Above the city of Aura, in the dark skies of Soll'rah, a Light-Pack of 10 Holy Warriors sore through the clouds in perfect formation. One by one, they swoop down and strike the ground like lightning. The first warrior landed, kneeling on the cold and wet concrete ground, with his metallic wings fully extended. He rose as his wings folded back into their holster. Grasping his staff, he gazed upon what the Seraphalls had dubbed The Black Throne, the building containing Landon Kyoraku Icarus. A second warrior landed, and stood behind his brother, "He is there," "Half Human, half Demon," the first added. A third landed, "An abomination," And a fourth, "He is foul," The fifth, "He must be destroyed." The other five warriors landed, armed with Swords of Light and Energy Staffs. "The balcony..." the first warrior thought aloud. "It is our entrance," one said. "God give us strength; for Avalon," "Light-Pack, ascend!" Their wings expanded and lit, one at a time, nine warriors took off and scaled The Black Throne's walls before reaching the top floor. Landons room. Gracefully and quietly, the warriors touched down on the balcony. A warrior moved forward and pushed the door open with his staff. They creeped inside, each warriors gaze fixed upon the sleeping abomination. They positioned themselves around the room, and one approached Landon on his bed. Nothing could be heard, the only sound was the light breeze flowing through the open balcony door. A warrior stood before Landon, he rose his staff over his head and prepared to lunge it downwards. Each warrior watched eagerly, when suddenly a loud bang lit up the room. The warrior preparing to kill Landon dropped his staff and fell backwards onto the floor. He had been shot in the head, by Landon. "It has awoken!" "Kill it!" The remaining nine warriors prepared themselves, two moved forward, armed with Light Swords and prepared to simultaneously slice the demon. (OoC: Just to stir the pot )

((OoC: OMFG! You outdid yourself, man! Nice job!))
Rue yelped as Landon pushed her off of the bed. "Landon!!!" she screamed, fearing the worst had happened to her future husband. Much to her relief, and some of her fear, he was alright. He was knelt down on one knee, his demon arm glowing dimmly and raised in front of him. Each of the nine blades attempted to make Landon submit, but they were no match for his strength, as he blocked them all with only his demon arm. "I'm alright, love. Please, run. Find Verde. Hurry!" he told his future wife. Rue nodded and ran out out the room. Landon beared his fangs and his blood red eyes began to glow brighter and brighter. He grinned, "This party just got crazy..."he said to himself as he slowely rose. The nine overly-religious assassins put more strength onto their blades, trying even harder to make Landon submit. But it faltered, "...Let's rock!" Landon yelled as he pushed back all of the assassins.
Landon rushed the closest one and literally punched through it's chest. He retracted his hand and picked up it's blade and threw it into another assassin's head. "Haha! Pathetic! You're all pathetic!" he laughed as he scratched another, shredding his armour and flesh. and tossed him into two other's, leading them off of the balcony.
Finnally, there were two left and they cornered Landon. One lunged at him and he managed to stop that one with his devil arm. But the other one caught him by shock and threw him into a wall, and the first threw his blade into Landon at full force, impaling him into the wall. The two remaining assassin's huffed in stisfaction, but their victory was short lived. The first remaining assassin went to inspect Landon up close, only to get his head crushed. Landon huffed. "Getting better..." he said to the final assassin as he pulled himself out of the wall, the blade still being in his chest. He dropped down casually and slowely began to pull the sword out of his chest. "We're kinda the same... you and..." he pulled the blade out and stuck it in his floor. "...I."
((Lachlan, I apologize for god-modding, but I figured this was kinda cool and a great way to show just how powerful Landon is. Please let me keep this post!))

(OoC: Good post, I just had to edit that last bit.)
"You dare say we are similar? We are nothing alike!" the final warrior roared, "You are a stain on this world, and the Seraphalls will clean you from it!" The warrior took a step back, nine of ten warriors came to kill Landon, one was left below. He had risen and landed on the balcony. He entered and stood next to the surviving warrior, aiming his charged staff. "This is for the good of the world." he said, firing the charged shot.

((OoC: it's always a good day when I get to kill something )) "Wha-!? Whoa!" Landon yelled as he dodged then blast of holy energy. He looked to see that he now had less of a wall in his room. "Oh..." his wound was still open, he had to end this if he wanted to live. Landon locked arms with one, managing to disarm it and cut off his right arm, then finishing him by bifurcation. He looked at the remaining one. "A stain eh? Huh. That's what they told me when I was a kid." he walked over to the remaining Seraphall warrior, beginning to stagger from the blood loss. The Seraphall now couldn't back up anymore, but he saw Landon's weakness and lunged at him. Landon caught the blade in his right hand and took it out of the Seraphall's hands. His arm glew brighter and he scratched the Seraphall warrior across the chest like the one before, but leaving an even deeper wound and cutting right through the heart, killing it. Landon staggered over and sat against the wall, holding his chest wound, trying to regenerate it using his devil abilities. His bedroom doors flew open and two figures, followed by seven armoured guards carrying P90 Sub Machine Guns rushed inside. The first, was a small female, looked to be the same age as Landon, she had purplish hair that matched the short nightgown she wore. This was Rue. The second figure, was a male. He had looked to be in his early thirties and wore round glasses. Apart from his black facial hair, his hair was green. He wore a long white lab coat. This was Verde. Rue rushed to Landon's side and her hands began to glow brightly as she healed Landon's wound to a stable state. "You'll live now, Landon. You're alright now, right?" she asked, kissing him. "J-just grazed the heart..." he smiled, breathing heavily and pointing to whee he was impaled into the wall. Verde fixed his glasses and studied the armour of a body that was bifurcated. "Hmpf. You really know how to make a mess, you know that?" Landon laughed faintly, "Style points matter more than killing your enemies, Verde, you know that." he grinned. Verde grinned faintly, "hmhm, while that may be true to you, to the rest of us it isn't," he looked at the couple, "You and your fiancée are alive, that's what matters." Landon nodded. Verde gestured for the guards to leave, "Now, these so called assassins that tried to kill you? They were Seraphall. Those holy warriors. I do believe we just got ourselves in quite the canundrum." "What'll we do?" asked Rue, scared. Landon kissed her to comfort her. "I'm going to make a trip to Seraphall. Have an invasion fleet ready. Have it ready on their borders while I talk to their leader... which would be...?" "Their leader? Last I checked it was a female general of their status." Verde replied. Landon nodded, "Right, then that's where I'll go." "And what of Rue?" Verde asked, examining the armour of another body. Landon looked at her and caressed her face. "You're gonna go to Airavon. You'll be safe there until I get things sorted out." She finished wrapping bandages around Landon's chest and frowned. "You promise?" Landon smiled, "I promise." ((Alright, Airavon is pretty much identical like to Mass Effect 1's level on Novaria, the snow planet. Keep in mind this isn't another country, it's just the name of the mountain ranges.))

Uriel stood at the window of her chambers, over looking her city. Every day she would look out this window and sigh in amazement. Today there was no sigh, no thoughts of astonishment. The large wooden doors to her room swung open, and entered a Holy Warrior, "You summoned me, mistress?" Uriel continued to look out the window, "We have a problem," she said. The warrior gestured for the guards outside her room to shut the doors. When the thud of the doors echoed through the room, the warrior asked; "What is it?" "Landon Kyoraku Icarus is on his way here," she replied. "The half Human, half demon abomination?" the warrior growled. "Indeed," she sighed, turning from the window and facing the warrior, "Ready a Hellguard and double security," "It will be done," the warrior nodded, "To what do we owe the... pleasure, of his visit?" Uriel sighed, "I'm sure it's nothing. Tell me when he has arrived."

((OoC: I'm just gonna push the pendulum foreward if you don't mind, Lachlan my good sir.)) Rue fiddled with her helmet. She stood in the plaza of Port Angelo, just in front of the massive blast-proof window that protected her and everyone else inside, from the deadly snowy terrain on the outside. She sighed and set her helmet next to her on a ledge while she stared out at the winding blizzard. She then watched everyone below and around her. So many happy families, so many people. All without the heavy responsibilities of an entire nation on their shoulders. Not a care in the world... Rue inspected her blood red combat armour. While it stood out like a sore thumb in this area, it was insanely resistant, even for light armour. Her weapons, all secured to her armour's back rack, were all loaded or charged. Her helmet beared her own personal emblem on the top right, just above her lavender tinted visor. She felt safe in this armour. Almost as safe as she'd feel in Landon's arms. A soldier clad in pearl white, light combat armour tapped her on the shoulder. " Lieutenant-Commander, we're ready when you are." he said. Rue turned around and nodded, "Thank you, Sergeant Fenix. I'll be there in a bit." she replied. The soldier saluted to her and left her alone. She pulled a necklace out from under her armour and smiled at it before putting it back inside. She followed the direction the soldier had come from to the awaiting convoy. Her destination? Peak 7. highest point in Soll'rah. There, at the top of the mountains, would be Peak 105. It not only was the most secure military outpost in the northern regions, but it was also the most secluded. But getting there was no easy task at all. It would take at least five days to get there at the speed the convoy would have to go in order to assure a safe travel. Assuming the weather would stay as it was. * * * The convoy consisted of seven Behemoth-class Miniature Moblie Recon Patrol Siege Deployment Personnel and Supply Carriers in single file formation. These mobile mini bases, like the troops they were carrying, were specially camoflagued for the current occasion, being camoflagued in light gray and pearl white. A single carrier could store about twenty-one heavily armed soldiers with massive amounts of supplies, or, at maximum, one Reconnassaince Variant MECH. They were quite fortunate to have been updated with armenants, thanks to Landon, they now have three minigun emplcements and two anti-vehicle cannons. At any time, these massive carriers could activate their ' claws' and lock down to secure a location for a temporary base. Surely, alone, an MMRSD T&S Carrier was a force to be reckoned with. Rue climbed aboard the fourth behind Sergeant Fenix. "Peak 105, huh! This'll be my first time goin'!" a soldier clad in the same armour as Fenix shouted over the rest of the crowd. Sergeant Fenix shoved him in and signaled the convoy to get moving. He pulled a handle on the wall of the carrier and the ramp closed shut. Rue sighed and sat down beside the young soldier that was so eager to go. She looked at the Sniper Rifle wielding soldier, "May I ask who you are?" The young soldier perked up and smiled at her. "I'm Private First Class Daniel Carmine, ma'am. It's an honour to have a woman like yourself as our objective." Rue gave him a confused look. "Well, you know, I'm honoured to be guarding you." he made more sense now. Rue giggled and lightly shoved him. She had a travel buddy now. * * * Landon yawned as he walked to the gates of the Avalon's capital city, Abaddon. It's pearly white walls seemed almost alien to him. He wore his usual attire. A long jet black overcoat witht he right sleeve being much baggier and longer that the left. Over that were his holsters, which were located on his back. His personal blade, ' Bloodied Spirit'(which was a straightened Nodachi katana with a blood red blade, jet black guard and handle), was secured in the centre sheath/holster. His two matte black, heavily modified M1911 Handguns were secured in their respective holster on either side of Bloodied Spirit. He approached the main building, which he assumed was the castle, with ten, heavily armed, Soll'rah troops behind him and on either side. While the citizens on Abaddon stood in awe and astonishment at the half-demon ruler and his guards, Landon addressed a warrior, like the ones he had killed in his room three nights ago. "I'd like to see your leader, Uriel. I have business with her, if I may. ((OoC: Alright, Rue's armour is completely identical to the Light Mercenary armour in Mass Effect 1. The soldiers with her, are weared the N7 armour that you first get in the said game, but it's camoflagued for the surrounding elements. Oh, and yes, they can carry their weapons just like you can in Mass Effect. Except they don't compact or expand in size if they're put away or drawn. Just, normal sized, normal universe, normal firing weapons that are just stored on their back like that.))

(OoC: This is good.)
The warrior took a step back, he grasped his Light Sword and considered making a lunge. Though he had been ordered not to. He stood silently as two other warriors descended from the tower and touched down behind him. "Uriel is expecting you," he said, "She asks that your guards remain here, in the courtyard so that you both can speak privately. When you're ready, please enter through the main doors," the warrior stood aside and pointed out the entrance, "Take the stairs to the top."
***
Uriel stood in a large white room that had been emptied of furniture and displays. Every step, and every breath echoed in this room. Again, she stood at a window, looking below at Landon and his demons. "I can't believe he is going to step foot in my halls," she sighed, resting her head in her hands. "Ryder, these are worrying times," she sighed, turning to the leader of Arixo, "In an attempt to make this world a better place... I fear I have doomed our nations," she said, lowering her head. "However," she grinned, lifting her head, "I have a fail-safe. If he threatens us with war, which he most likely will... then I will strike him where it hurts. As it turns out, the demon has a heart..." The doors to the large room opened and a warrior poked in his head, "Ma'am, sir. Landon is on his way up," Uriel nodded and turned to Ryder, "Thank you for being here. Have you prepared everything?"

"The fighters are ready to launch, mam. Whenever you're ready." He stepped towards the window. "You're city really is amazing..." He surveyed the parade grounds, which had been cleared and was serving as a temporary airfield. Hundreds of fighters sat upon its surface, all of them dwarfed by the massive Juggernaut Ultra Heavy Ground-Attack Platform. He bit his lip. "I hope you know how to handle this", he muttered. He had a bad feeling about this. He was facing enemies with impenetrable armor, weapons that could tear a halftrack to ribbons. He clutched his Luger and turned to the leader of Avalon. "I really hope you know how to handle this..."

Landon nodded in agreement to the guard and gestured for his soldiers to stay. "Guys, switch to your shotguns and keep the safety off, just in case this gets complicated." he said to his guards. They all nodded back and did what Landon asked. "Oh-," Landon snapped his fingers and turned around again to face his soldiers. "We're here on good terms, remember." he grinned, walking up the stairwell. He stared at his surroundings. He was impressed with everything he saw. Finnally he got to the top of the stairwell and entered the room. He saw two figures, a male, and Uriel. "Ah, Ciaossu, Uriel." he greeted, bowing his head.

"Good day, Landon of Soll'rah," Uriel also greeted, forcing a smile. She nodded to the warrior outside and he shut the door once Landon had entered. "Welcome to our nation, welcome to Avalon," she said, extending her arms. As she walked across the incredibly large room, there was an uncomfortable silence and all could be heard were Uriel's footsteps. She stood face to face with the creature her warriors had failed to kill, "I am Uriel," she introduced, "It is a pleasure to finally meet you. And this, is Ryder of the nation of Arixo."

Nathan Ryder touched his fingers to his forehead in a casual salute as he stepped towards Landon. "Commander Nathan Ryder of Arixo. A simple Fighter Pilot that managed to work his way up." His fingers fluttered against the grip of his Luger, then pulled his flight jacket to somewhat conceal the holster. "I understand you two have some... business to attend to."

"Yes. We do. If you don't mind?" Landon gestured toward the door with his devil arm, thus, the sleeve fell back abit and showed off his arm alittle. He then put his hands up and put them in front of him, "Don't get me wrong- I'm sure you're a great person and all, but this is a meeting between me, and that beutiful lady over there."

"As you wish", he muttered. He cast a glance at Uriel, then stepped towards the Landon's guards. He kept a careful eye on them, in case they tried anything. He was vastly outnumbered, of course, but he felt it was better than leaving them unattended. He looked the leader up and down. "So... what model is that?", he asked as he gestured at the guard's weapon.
