I know I am not in charge of the current storyline but still this is just a poll seeing if you would want to fight the flood again whether the admins decided to pull them into this storyline or they get their own storyline (which I have an idea for just sayin )

That would be nice, but would be very difficult to shoehorn in: at the end of Halo 3, their Gravemind is dead, very few samples remain, and the only ones left are on the other Halo rings.
Of course, we could have the Flood break out during the battle (a la Installations 04 and 05) and have a part where my character tries to stop them, but fails and the Flood escape yet again. And this time Humanity would have nearly nowhere to run: Russ would get massive guilt and a thirst for vengeance, possibly becoming overwhelmed with rage when Flood are spotted.
It wouldn't be too much rage, i.e. he wouldn't go to all lengths including suicide to stop them: after all, he's the one that's declared vendetta against them. So far, my character has been the joker: adding a twinge of rage-fueled Spartan warrior would really bring my character to new levels.
However, it's up to the Administrators, so I don't mind if it doesn't happen.

I vote for Floods ONLY if we get to do an epic Zombie-Survival style rp following this thread. Zombie Survival + Halo = Win. It's been proven by science.

I have a feeling the Flood is one of those things that will never be gone forever. Even if it was eliminated from the Milky Way galaxy, it could still come back, (toward the end of Halo 3, the Gravemind basicly said that he had already infested a bunch of other galaxies and that blowing him up wasn't going to kill him, it would just slow him down). Also, we're already on a ring, a place where Flood may very well be, and it probably won't be the last Forerunner structure we see either. So there are no problems whatsoever with finding a way to bring it back, it all depends on how many people want it back and how we'll work it in.
And yes, with Flood there must be a survival horror feel to the story.

Thats what I love about the flood a) a single spore and can destroy an entire planet b) They never seem to go away
Aaand like Indi said it so quite easy to bring them back
Plus technically we could do a "zombie" rp with them.

Grim releases them and spores or even an infection form gets into a Pelican stows away . Maybe Otto's ship gets some flood growths on the bottom? Idk just some ideas to get the Flood in less of a cool fashion. The idea that I had in a seperate flood storyline (but can most certainly work here) is that the Flood grow rampant on this Jungle Planet called Panterra where the infection is let lose and it gains enough biomass and lifeforms is able to make it from deep from this ruined Forerunner structure in the jungles of Panterra to the small human settlements to maybe say city? With this population finally they get a smart enough lifeform for at least one Brainform to pilot a Flood Frigate that would show up somewhere I know I am not Indi but I thought I would help

Alright, let's say a lone Rifter ship tries to get away. My guy gets on it with a Spartan Laser (one shot and it's gone), but the ship is discovered to have Flood growths. Making it more urgent, my guy fires the laser, only for the gunship to detonate larger than unexpected and rain Infection Forms, Carrier Forms, and possibly spores all over the landscape.
That actually sounds plausible.

No, no, no. All wrong. Make it a POSSIBLE accident. Keep in mind how accidents in the previous games were started.
One- A group of marines find a bogus distress signal or get shot down. They live and take cover in an underground facility. To which, a marine finds a control panel and goes to touch it- when he does, the panel flares red and a bunch of doors openning are heard in the distance, followed by a bunch of screams, and thus, the flood are released, in their primal stage.

Mitch I would not go as far to say me and spartys idea are "All Wrong" just saying as long as it a possibility in the Halo Universe then it is a suggestion that can be used and is not a Wrong Answer. Really in a suggestion there is no such thing as a WRONG suggestion...as long as it has some degree of sense then it is wrong. Granted yes we could stick with how the game did it and have somebody somehow accidently find where the flood are stored and released them. we are going to have be different then the game and have at least one flood spore, infection form, growth pod or carrier form get off the ring. We don't even have to use a Halo Ring or a Forerunner Installation to bring them back. What is stopping the Flood from other galaxys (had to been at least planet, place on a planet/moon/celestial body with flood on in with spaceflight capability or an ability to do dormant with cryo to make it here to the Milky Way. Just because the Flood in the Milkly Way was killed all those years ago by Halo does not mean the flood can't do it again....just saying so we do not have to unleashed the thread on this Halo Ring or find them. They can come to us

I like the idea of Otto's ship picking up some infection forms, then they could run amok on the ship as our characters are heading back from the ring.
Maybe a group of marines can be scouting around the area where the ship lands, wander into a Forerunner building, and open some doors that should have stayed closed. There is then a small Flood incursion outside the ship, and a few infection forms slip by and get on board. Then, after we leave the Ring, we lose contact with part of the ship, like an engine room or something. Some people are sent to investigate, and when they open the door, Flood come swarming out.

This means Flood in the Halo RP.
There's a zombie RP in the OoU section.
