shields down, then chased it out into the hall, where it turned to face her. It roared in anger at not being allowed to take cover while it was weak, and kicked her away. Recovering quickly, Diana charged once more and hit the Elite in the face with the butt of her rifle. * * * Zarra immediately began gnawing at her restraints, praying she could get away before any of the other Elites discovered that she had been captured. Not only was it humiliating, but she could be in a great deal of trouble.

Jack, still in a daze, watched as Diana threw an Elite from the room, then as it kicked her, and then her appropriate response. He managed to stand up and leaped onto the Elite's back, drawing his combat knife and driving it into the back of it's neck. He turned then to face three Elites charging him and Diana, one Ultra and two Spec Ops. He began moving backwards while firing on one of the Spec Ops Elite's. It's shields were soon depleted and sure enough it soon succumbed to his weapon, falling in a heap in front of Jack. Half way through reloading, another Elite leaped over its fallen brothers body with a raised fist. Jack looked up in horror but there was nothing he could do.
Ream punched the Demon as hard as she could in its face, causing him to spin around and fall to the ground; she regretted not activating her dagger. As she lifted her Repeater to fire, a large object was suddenly flung from inside the room, striking her on her side, forcing her to lose her balance and stumble. The object was a Human corpse. Enraged, she fired a few shots inside and then turned to finish off her Demon. It was gone. She roared with frustration and began frantically looking about the hall; it couldn't have gotten far. Instead she came across another, smaller one. She opened fire.
***
Several seconds earlier.
Anau desperately struggled to hold back a Spartans blade as it attempted to cut him. Anau growled as he slowly began to force the Demons arm away from him, to finally kick him in his gut, sending him across the room. Anau's squad was outnumbered, all these Humans needed to die before they could become organised. With his sword still drawn, he squired another shellshocked Human, lift his corpse into the air, then finally pulling him off his blade and tossing the body out of the room. It didn't seem fair to Anau to be killing the Humans that didn't know what was going on. Perhaps one that did. One, a female, stood in the corner with her rifle while being defended by a Demon. She spotted Anau looking at him through the dust, then as he slowly began moving towards her. She opened fire, Anau dodged left and right to avoid as many as the projectiles as he could, but as he got close enough to strike, he was tackled by her demon protector.
He landed on his back with the Demon sitting on top of him, thumbling for a weapon. Anau's head flung back and hit the floor. He spotted something then, an Elite sitting down nawing at its restraints, a medic. He looked at her, confused for a moment... and then desperately. That medic was the closest to him, and the only one close enough to save him.

Darman shook his head, trying to clear the light and sound that had assaulted his senses after the blast. His ears rang, rifle fire hammering in his head as he tried to process his surroundings. Covenant Elites filtered in through the haze, and he desperately tried to bring his carbine to bear. One seemed to turn its attention to him, and its jaws split into an impossibly wide grin.
It opened fire, a hail of plasma ripping through the smoke as it growled in an alien tongue. Several rounds slapped against his shields, and while he managed to stumble out of the path of the worst of them, disorientation was threatening to overcome him. He dropped to his hands and knees behind an overturned table, trying to clear his head. The Elite rapidly closed the gap, vaulting over the makeshift barricade. He heard the whine of an energy weapon powering up, and an overchage washed over him. His HUD flickered, alarms echoing in his head as his shields struggled to recharge. He fumbled for his weapon, snapping it up and sending a stream of return fire across the alien's torso. It staggered back, and he fired another volley. It snarled, leaping into the air, as if to bludgeon him with its own sidearm. He slammed his carbine into the creature's chest, sending it crashing to the ground. He struggled to his feet, as he heard the warrior's shields burst. There was a brief staccato, alien gore spattering across his armor. With a ragged exhale, he turned his attention to the other targets.
This was definitely going to be a long day...

Zarra saw the warrior's pleading look and nodded. She made one last attempt at the restraints, then gave up and rolled closer to the warrior, angling her body right to give the demon that had tackled him a strong kick with both of her bound legs.
* * *
Diana danced around the next Elite that came to face her. Moving closer, while trying to avoid it's fire. Finally she saw an opening and rushed in, knocking it's shields down with a punch then reaching for her sidearm in hopes of taking it out with a quick shot to the head. Before she could draw the weapon, however, the Ultra appeared out of nowhere. He pulled her away from the other Elite and slammed her into a wall, then he laughed tauntingly as he activated a sword with his free hand.

Lebron tackled that Ultra that was about to kill that female Spartan. He pulled out his own energy sword to take care of this elite....however this elite would probably all he could kill with it as it only had two charges left (20% battery).
" didn't somebody teach you it is not nice to hit a lady " said Lebron having given up on his translator so he turned it off.

Jack then appeared with his assault rifle down the hall and popped off (OoC: Nearly wrote pooped. xD) a few short bursts at Ream. She responded by turning about and firing her Repeater. He would have targeted the Ultra, but another Spartan had beaten him to Diana's rescue. The two then engaged in a small fire fight, ducking in and out of rooms.

Martin finally managed to pull out his M6, but another Elite came out of nowhere and kicked him in the face. "Ow!" He called out, falling off his Elite and onto the ground. Anau immediately rolled over and scanned the Sangheili that rescued him, obviously a captive, a female, and a medic. She should not be here.
He reactivated his sword and stood up to finish off the Demon. Martin had managed to stand too and was readily aiming his M6. Anau made the first move, he lowered his sword, ready to make an upper-diagonal slice. Martin managed to fire one shot before Anau successfully cutting his armour. Martin jumped back when he saw the attack coming; luckily the Elite's sword only managed to cut open his armour. With the Demon on the ground, scuttling away like a coward, Anau turned and faced the female medic. Although he was thankful for the her help, she was out of place. Far out of place. He stomped over to her and grabbed her by the back of her neck, "What are you doing here!?"

"Helping?" Zarra replied timidly. "I was just doing my job, and a demon came out of nowhere..." She added quickly.
* * *
Diana slipped away, while the Ultra was preoccupied. The Spartan that had rescued her seemed to have things under control, so she hurried off in search of another target.
* * *
Targa quickly brought his sword around to block the demon's sword. It was impressive that it had managed to acquire one, but humans were always clumsy with energy swords; they lacked the years of training with them that he had gone through.

Anau glared furiously at the medic and squeezed the back of her neck, "Get out of here!" He roared, tossing her in the direction of the door. He strongly opposed females being on the battlefield, even if they were used as medics. Their place was elsewhere.
He turned back to the battle and charged another Spartan.

((OoC: I assume he cut her lose. )) Zarra growled defiantly at the warrior as he left, then climbed to her feet, reactivated her camouflage and stalked out of the room. She considered staying, just because of the fuss the Spec-Ops Elite had made, but when she saw the Ultra that had scolded her earlier, she hurried away. She didn't like the idea of them teaming up to shout at her more, if one of them caught her again.

Lebreon took a Spartan pause to consider his next move.....should he do his imitation of elite swordmenship....or..should he change it up and doing some wild and unorthodox...something that a swordsmen would never do in elite culture. He shrugged and he swung the blade at the elite again he would need some more time to study this elite's battling style before he made a decison so for know he would fight defensively and standard elite style.
