984 was watching. "I work with Elites every day. I'm kinda like the go-between of the humans and Elites. The ones that have seen me like me for who I am. I can easily forgive them for what they did to us if they started doing it to the rest of the Covenant."

(OoC: Hold on. You changed the subject before I had a chance to reply.)
Zarra sat back in her chair, "Humph." "You argue with A'lea," Indi pointed out. "It's different, neither of us has saved the other's life," said Zarra, "I think the human should be a little more grateful. That's all." "You just don't like seeing Anau getting picked on," said Indi. Zarra blushed again. "You! You! ...Rahr!" she growled in frustration, and hid her face.

Lachlan then snapped to Danny, who replied with a quick shake. Lachlan's jaw dropped, he the began making more head signals and this time also used his hands to gesture towards Anau and Zarra. "You two are not very subtle," Anau sighed. "Yeah? Neither are you and Zarra," Danny said, who quickly covered his mouth. "Ha!" Lachlan cheered. "I knew it!" "You know nothing, hold your tongue, human," Anau said rapidly. "This is almost too good," Lachlan laughed. "I have no idea what you're talking about, now, let us change the subject," Anau said, starting to get nervous. "Oh no, you're not getting out of it that easily," Lachlan chuckled. "The creator himself confirmed this," "I confirmed nothing, what I meant was that... actually, you know what?" Danny said, he then nodded towards Lachlan who suddenly sat forward. "What were we talking about, again?" he asked. "Something to do with the Covenant," Danny replied.

Zarra looked confused again for a moment. Then decided a change of subject was a good idea. "Ah, yes. About the Covenant..." She paused, trying to think of something more. "So you humans don't see purple as a particularly threatening color?"

"Oh no, if anything it boosted troop moral," Lachlan said. "Yeah, when I was going through the first Halo, I was confused as to why these epic aliens loved purple, I think I started to get a head ache during Truth and Reconciliation," Danny said.

"Ah, so it did work... In a way," said Zarra. "It's the color of their blood," said Mira, "Has anyone ever noticed that if we want to scare someone or get thier attention, the color we usually use is red? Colors have completely different meanings to them." "But every square inch of their ships, inside and out? That would drive me crazy after a while," said Indi, "And I like purple." "Our scientists discovered that purple would be the most likey color to drive humans to insanity," Zarra laughed, "But really, I don't know who decided on the color scheme or why, but what Mira said makes sense."

"Yeah, it does make sense," Danny said. "Your top scientists?" Lachlan asked and then bursting into laughter. "Our scientists were the source of your demise, human. Do not be so quick to insult," Anau growled.

Russell walked to Lachlan and said, "I haz a funny joke."
"In this room there are 20,000 ways Chuck Norris can kill you with the room's objects, including the room itself."
He laughed.

"Who?" asked Zarra. "Some old actor from like five hundered years ago that people made up all sorts of myths about," said Mira. "I still don't get it," Zarra sighed, "I just don't understand human comedy sometimes."

"That's funny, shame I've heard it too many times," Lachlan sighed. "God, I love Chuck Norris," Danny said. "I know so many, have you heard the-" "I guarantee you, I have," Lachlan interrupted, gesturing his hand towards Danny to not say another word. "Fine then," Danny said. "Hey, I have a question," Charlie said, looking at Anau. "How do you guys speak?" she asked. "I mean, you have no jaw, or lips," "I got a question too," Lachlan smirked. "How do you guys have-" "I guarantee you, we don't need to know," Danny interrupted, making the same hand gesture. "I think it's because our vocal chords are a lot deeper in our throat and are more complex than yours," Anau replied. "So, these mandibles are like our tongues, but they are also for show," he continued, expanding them out as wide as he could. (OoC: That's my own understand as to how they talk, I really don't know ) "Show off," Lachlan muttered. "Whoa, I could throw a ball down you're throat," Charlie laughed.

(OoC: Makes sense. I read somewhere that in one of the books it said that they did have tongues of some sort, but I don't know if they would use them to speak.)
"Impressive," said Mira. Zarra laughed, "I could do that as well, but I don't think it would be considered very ladylike." "Since when do you care about being ladylike?" asked Indi. "Humph, I might care a little," said Zarra, "I'm not entirely a tomboy."

"Another joke," Russell said.
"If Windows is the solution, can we please have the problem back?"

"God, I love Friday nights," Danny sighed, putting his feet onto the table. "Why? You're not doing anything," Lachlan said. "Yeah, I know," Danny sighed again. "You really don't have a life," Charlie said. "That's right and you should all be thankful for it, if it wasn't for me not having I life, none of you would exist," Danny replied. "Well technically, we don't," Kelly added. "I'm with the human," Anau said. "I never saw the point of socialising or 'going out', I prefer solitude," "That explains a lot, actually," Lachlan laughed.

"It's easier to think when your by yourself," said Indi, "I like hanging out with friends, but most of the time it's just more fun to sit in my room and doodle or write." "I'm not really sure how I spend most of my free time, but it isn't usually spent socializing either," said Zarra, thinking. "There's really no rhyme or reason to how you spent your freetime," said Indi, "You usually just think up some little project to keep yourself busy. I really need to make up some hobbies for you..." "Training," Zarra suggested. "That's not a hobby, that's work."

"I could be your hobby, if you'd like," Anau said, then immediately covering his mouth. "Wait, what?" Danny laughed. "What do you mean by that, Anau?" Lachlan asked with a smirk. "I meant... I meant...," Anau stuttered. "Do Aliens turn purple when they're embarrassed?" Charlie laughed.
